One Fall Day - Thanksgiving with Heather Cerulo

Hello & Happy Thanksgiving week! To celebrate, I pulled out some photos from last Thanksgiving. These photos feature 2 people I am very thankful for, my niece and nephew. I used the beautiful One Fall Day collection, along with a piece of paper from the Hearts and Ombre collection in the Orange color.

 

 

I started my layout by cutting pieces of patterned paper into 3" x 6" pieces, and then used my Banner Punch Board to notch the ends of each. I layered them over each other and curled up the edges. I cut a border strip from the borders paper and used a scallop border sticker to ground the banner at the top.

 

 

Next, I started to create clusters of leaves from the Ephemera packs, and pumpkins from the Ciao Chip. I love how these nestle together to create such fun clusters. I decided I needed some falling leaves from the clusters, and used the puffy stickers to add them.

 

 

For my title, I chose this beautiful "grateful" word from the Ephemera Words pack. I love the mix of colors and the script font, not to mention the word was perfect to describe these photos!

 

 

The final touch was some blue flowers from the epoxy stickers, peeking out of each cluster!

One Fall Day Thanksgiving layout with Maree

Hi Bella Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Today I have a Thanksgiving layout to share with you using the fabulous One Fall Day collection.

I really wanted to focus on a big fun title so that is where I started with this layout. I decided to use a stencil in the background under where I wanted my title to be. I used Distress Oxides to ink the stencil. I used the colors Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn. Then I added the Thanksgiving word and Ciao Chip title.

 

I added some vertical, and some horizontal elements to this layout. I used a wider piece of the green paper called "Pick of the Patch" for the vertical and then near the bottom of the page I used some of the "Borders" paper horizontally for interest.

On top of the "Borders" paper I added a little leafy, floral cluster. I pulled out some of the cooking elements from the collection for this layout and I think they are just adorable. Look at those gorgeous, almost vintage looking dishes!

The little jam pot is from a Bella Pop and it is just so sweet and shiny! For my final cluster I used the stack of books with a cup of tea and of course a steaming pie.

My pics are older and were quite dark (even after editing!) so I used the beautiful rich red paper to back my photos and capture the mood of them. I distressed the edges and attached them a little offset.

I finished the page with a couple of the small word ephemera banners, including "Home is where the Heart is" and "Thankful". This is such a wonderful collection for documenting all your Thanksgiving memories.

Thanksgiving featuring One Fall Day with Kim Olson

Hi Bella friends, it's Kim and I'm back with another layout using the fabulous One Fall Day collection. The theme for this week is Thanksgiving and this collection is perfect for it. I loved creating this layout documenting my granddaughters at my home a few years ago.

 

I love using circles on my pages and started by cutting them. I used the Grateful and Gobble 'Til You Wobble papers for all my circles. I used the Grateful paper and placed it on the top and bottom of my page. Then, I added jute twine from my stash for interest. I backed all my photos with the same papers as the circles.

The embellishments in this collection are so fun! I pulled out all the food related items. Then, I chose the ones that matched the colors I was using on my layout. I used a lot of the words from the ephemera words pack and picked "beautiful" for my title.

Now, it was time to create clusters and add all the fabulous embellishments. This is absolutely my favorite part of a layout.

I love all the super cute food items and used a lot on my page.

I adore the puffy stickers and finished my page with some of them, the epoxy stickers and the adorable Bella-Pops too.

One Fall Day with Erica Thompson

Hey friends! I am excited to be sharing a layout using the beautiful One Fall Day collection! 

I started with a piece of white textured cardstock trimmed down to 10.5x10.5" and added some beautiful pattern papers from the One Fall Day collection to mat the white cardstock. 

For my photos I am using two different sizes! I have one 2.75x2.75" and one sized at 2x2". I have placed them a little wonky in the center of the layout! I added a One Fall Day chipboard border under the photo to create a little "shelf" for my photos to sit above and created embellishment clusters to the left and right of photos! 

In the top left corner of the page I created a small embellishment cluster using One Fall Day die cuts and some of the epoxy stickers. 

For the bottom right corner of the layout I layered up One Fall Day die cuts and added a small epoxy heart! A super simple layout but I love how it turned out!

Grateful, Thankful and Blessed Layout by Conny Craig

Hello crafty friends!

