Bella Besties I Heather Cerulo

Hello there and happy Leap Day! Today I am sharing a rainbow inspired layout using the lovely Bella Besties.  Have you seen the new line of Bella Bestie papers? Swoonworthy!

 

For this layout, I decided to make a rainbow chevron background.  Start by cutting 1.5" squares from the dotted side of the Bella Besties papers.  Next up, cut those squares diagonally to create triangles.  Finally, lay the pieces out to create a chevron! Fun and easy!  One last additional step is to add machine stitching through the chevron for some nice texture.

 

I used the Letter Scramble alphas for my title in Black and Guacamole, because of course "green" had to be in Guacamole...it's only right for Kermit the Frog!

 

 

To embellish, I used pieces from the Lake Life collection, including ephemera, Ciao Chip and Bella-Pops.  I created a cascade of flower from the top to the bottom of the layout.

 

 

The finishing touches were the Trinkets Puffy Stickers in matching colors.  I used the hearts to tuck around the clusters and to finish off my layout!

Sweater Weather Scrapbook Layout | Brianna Estrella | My Life 365 + Luna Alphas

Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm so happy to share another layout using the My Life 365 collection. This week, the Creative Team is pairing the January portion of the collection with the Luna Alphas in a creative way.  Here's what I came up with: 

To start, I chose my Luna Alpha colors first. I ended up choosing McIntosh, Blueberry and Pink. I thought those matched my photos and the January section the best. I wanted to highlight them in a fun way so I cut out three 2x10 inch rectangles inside a piece of white cardstock.  I then carefully traced them on another piece of white cardstock so that I could use those lines as a guide to fill in each rectangle with the Luna Alphas. I filled each one and then I added foam tape all over the rest of that page. Next, I lined up the other piece of white cardstock that I cut the rectangles out of and adhered it right over my base.

I wanted each of the rectangle boxes to stand out a bit so I drew in some black lines around each one. Simple and effective!

Next, I matted my photo strip using a scrap of the Snow Much Fun paper and then backed it with a few tags that I fussy cut from the January paper. I added some white twine through each one as well. 

I then added a third tag to the bottom left corner of my page and adhered the 'January' die cut from the Ephemera Words pack right next to it.

I started to embellish the rest of my page by sprinkling in a few Ephemera Words and Icons pieces as well as some Bella Besties Trinket Puffy Stickers in McIntosh, Peep and Blueberry. I love this color palette so much!

January Focus | My Life 365 by Inessa Persekian

Hey friends, welcome back to the blog! Today, I’m sharing a layout using the brand-new My Life 365 collection. My assignment was to work with the January papers, and I chose to create a whimsical, snowy-themed layout featuring three 2x3 photos. I love this photo size when working with multiple images on a 12x12 layout. The photos are of my son and his friend ice-skating outdoors and it’s definitely giving all the winter vibes!

 

I started with the "So Fun" cut file from the Makes Me Happy cutouts pack. This versatile pack includes multiple designs, but "So Fun" felt perfect for my ice-skating theme.

For the background, I used a 12x12 sheet of Snow Much Fun paper. To mat my photos, I used the b-side of the Summer Picnics paper, which is technically from the summer months. However, the reverse side has a subtle wave design that works beautifully here—you’d never guess it’s a summer paper! I also incorporated the colorful snowflakes from the B-side of another Snow Much Fun sheet.

To complete the background, I layered an 11x11" piece of textured white cardstock over the patterned paper and added gold stitching around the edges for a polished look. I lightly distressed the edges of the white cardstock and added gold splatters for a touch of sparkle, framing the photos and title.

For the title, I used the "Winter" phrase from the Ephemera Words pack, paired with snowflake icons, a snow globe, and an adorable penguin embellishment. I popped up the "so Fun" cut file and one of the snowflakes with foam tape for added dimension. To finish it off, I added a "Smile" tab from the Ephemera Words pack, puffy snowflake stickers, and epoxy accents in various shades of blue.

I love how this layout turned out! It perfectly captures the joy of a snowy day, and I hope it inspires you to document your own winter memories.

Year Full Of Memories! | My Life 365 | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! It's Tara from Secretbees Studio. 2025 is just a few days away and I have some amazing inspiration to capture a years worth of memories! The new My Life 365 collection by Bella Blvd celebrates every month of the year with the most charming and adorable patterned papers and embellishments. I am so excited to show you all of the beautiful pages I have created in this mighty and full mini album. 

The patterned papers of this collection coordinate beautifully with all of the Bella Besties papers and I chose a Bella Bestie color from both the Gingham and Stripes and the Graph and Dot collections to go along with every month in the mini. The combinations you could make are endless and they will all look stunning! You will see these pretty papers throughout the mini and on the covers along with the 6x6 Graph and Dot colored papers!

