Creating with a Mood Board: A Rainbow-Inspired Scrapbook Layout | Inessa Persekian

Hey friends,

I love using mood boards as a creative spark, and for this layout, I was completely drawn to the rainbow color scheme. It felt vibrant, happy, and full of energy—exactly the kind of inspiration I needed! To bring this vision to life, I worked with the My Life 365 collection, which had the perfect mix of colors and patterns to complement my design.

I started with a sheet of 11x11 textured white cardstock and framed it with the May and April papers. For my title, I used the "That Makes Me Happy" cut-out, backing each letter with different patterned papers to create a rainbow:

• H – A pink tag from another sheet of the May paper

• A – A sunshine print from the August paper

• P – A green clover pattern from the March paper

• P – A waves pattern from the June paper

• Y – A purple tag from the October paper

To add even more dimension and continue the rainbow theme, I used tone-on-tone embellishments. I fussy cut a few hearts and pulled out coordinating icons from the Icons ephemera pack, epoxy dots and puffy stickers. For a finishing touch, I incorporated pieces from Bella Pops, including a purple flower from the For Mom bella-pop and a yellow popsicle from the Stay Cool bella-pop. These fun elements gave the layout a whimsical, playful feel.

I absolutely love how this layout came together! The mood board was such a fantastic starting point, and I enjoyed pulling together different patterns and colors to bring the rainbow theme to life. My Life 365 | April Inspiration | By: Annette Allen

 

Happy April everyone. This is my favorite month of the year. It is when Spring starts and how awesome is it that Jesus has Risen? What a wonderful blessing. Today I am sharing two cards that I created using the My Life 365 collection. This is the April set that is part of the collection. Let's get springy. 

 

 

First up we are celebrating that Jesus has Risen with this sweet tag fill card. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size. 

 

Cut a panel measuring 4 1/4 x 4 1/2 on the Bella Besties Freehand Graph & Dot Bell Pepper. Die cut or machine cut a decorative strip on the bottom of the panel. Adhere this panel to your card starting at the top. You should see your pretty decorative strip at the bottom and will also have some white space. 

 

Cut out the two tags from the April paper and punch the holes out at the top of the tag. I used a hole punch. I adhered the tags together using foam tape. Angle the tags so you can see them both but make sure your tag holes are lined up. 

 

 

Use some burlap string and tie a bow on the tags. 

 

Add some foam tape to the back of the tags and adhere them to the card. Try and keep them on the Bell Pepper paper. Leaving the white space free. 

 

Pick out some of those pretty flowers from the Ephemera Icons and add them to your card. I did three on each side, but you can use as many as you like. 

 

I finished with a little dimension adding some of the Epoxy dots and some of the dots from the Luna Alphabet Puffy Stickers Peep and White to the center of the flowers. 

 

 

Next up we have bunnies... yes, cute bunnies. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

On a white A2 panel adhere a A2 panel of the Bella Besties Freehand Graph & Dots (Ice) from the 6x6 paper pad. 

 

Cut a strip of the April backer paper measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Cut another decorative edge on the top part of the paper and then adhere it to your card using liquid glue.

 

Die cut or machine cut some grass (or what appears to be grass) on the Bella Besties Freehand Graph &  Dots Pickle Juice backer paper. I die cut two of them and then layered them at the bottom of the card using foam tape. 

 

 

Cut out these two bunnies from the April paper using fine scissors. Add them to the card behind the grass using liquid glue. Make them look like they are peek out from the grass. Add some of those cute flowers from the All Year Long Puffy Stickers.

 

Pick out the two carrots from the Ephemera Icons and add them to the card using liquid glue. 

 

Let's also add a few more carrots from the All Year Long Puffy Stickers. 

 

Cut a small strip of the Bella Besties Freehand Graph & Dots 6x6 paper (Pony) measuring 3 1/4. 

 

Trim down the Hoppy Hoppy Hoppy Easter that was part of the bunnies we just trimmed down and adhere  it to the Pony strip we just cut. Tuck it into the grass and adhere it to the card using foam tape. Knew we have a sign on a post. 

 

Finishing with a Happy Sun from the My Life 365 Doohickey. I added foam tape to the back and adhere it to the scene. 

 

Adhere your panel to the card and you are done. Lots of steps but super easy.