It's Conny here today, wanted to start by wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. This week I created a layout using a large title Grateful, thankful, and blessed. I wanted to focus on how grateful, thankful, and blessed I am for having this little one in my life since the day I knew she was a part of me.

The large title was cut from that pumpkin paper using my Cricut machine, I thought it was perfect due to the fall season. I glued it to the ombre pink background and started embellishing the layout using the florals, tags, and a small photo.


How adorable is this polka-dot tag, just added that cute fox and paper clip with florals surrounding it!

I love adding layers of distressed paper under the photos, here on the photo- I added the little owl, so beautiful, and what an amazing experience die cuts, plus another cute paper clip at the top.
To finish the cluster, added florals behind the photo

To complete the layout, added stitching with my sewing machine and distressed the edges.

Thanksgiving & Cut Outs Week Day 3 | Inessa

Hi friends,

Inessa here and I'm sharing a thanksgiving layout using papers from the Spell on You collection, Bella besties and the Heart Attack Cut-Out. I hope you can be inspired to use your holiday themed collections in multiple ways. Since Thanksgiving has an abundance of oranges and warm colors, I picked papers that worked with my theme. 

I backed the cut-out (which is a precut paper die cut) and backed with the following papers: Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre Orange (B side), Bella Besties Graph & Dots Black (used both sides), Bella Besties Graph & Dots Bell Pepper(used both sides), Spell on You Candy Dots (b side), Broomsticks (b side), Daily Details (b side), Happy Halloween (b side), Spell Caster (b side). 

 

I used about 3/4 of the cut out and adhered it to my background paper using foam adhesive for a dimensional look. The background paper is the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre in Orange. I then adhered my photo using foam adhesive as well. I added a cluster of hearts on the left side and a title using the Aria alpha puffy stickers in black and Florence alpha stickers in Orange. 

As a last step, I made the little turkey using the Turkey Friend cutfile downloaded from the Silhouette store. You can find it here.

I used the same mix of papers, adding in some cardstock, the white Graph & Dots and the Pony Hearts & Ombre to cut the various pieces.

Thanksgiving Week Day 6 | Tarrah

Hi creative friends and Happy Thanksgiving!

It's Tarrah back with you to share a new scrapbook layout for Thanksgiving Week! I was very lucky to recently go away on a scrapbooking retreat with some girlfriends, we had a blast of course! This photo was taken out at one of our lunches. I printed the photo in black and white and I love how it pops against the gorgeous bright colours in the Home Sweet Home collection I have used for this layout!

I firstly chose the pink ombre paper for my background paper and began building my layout. I placed 2 of the border stickers from the Doohickey Stickers at the very top of my layout. I then cut out a few papers fairly small from the Home Sweet Home collection and adhered them down, bending the edges of them and tearing the edges to add some texture. I decided to cut out the Thankful title cut file title using my Silhouette Cameo machine. I cut out the 'Thank' part of the title in one of the darker blue papers and the 'Ful' part of the title from one of the pink papers. I used foam tape to pop these up from the page. 

To make up the rest of the title, I took the Florence alphabet stickers in Bell Pepper and spelt out 'For'. I then took the Friends word from the chipboard icon stickers and placed it down under the Thankful and For titles. I love the mix of fonts and colours in my title. I added lots of the Doohickey Stickers and phrases from the Ephemera Icons pack from the Home Sweet Home collection around my page to help tell the story. I also took some die cut hearts from the Ephemera Icons pack placing these around my photo, I just love all those colours!!

I love to layer things on top of my cut files so I placed a die-cut and a sticker on top of the 'Thank' part of the cut file. On the right of my photo I popped up the pennant that says Friends Are Our Chosen Family with foam tape. I love this saying and it goes perfectly with the theme of my layout! Lastly I placed some of the small hearts from the Puffy Trinket Shapes in a few different colours around my page, I stamped the date stamp and sprinkled some white mist on my layout too.

Hey there Bella Friends! Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you are having an amazing day! Yarelys here to share with you a new layout! To make this layout I used the Home Sweet Home collection and three Bella Cut Files.

I started my layout by cutting the cut files. For the Happy Thanksgiving and the Hearty Background cut files, I used white cardstock, and for the On The Vine cut file, I used the Graphic & Dot in Pickle Juice. Once I had cut all my cut files, I want through the papers of the collection and picked the Welcome Home, All My Love, Daily Details, Mosaic Tile and Home Sweet Home, and backed the Happy Thanksgiving cut file with them.