I kept the format of the album fairly simple and consistent- each section has a cover page with a pocket on the back to store extra photos and mementos, two photo sleeve pages that are ready for all of your fabulous memories and a journal page to document your impressions and recollections for the month! To vary the design a bit, I created three different pocket configurations and changed up the photo sleeves and journal pages for every month. Every section is stuffed with all of the beautiful journal cards, tags and borders of the collection and decorated with all of the super cute ephemera and icons! 

One of my favorite parts of this collection are the monthly tabs in the ephemera words pack. Some are worded while others are cute patterns. They go along with the theme of each month and I used them on each of the cover pages. It's so fun to view the album from the side and see all of the colorful tabs popping out! Plus, it's an easy, and adorable, way to flip to a specific month!

 

There WILL be a tutorial on my YouTube channel very soon and possibly by the time this post goes live depending on holiday festivities! Check back frequently so you know when it's live. I think everyone should have a mini album like this one to store a years worth of memories and mementos!

Happiest Season Of All | 12 x 12 Scrapbook Layout | Conny Craig

Hey, crafty friends!

It's Conny here today, and I have a 12 x 12 layout to share using the Merry and Mingle collection. This week, we’re focusing on incorporating more than two photos into our projects.

I started with an 11" x 11" piece of white cardstock, using a stencil to create a fun pattern with pink ink. Next, I added the Colorful Christmas paper, measuring 11 1/4" x 11 1/4", to frame the white background. Finally, I used a 12" x 12" sheet of the "String the Lights" paper, featuring a black background with white polka dots, for the next step.

I centered my stencil inking primarily along the right and left edges of the white background. To the left of the layout, I created a cluster with two smaller photos, each measuring 3” x 4.” I also ripped two pieces of cardstock, each measuring approximately 2” x 7 1/4,” and placed them underneath the photos; the papers were Merry Mingle Borders and Let's Decorate. I placed my photos on top of those ripped distressed papers, but I added 1mm foam adhesive to the back first to create layers/dimension. I created clusters using 3" x 4" photos, embellishing them with epoxy stickers and puffy stickers featuring hearts. This design highlights two focal points: one at the top left and another at the bottom right of the photos. For the title, I chose "Mingle, Happiest Season of All," using ephemera words, and I added a cute little house, Christmas tree, and star. From the 12" x 12" sticker sheet, I included a scalloped border at the bottom of the title, as well as on the left and top sides of the ripped background pieces.

Now, moving to the right side of the layout, I selected a larger 3" x 5" photo and backed it with patterned paper. I created clusters at the top of this photo using puffy stickers, ephemera icons, and epoxy stickers. On top of the photo, I added the phrase "I Love Christmas," along with a few hearts. Remember, we don’t need different photos to create a layout! To finish everything off, I added some stitching with my sewing machine.

Christmas Cookie Season! | Merry Mingle Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! It's Tara with Secretbees Studio and I have a super fun and cute layout featuring the new Merry mingle collection and one of the fabulous, easy to use Christmas cut outs!If you are looking for a quick way to get a big, beautiful title on your layout, these cut outs are for you!

I used the 'Happiest Season Of All' cutout and to add a bit more dimension to it, I traced a slightly larger outline onto the red dotted 'Santa Season' paper and then cut that out removing all of the center sections. I think this helps the white letters pop against whatever background is used. Then I backed all of the letters, except for three, with the beautiful patterns of the Merry Mingle collection! In the remaining letters, I added photos of my grandbabies making- and eating- Christmas cookies! The letters in this cut out are large and open enough to allow for small photos which really add to the charm of this layout!

I used a 10 and 5/8 " square of the black dotted 'String The Lights' paper as my background mounted that on a slightly larger piece of white cardstock and a square of the green 'Let's Decorate' patterned paper. Because there was already so much color and pattern in this layout, I kept the embellishments fairly simple and added a cluster to the top left and the bottom right. Some of the ephemera pieces are behind the title and others are in front of or popped up with foam tape!

The finishing touches were some shiny epoxy hearts, holly leaf stickers and tiny dots! To highlight the red in the layout, I also added a few groups of cheery red stitches! I added in the smaller title and date on a thin strip of the blue 'Making Spirits Bright' patterned paper to the bottom of the page.

12" x 12 " Christmas Cookie Friend Scrapbook Layout | Merry Mingle | Conny Craig

Hello crafty Friends!

Today, I'm excited to share the process of creating my latest 12 x 12 scrapbook layout, which I hope will inspire your crafting projects. I started with Bella Blvd's 12 x 12 Double-Sided Paper titled "Merry And Bright." I carefully cut out vibrant wedges from the "Merry And Bright" paper to kick off the layout. While the paper had a lovely white background, I wanted to add some dimension, so I adhered these colorful pieces onto a solid white base to make them stand out. I also used the reverse side of the paper, which features a fun/colorful merry and bright , incorporating one wedge from that side for added variety.

To enhance the texture and visual appeal, I used my sewing machine to stitch along the edges of each wedge. I made sure to leave the edges slightly lifted, creating a playful, distressed effect. This technique helps to bring each piece to life, adding depth to the layout.