My Lucky Charm | Brianna Estrella | My Life 365 + Bella Besties Gingham and Stripes

Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm so happy to share another layout using more of the My Life 365 collection. This week, we are pairing it with the Bella Besties Gingham and Stripes 12x12 paper. We are working with the March section of the collection and it was so fun to work with. Here's my page: 

When I went through the Gingham and Stripes papers, I chose colors that would match the March section of the collection. I ended up choosing Pickle Juice, Bell Pepper and Ice since it matched the blues in my photo. For the base of my layout, I chose the Luck Of The Irish paper. I then took a second piece of that paper and trimmed it down to a 9.25x9.25 size and adhered a piece of white cardstock sized at a 9x9 right on top of that.  The Luck Of The Irish paper is printed with the phrase 'Lucky and Blessed' and it was the perfect foundation for this layout about my sweet girl. 

To bring in the Gingham and Stripes papers, I took a couple of flower punches and punched some flowers out. I lifted up the edges and then layered and adhered them on the bottom left and top right corners of the squares. It was super simple and easy but it really adds so much to the page. 

 

I wanted to add some color to the white cardstock so I did some ink blending with a few Distress Oxide inks in coordinating colors. I then matted my photo using the B side of the March paper and adhered it down. For my title, I chose the 'Lucky' phrase from the Ephemera Words and added onto it using some Luna Alphas in Black, Pickle Juice, Bell Pepper, Orange and Guacamole. Annie girl really is my lucky charm!

Next, I went through the Ephemera Icons and the Puffy Stickers and adhered the March items around the page. There's a few florals and of course, some fun shamrocks!

Lastly, I added a few small phrase Doohickey Stickers and some Epoxy dots. This is such a fun and festive page and I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Lucky to have You Handmade Cards | St. Patrick's Day + Lucky To Have You | Conny Craig

Let's create two cards that measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I started with an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock and trimmed it along the 11" side at 5 1/2". This gives you two pieces of cardstock, each measuring 8 1/2" by 5 1/2".

Next, score one of the pieces on the 8 1/2" side at the center, which is 4 1/4". This will leave you with a card base of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Now, trim another piece of cardstock from the My Life 365 Luck of the Irish collection to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Additionally, cut two pieces measuring 5" x 3 3/4".

Using your favorite adhesive, attach the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece to the top of the card base, followed by the 5" x 3 3/4" piece, centered on top.

I then die cut four tags from the 6" x 6" Bella Besties Gingham & Stripes paper pad, each measuring approximately 2 1/4" x 4". I added ribbon to the tags and layered them on top of each other using foam adhesive for added dimension.

For the first card, I trimmed a 3" x 4" St. Patrick's Day card down to 2 1/2" x 2 3/4". I completed this card by adding an epoxy heart and some ephemera.

For the second card, I also used two tags, but one was smaller, measuring 1 3/4" x 3". I tied them together with ribbons and added a Bella Pops Leprechaun, some enamel dots, and the "Lucky to Have You" ephemera.

Cheers Mini Layout | My Life 365 March | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara here with a cute little project featuring the My Life 365 March products! At the end of last year I made this amazing mini album with all of the fabulous My Life 365 products and this mini scrapbook page was perfect to highlight my March section!

I had these fun photos from a trip to the Hofbräuhaus in Munich and I knew they would pair beautifully with the beer and cheers ephemera from the March products of this collection! Since I was working with a smaller page, I made the photos small as well and then placed them on my page in two vertical rows. I also used the Bella Besties Gingham and Stripes papers in coordinating green, yellow and orange.

Once I had my photos in place, I layered on a fun polka dot pattern from the March border paper along with strips of the gingham patterns and then several pieces of the March ephemera icons and words. I also added some tiny flower puffy stickers and tucked in some shiny green epoxy hearts!

Eyes on the Horizon with the March Bits of the My Life 365 Collection

Hiya scrappy friends! It's your LUCKY day as it's Suzanna here today to share with you a St Paddy's Day layout created with horizontal stripes and the March bits of the My Life 365 collection. For a little added color, I used coordinating colors from the Gingham & Stripes Bella Besties!

Let's take a look at the finished layout;

Stripes were cut from the March paper stripes as well as some created from the Luck of the Irish Paper and the Orange and Bell Pepper Gingham & Stripes. Various sizes are used for visual interest along with consideration of all the busy patterns and variation of color. My sewing machine was used for some different types of zig zag and straight stitching to add more contrast and black to these stripes. Additionally, I pulled up a couple of the edges to create shadow on the page.

The photos I used are a triptych vertical collage of my daughter and her natural food coloring cupcake in her St Patrick's Day green! I matted the photo with some of the Guacamole Stripes and used the thin strip of torn Gingham (just flipped over the Stripes) and put that at the top. Various ephemera words and bits, the March Bella-Pop (a red headed leprachuan, how cute) and the fussy cut rainbow with Lucky Day phrase adorn the page.