To paint my background, I used Distress Oxide in colors that match with the papers. I also used the Hearty Background as a stencil.

To build my layout, I glued the Happy Thanksgiving cut file and my photos. Then, I fussy cut some flowers from the Welcome Home paper and made three clusters with them and the On The Vine cut file. To finish my layout, I added Ephemera, Doohickey and Trinkets Puffy Stickers.

Thanksgiving Week Day 3 | Melissa Mann

Good morning!

This is Melissa here with you today on the blog and I have a new Thanksgiving themed layout. Those of us here in the United States are celebrating Thanksgiving this week and I dug back in the photo archives and found some photos from Thanksgiving of 2019 to scrap and share with you all here :-)

I knew two things about this layout: I wanted to use a big title and I wanted to use several photos. I downloaded and cut out a digital cut file from the Bella Blvd Silhouette store that said "TURKEY DAY" and cut this out using Kraft card stock. 

I also knew that I wanted to use some earthy, darker toned papers for this project. I used a piece of rust colored card stock and a piece of brown Bella Besties pattern paper in Pony. I backed my card stock with the pattern paper and used a lighter piece of pattern paper from the Home Sweet Home paper collection to layer down the length of my layout. I found four photos I wanted to use and converted them to black and white. I placed these in a grid and backed it with the yellow pattern paper from Home Sweet Home.

I created a couple of embellishment clusters on either side of my grid using stickers, puffy stickers, chipboard, and die-cuts. Once I had all of this situated, I figured out where to place my title but I needed something to anchor my title down. I decided to take a strip of the same yellow pattern paper from Home Sweet Home and stitch the title to it with my sewing machine. I notched one end of the strip of paper and adhered it down at the top of my layout. I typed and placed my journaling underneath it.

Thanksgiving Week | Sarah

Happy Tuesday, Bella friends! I can't believe we are already approaching the end of November. How is it that December is just around the corner?! Are you all ready for Thanksgiving?! I know I am ready to get my feast on, hehe.

Anyway, It's me Sarah K. (@redoaklines) back on the blog, and I'm continuing Thanksgiving projects week!

Here's how I felt inspired:

 

I worked with lots of pieces from the To The Moon Collection for this layout. I know, I know - it's not conventionally made for Thanksgiving projects, but no fret! I used the fun "Happy Turkey Day" cut file from the Silhouette design store, and I used photos from a Turkey Day a few years back.

 

I started my layout by cutting out banner shapes from coordinating patterned papers. Then I layered some older Thanksgiving photos. I also stapled some arrows and tabs from the ephemera icons pack to add more dimension to my project.

I created embellishment clusters of stars around my photos. These clusters consist of pieces from the ephemera icons pack and puffy stickers.

Lastly, I want to talk about the Florence alphabet stickers - which I love and use ALL THE TIME! To make my title pop, I gave it some color by adding some Florence alphabet stickers to document the month and year of these photos. The hearts in the "O" and the "0" are also from another Florence alphabet stickers sheet. To be honest, I love that these alphas come in an array of colors, all of which coordinate with any of the Bella collections.

Thanksgiving Week Day 6 | Traci

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!  November is always one of my favorite months of the year ... the fall season in Georgia is so pretty, I love the cooler temperatures, and the Thanksgiving holiday always reminds me to be grateful.

So for my project, I used some colorful Bella Besties papers and Trinkets puffy stickers to create a gratitude journal.

For the album base, I used the Essential Mini Album die (661094) that was designed by Lori Whitlock for Sizzix.  I cut the base of the album pages out of white card stock, and the inset papers out of Bella Besties and lined journaling paper.

 

The pattern papers and cute flower die cuts are from the Chloe collection, and the "thankful" title is a die from Echo Park Paper Co.  (Links to all products can be found on my Artsy Albums blog).

I kept my album pretty simple because I plan to put 3x4 photos on the left side of every layout, and then journal about the things I'm thankful for on the right.

 

I added clusters of Trinkets puffy stickers on each journaling page.  I love how there are flowers, hearts and arrows so that I can mix it up.  So simple but so cute!

 

I love small little albums dedicated to journaling.  This would also be a fun project for kids to write what they are thankful for, or you could change up the papers to mcintosch and guacamole for a Christmas traditions journal.