To prepare for framing, I trimmed 1/4 inch from each side of the colorful wedge paper. Next, I adhered a contrasting piece of 12 x 12 double-sided paper called "It's A Party," which features vibrant polka dots. The lively pattern of this paper creates a dynamic background that beautifully complements the colorful wedges.

Finally, the embellishment stage is where I had the most fun! I spent time sorting through my collection of embellishments to gather items that matched the color wedges of my layout. This included a variety of cardstock stickers, puffy stickers, chipboard epoxy pieces, and assorted ephemera. I added the title Christmas cookie friend! and added a few sticker around photo.

The Cutest Cookie | Merry Mingle Collection | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here with another layout using the super adorable Merry Mingle collection. I took this photo of my daughter last year using a snowman cookie from Starbucks. It was a cute trending circulating on social media and I knew I had to participate. I’m so glad that I did! Here’s my page:

To start, I chose to add two strips of the Let’s Decorate 12x12 patterned paper to the top and bottom of some white cardstock. I then took the Cookie Exchange paper and trimmed two pieces into a 4x6 size.  I centered those and adhered them down onto my page. Next, I matted my photo using the Ornament Exchange paper. I popped it up on foam tape and placed it right in the center of my layout. 

I wanted some embellishments to frame my photo so I built two clusters on each side using some Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers as well as some Epoxy stickers.

Next, I created my title using the Luna Alpha stickers in McIntosh, Bell Pepper and Gulf.

Next, I added in a few Puffy Icons and then some of the red smaller dots from the Epoxy stickers. I also added in some phrase pieces from the Ephemera Words pack.

Merry | Brianna Lepper | Merry Mingle Collection

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I'm so stoked to bring you a new layout using the brand new Merry Mingle collection.  Here's my page: 

To start, I chose the Let's Get Ugly 12x12 paper as my base and then layered the B side of the Merry Mingle Borders paper on top of it.  Next, I layered the Santa Season paper and then adhered a piece of white cardstock as my final layer. 

For my title, I chose the "Merry" phrase from the Ciao Chip Chipboard sticker sheet since it matched my daughter's sweater in the photo. I popped the letters all up on foam tape and then added the small houses from the same chipboard sticker sheet right next to it.

I centered and adhered my photo and added the adorable scalloped chipboard border sticker right underneath it. I also added a few trees from the Ephemera Icons pack to each side and included the other two houses from the chipboard sticker sheet. So cute!

The top portion of my page needed a little something so I added the adorable strand of lights from the Ephemera Icons pack and then put a phrase banner from the Ephemera Words pack right above it.

Home For The Holidays! | Merry Mingle Collection | Tara Chaussee

 

Hi everyone! It's Tara with Secretbees Studio here with a sweet mini album made with the new Merry Mingle collection! This one is all about being home for Christmas and all of the fun we have there!

I was inspired by the red brick decorative house in the ephemera icons pack and created a larger cut file complete with windows for my mini album. I layered on the front house pieces using the adorable patterned papers of the collection, keeping true to the color scheme and even added in a couple of Christmas trees as well! I left the windows open to add some working tiny lights to the inside of the front cover for a charming cozy effect.

Included in the ephemera words pack of the Merry Mingle collection are all of these amazing large and colorful word dies and I wanted those to be the stars of the pages. Each page features one large word and then simple embellishments with plenty of room to tuck in one single photo or a few smaller ones!

Each of the large word dies were popped off the pages a bit and then I tucked in more of the cheery ephemera icons as well as the adorable puffy and epoxy stickers! On the Memories page, the star ornament is attached to the word with a small brad so it has some festive movement!

 

This little house album was so much fun to create and I can't wait to start filling it with my holiday photos! This Merry Mingle collection is so fabulous and I know you will find something in it to inspire your holiday crafting!

You & Me | One Fall Day Collection | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends! Brianna here and I'm so happy to share a new layout using the One Fall Day collection.  I'm so very blessed and grateful for my sweet girl and for all of the special moments (both big and small) we share together. Here's my page: 

To start, I trimmed the B side of the 12x12 Borders paper to a 9x12 and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock. I then took the You & Me Cut Outs pack and selected the "You And Me" piece and backed it using patterned papers from the collection.  Next, I adhered it towards the bottom right side of my layout.

I tucked in some leaves that I pulled from both the Ephemera Icons and Words packs.  I love this color palette! It's very on point with Fall but the pops of the soft pink and blues makes me so happy.

I arranged my photo at the top left of my layout and added a few embellishments around it. This was a different design for me and I'm so glad that I tried it. It's fun to mix up your style every now and then.

I just had to add this adorable fox from the Sweather Weather Bella Pop. It's so cute and it fits perfectly right above the Cut Out.

I embellished around the rest of my page using more pieces from the Ephemera Icons and Words packs and then added a cute squirrel from the Puffy Stickers.