Beside the photos for more decor are two of the tags from the March page. I added orange bakers twine from my stash to one of the tags and some ephemera to the black tag for a little more yellow, probably the least dominant color in the collection.

Don't be afraid to create your own embellishments by fussy cutting elements as I did this Lucky Day rainbow. And layering, I love to layer, it adds a more personal touch to the same things everybody else has and uses. For this "cluster" I added a shamrock and the orange Smile phrase. Simple but enough.

My Life 365 Collection | St. Patrick's Day Card Inspiration

 

Welcome Bella friends. Today it is all about St. Patricks day and the Bella Blvd My Life 365 collection has the cutest March set that is part of the My Life 365 collection. There is a set for each month celebrating the season. Create those memories by creating a scrapbook page or send someone a card celebrating the season. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size. 

 

Die cut or machine cut an A2 scalloped rectangle on the Bella Besties Gingham & Stripes (pink). Adhere that panel to your card base using liquid glue.

 

Die cut or machine cut a 3 inch oval on the Bella Besties Gingham & Stripes (pink) and add some foam tape to the back and add it to the center of your card. 

 

 

Pick out the MARCH and the shamrock with the sentiment from the Ephemera Words. Add some foam tape to the back of the ARC of the March and add it to the lower half of the oval. 

 

Add the Leprechaun Bella-pop to the upper part of the March using foam tape. It is already sticky, but because I am overlapping the Leprechaun over the March it gives help's to line them up. 

 

Add some foam tape to the back of the 4 leaf clover and add it just outside of the oval but touching the oval. 

 

Finishing with a few of those fun March dots from the All Year Long Puffy Stickers. 

 

 

That leprechaun just makes me happy. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut an A2 rectangle frame of the Bella Besties Gingham & Stripes (green) and adhere it to the card using liquid glue.

 

Cut a 3 inch rectangle on the Luck of the Irish paper and add some foam tape to the back and add it to the center of the card. 

 

Die cut or machine cut a 2 1/2 inch tag on the Gingham & Stripes (yellow). The tag can have a design on it like mine of it can be solid. It will look fabulous no matter what you pick for your tag. Add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to the center of the card.

 

 

Pick out the Leprechaun and 4 leaf clover from the Ephemera Icons and the sentiment from the Ephemera Words. 

 

Add some foam tape to the back of all images and add them to the center of the tag. Add the sentiment to the bottom of the tag. 

 

Add one of the pretty flowers from the All Year Long Puffy Stickers.

Valentine's Day Fun with Bella Blvd My Life 365 Collection | Erica Thompson

Erica here, and I’m back with another layout featuring the Bella Blvd My Life 365 collection. For this project, I focused on the February products to create a fun Valentine-themed layout documenting Liam’s excitement over his box of chocolates. I loved playing with pinks, blacks, and whites to create a playful yet clean design.

 

 

I started with a piece of white textured cardstock, trimming it down slightly to create a layered look. To give it a finished touch, I used a black pen to hand-draw a simple frame around the edges of the cardstock. Next, I matted the white cardstock on three layers of patterned paper—two from Bella Besties and one from the My Life 365 collection. These layers add depth and color, creating a solid foundation for the layout.

 

 

Using leftover strips of patterned paper from previous layouts, I created a vertical cluster on the left side of the page. I distressed the edges of these strips for added texture and dimension, then layered and adhered them to the page. To add interest, I tucked in a scalloped border sticker, along with some tab die cuts from the My Life 365 collection.

 

 

For the photos, I created a 4x4 grid featuring four black-and-white photos of Liam. The black-and-white work beautifully with the pops of pink and red in the layout. I matted the photos on a mix of patterned papers from the My Life 365 collection and Bella Besties, making sure to layer colors and patterns that helped the photos stand out. I then adhered the photo grid slightly to the right of the vertical paper cluster.

 

 

I added a sticker to the top right corner of the photo mat. To the right of the photos, I created a cluster of embellishments using chipboard, die cuts, and stickers from the My Life 365 collection. I used foam adhesive to pop up some of these elements, adding fun dimension and making the cluster stand out. To bring extra shine and texture to the page, I incorporated epoxy stickers and enamel dots, which I scattered around the layout.

 

 

To complete the layout, I added journaling at the bottom of the embellishment cluster, documenting Liam’s excitement over his Valentine’s chocolates. I’m so happy with how this layout turned out! The mix of pinks, blacks, and whites makes for a fresh and fun Valentine-themed page. And yes, pink works wonderfully on layouts for boys—don’t be afraid to use it!

