Squeeze the Day: Cards from Daily Details & Borders Papers

I created a couple cards inspired by Squeeze the Day Daily Details and Borders papers! I love all the versatile options to fussy-cut images and to use bits of the Borders patterns on my crafty projects. The challenge of DIY'ing embellishment groupings with just patterned papers stretches my creative mind.

 

On the first card, I fussy cut out the letters on the LOVE card for the title element and the added in a few pairs of pears to play up the fun message.

For the second card, I fussy-cut all the strawberries from one card to support the "love you bunches" sentiment (Daily Details paper).

Off The Page Project Week- Day 5 | Nathalie DeSousa

Hello Bella Blvd Friends!

Nathalie here, to continue with this week's Off the Page theme.  As we set to celebrate Christmas, many of us are looking at ways to add that special touch to our gift packaging.  So, I thought about a fun and simple idea to help you with the very popular gift cards!

 

 

This is an easy and fun project that is sure to make those gift cards a hit.  All you need is a 6"x6" piece of paper, and your scoring board

 

 

Each paper is folded in half in a diagonal line (your paper will look like a triangle now).  Fold one of the free corners to touch the edge of the fold, then fold the two corners ( at the folded edge) towards the center of the triangle.   That is it!

 

 

Now it is all about decorating the pocket.  I decided to create rosettes (0.75"x12") as a focal point at the front of each pocket.   There are so many beautiful papers in the Let Us Adore Him collection that it was easy to match them in one project.

 

 

I used a few pieces of chipboard, doohickey, and journal ephemera to decorate each pocket.  All I need now is to fill them up!

Off The Page Projects | Christmas Cards | Yarelys Rodriguez

Hey there Bella Friends! Hope you are having a wonderful day! Yarelys he to share with you a new project! This time I made three Christmas cards using the Let Us Adore Him collection.

To start my cards, I cut three pieces of white cardstock and folded it in half. Then, I went through the papers of the collection and picked the Humble, Oh Holy Night and Rebirth, and cut a piece of each paper.

Now it’s time to build my cards! For the Joy card, I glued a piece of the Humble paper. Then, I cut a piece of white cardstock, hand stitched around it and glued it. Then, I glued the word Joy with adhesive foam to give it dimension.

For the Holy card, I glued a piece of the Oh Holy Night paper and a piece of white cardstock on top. Then, I glued ephemera and the Holy, Holy, Holy die cut.

And for the Merry Christmas card, I glued two pieces of the Rebirth paper. Then, I glued some of the Christmas trees from the ephemera and the Merry Christmas die cut.

To finish my cards, I added Puffy Stickers, Enamels and Epoxy.

Off the Page Week Day 3 | Christmas Crackers | Niki Rowland

Hey everyone! This is Niki (@nikiclairecreates) and I have something a little different to share today…some DIY Christmas Crackers! I’m using the Let Us Adore Him collection and there is a process video too.

I used a Silhouette cut file to cut three crackers from three different papers from the Let Us Adore him collection. I chose fairly plain prints in red, green and blue. I also cut the initials of my three children from these same papers.

I assembled the crackers and tied ribbon around the ends. I then set about embellishing each of them.

For the blue cracker I added a red circle sticker layered with a white circle and the added the M initial. I layered this with some Christmas trees from the Let Us Adore Him ephemera and ‘this Christmas’ banner. I also added some little musical note circles, a puffy heart and some enamel dots.

For the green cracker I created a circle for the T initial using a red sticker and a white circle. I positioned this to the right of the cracker and layered it with some blue flowers and a blue present. I also added musical note circles to this cracker, together with some puffy flowers and enamel dots.

For the red cracker, I punched a white circle to hold the S initial and I positioned this centrally on the cracker. I added a tree ephemera, two flowers and two presents. I also added heart stickers, flower ephemera and some puffy stickers: holly leaves and trees. I also added enamel dots.

Finally, I splattered all three crackers with white acrylic paint. I will fill these with chocolates and put them on the table on Christmas Day – how fun and the children will love them! Enjoy watching the process video below.

Off the Page Week- Day 1 | Sarah K

Hello, Bella friends! It's me Sarah (@redoaklines) back on the blog, and I'm so excited to be back here today with a new Christmas project. And guess what?! It's not a layout! Can you believe it?! I decided to make a tag mini album using the Let Us Adore Him collection.

I had a ton of photos from a trip me and my family took a few years back to New York City for the holidays, and I thought it would be cool for the kids to see it in a little album (especially since we are in full swing Christmas season mode around here). 

Here's what I created:

 

I started off by cutting out a handful of tags using different patterned papers from the Let Us Adore Him collection. All of the patterns in this collection will work for the front and backs of the tags.

I kept the front cover of my album pretty simple. I layered some die cut trees and a tree puffy sticker, added the "Christmas Joy" die cut, and ta-da!

Once I had all my tags cut out, I added photos to most of my tags and embellished them with various pieces from the Let Us Adore Him embellishments.

I especially loved using the Ephemera Icons and Words packs. It made decorating each tag super easy.

You can also used stickers from the Doohickey sticker sheet or puffy stickers to help embellishment your photos. See some examples below:

To bind everything together, I just used a simple binder ring and added some fun ribbon.

And that's all I have for now! Hopefully, I have inspired you to get those holiday photos printed and into some projects! I'm so glad I did. My kids have looked over this album a few times already, and I'm glad they can relive these holiday memories through a mini album I created.

Merry Christmas from Scrapbook.com Friends!  I am joining many talented designers as we come together with Scrapbook.com sharing videos of Holiday Inspiration.  My project will be a holiday favorite to continue to build on, and it uses the Blush Heidi Swapp Rolodex and the wonderful new Bella Blvd FaLaLa Collection using old family photos.The reason I chose this project is because both sets of our parents are gone, and I realize how important it is to help my daughter to remember her grandparents.

Holiday Gift Card Holders | Erica Thompson

Hey friends! Erica here with you today, and I am excited to share some coffee cup gift card holders with you! We give a lot of gift cards during the holidays and these will be perfect for our coffee loving friends! I pulled out the Santa Squad collection and a new coffee cup gift card holder die that I recently picked up! I fell in love with this die set and could not wait to use it with this new holiday collection from Bella Blvd!

I die cut all the pieces out using the 6x6 Santa Squad paper pad. It is the perfect size for this die set! I love the smaller scale prints for a project like this. 

I love that there is a cut to insert your gift card and I think anyone would be happy to receive a cut card like this!

I embellished each of the coffee sleeves with stickers, die cuts and bella pops from the Santa Squad collection. I found some fun trims to add to them as well from my stash to add a finishing touch! I love how these turned out and I can't wait to send them out!

Rolodex Memory Cards with Allie (And Santa Squad!)

Have you fallen in love with the "Rolodex" style memory keeping lately? I know I have for sure! These cards are so fun and easy to whip up to create a fun, simple December memory project! 

I wanted to create a fun little project for December memory keeping that was low key and EASY-- so these little cards called my name!  They came together so quickly, and it was so easy to just layer on bits and pieces-- no photos needed if you don't have any! The best part? I used some of the scraps on my desk from other Santa Squad projects! Don't waste a single bit of this adorable collection! 

To create these cards, I cut down some of my extra papers to approximately 4 in x 3 in and used my MemoryDex punch to make it so I could put it in my MemoryDex box! After I created the card, I started decorating! I typed up some of my favorite December song lyrics, as well as some December memories so far, and cut out the strips and glued them on. I love the "collage" look it creates! 

I also had a lot of fun adding in some washi and some Christmas themed "Heart Hugs" from Bella Blvd to add some fun dimension and interest.
