Tomorrow begins the first day of our fifth annual She Loves Color event. For the first time ever, for obvious reasons (stupid Covid), the event will be virtual. We will have friends joining us from all over the world, even as far as Columbia! Volunteers have been hard at work these past 2 months preparing #allthethings to be shipped out to attendees. Here’s a sneak peek at our preparations this year…

This week we are sharing something or someone we are thankful for! There are so many people I am thankful for but I really wanted to document my husband Mike! He is my everything and I am so thankful and blessed to have him in our lives!
I dug into my stash of Bella Blvd products and pulled some papers that matched this small piece of borders paper I had left. I love the colors in this paper and I knew I wanted to use them all. I used some small leaf dies from my stash and cut out a bunch with the papers I pulled.
I cut apart all of the borders and added some to the top and bottom of my white 12x12 cardstock. I distressed the edges a little to give them a bit of texture. I also found this white with black polka dot paper in my stash and cut a few strips to add to the layout.
The photo of Mike and I was taken at the White Sox game over the summer. I printed it out in black and white and added a few layers of patterned paper behind it. I placed it towards the bottom right corner of my page. I added the die cut leaves from the bottom right corner of the page going up to the top left of the page. I also added some puffy heart stickers, here is a look at my completed layout.
Make sure to keep coming back this week for even more design team inspiration! Have a great day!

Good morning Bella friends! Amy Heller here with you today :)
Last Thursday, we kicked off our FIRST annual She Loves Color event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We had over 150 attendees come from all over the United States (from Puerto Rico to Alaska!) fly or drive to Milwaukee for this fun-filled, laugh-out-loud, friend-making, color-saturated creative event that spanned over three days. We had industry-leading educators/manufacturers teach 2.5 hour long workshops throughout the event and countless prize donations from a huge group of super generous manufacturers! We had make-n-takes, a shopping bazaar, a fully-stocked on-site scrapbooking store from local store owner Therese of Polkadots, photo "booths" as well as crop rooms! It was a scrapbooker's dream!
Below we have put together a slideshow of some of the nearly 3,000 photos taken at the event, so grab a cup of tea or coffee and sit back and enjoy a look back at some of the highlights of the 2016 event!
We also wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our generous sponsors! Their prize donations were abundant and made our "Moneyballs" raffle drum one of the highlights of the event!
To everyone who came, enjoyed, crafted, and made new memories, THANK YOU!
To our educators, THANK YOU!
To everyone who worked behind the scenes and/or at the event THANK YOU!
To our generous sponsors, THANK YOU!
To you, our fans, THANK YOU for making this dream a reality for everyone at Bella Blvd!