Hello Scrapbook Layout | My Life 365 | Inessa Persekian

Hey friends!

For this Designer Choice Challenge, I created a layout featuring a favorite photo of my youngest son. I chose a black-and-white photo to complement the vibrant colors in the My Life 365 February collection without clashing. Here's how I brought it all together!

I started with the Bella Besties Punch Gingham and Stripes paper, which coordinates perfectly with all the collections. Then, I trimmed a piece of white textured cardstock to 11 x 11" and layered it on top, creating a clean base.

The layout features three sections:

• The center holds a 3 x 4 photo of my son, matted with a piece of February-themed paper from the collection.
• On either side, I used two cut-aparts: one with a floating heart balloon and the other with a typewriter.

To bring the design to life, I added fun embellishments:

• I enhanced the floating heart with a Bella Pop balloon heart and layered a heart sticker over the typewriter cut-apart that reads "Love."
• Two corners of the cut aparts feature stickers from the Doohickey sticker sheet.

For the title, I used the Ciao Chip "Hello" chipboard piece, accented with a mix of hearts and enamel dots. Below the title, I added journaling strips that highlight Nicolas's personality and a few memorable details about him at this point in time.

At the top, I created a playful banner using various punches and hand-cut pieces layered over pink-and-white twine. To finish it off, I added epoxy hearts and a tiny "XOXO" banner fussy-cut from a 3 x 4 cut-apart.

I love how this layout came together—it's full of texture, dimension, and personality, just like the collection! I hope it inspires you to try something similar with your February products.

Heart Day Layout | My Life 365 February | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara here with Secretbees Studio and some Valentines Day inspiration! The Bella Blvd My Life 365 collection has papers, stickers and ephemera for every month of the year and February is all about hearts and love!

Of course for Valentines Day, I wanted to make a large heart for my layout and I wanted to give it a lot of visual interest. I combined 1/2" strips from all of the different patterned papers in the February collection, including all of the border strips on the cut-apart paper, with strips cut from all of the pink and red patterns of the Bella Besties collection and wove them together in a super cool montage! To add even more texture, I arched some sections of the strips before securing everything and cutting it in this large heart shape.

My woven heart was adhered to a stitched background of pink card stock and another pattern from the collection. Hopefully no one notices that iI put my heart on in the wrong direction, haha! I added only one picture to keep this beautiful heart the center of attention and then layered on all of the sweet embellishments from the February products!

The tiny Bella Blvd matte dots are from a few years ago but I had a large stash and knew they would be the perfect accent to the heart! I added a word tab to my photo along with a charming rainbow icon and shiny heart sticker. I love the effect of the large ephemera word and the single heart icon at the bottom of the photo!

Love You | Bella Blvd My Life 365 | Erica Thompson

Erica here, and I’m back with another adorable layout featuring the Bella Blvd My Life 365 collection, using primarily the February products. For this 12x12 layout, I wanted to showcase the sweet Valentine spirit with pops of pink, fun embellishments, and two super cute photos of our Red Nose Pitbull, Lola Bean, lounging on her Valentine themed pillows.

 

 

I started with a 12x12 white cardstock base, matting it onto a bold pink patterned paper from the Bella Besties collection to give the layout a colorful frame. To add a fun design element, I used a rainbow cut file as the focal design of the page. I backed each of the rainbows with Bella Besties 6x6 patterned paper in varying shades of pink, letting the bright colors pop against the white background. For the photos, I used two snapshots of Loa Bean relaxing with her Valentine pillows. To make them stand out, I matted the photos on Bella Besties 6x6 patterned paper and layered them on additional papers from the My Life 365 collection.

 

 

Once the photos were adhered down, I began adding embellishments. I tucked a fun tab die cut at the top of the right photo for extra detail. Then, I created two embellishment clusters one to the left of the photos and another to the right. These clusters feature a mix of die cuts, stickers, and chipboard elements from the My Life 365 collection, along with puffy stickers from the Bella Besties line.

 

 

At the bottom of the photos, I created a layered title using two die cuts that spell out “Love You.” Below the title, I added some typed journaling strips to document Lola Beans sweet personality and her love for my camera (or her patience with it!). I used Bella Besties Letter Scramble alpha stickers to spell out “Lola Bean” in the bottom right corner of the layout. To complete the layout, I scattered a few additional embellishments, such as puffy hearts and stickers, around the page.

 

 

This layout was so much fun to create! I love how the rainbows and shades of pink from the My Life 365 and Bella Besties collections come together to highlight these adorable photos of Lola Bean. Valentine’s Day layouts aren’t just for people they can be perfect for documenting your furry friends too!
