One Fall Day Thanksgiving layout with Maree

Hi Bella Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Today I have a Thanksgiving layout to share with you using the fabulous One Fall Day collection.

I really wanted to focus on a big fun title so that is where I started with this layout. I decided to use a stencil in the background under where I wanted my title to be. I used Distress Oxides to ink the stencil. I used the colors Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn. Then I added the Thanksgiving word and Ciao Chip title.

 

I added some vertical, and some horizontal elements to this layout. I used a wider piece of the green paper called "Pick of the Patch" for the vertical and then near the bottom of the page I used some of the "Borders" paper horizontally for interest.

On top of the "Borders" paper I added a little leafy, floral cluster. I pulled out some of the cooking elements from the collection for this layout and I think they are just adorable. Look at those gorgeous, almost vintage looking dishes!

The little jam pot is from a Bella Pop and it is just so sweet and shiny! For my final cluster I used the stack of books with a cup of tea and of course a steaming pie.

My pics are older and were quite dark (even after editing!) so I used the beautiful rich red paper to back my photos and capture the mood of them. I distressed the edges and attached them a little offset.

I finished the page with a couple of the small word ephemera banners, including "Home is where the Heart is" and "Thankful". This is such a wonderful collection for documenting all your Thanksgiving memories.

Mood Board Week | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today and I'm super excited to share this layout I made using the gorgeous March Mood Board along with the You Are My Sunshine collection.  Here's my page:

I was immediately inspired by the top left square and decided to recreate that same watercolor rainbow look by spraying some Shimmerz Paints sprays onto a piece of thick white cardstock.  I went in rainbow order and sprayed each color and then brushed it down the page.  Super simple!

There's a super cute cloud right under the rainbow square, so I used the cloud Cut Outs from the Over The Rainbow Cut Outs pack.  I popped it up on foam tape and then for some extra sparkle, I applied some gold Stickles directly onto the clouds.  

For my title, I used one of the Ephemera Icons pieces and adhered it right on top of my photo.  I also matted my photo using a few of the patterned papers in the collection.  

When it was time to embellish, I did so by color blocking with more Ephemera Icons, Epoxy Stickers and the Fly Away Bella Pops.  

For some extra color and texture, I added some tangled thread in all of the colors and tucked in under the Cut Out.

Valentine's Week & Our Love Song | Brianna Lepper

Hey y'all!  Brianna Lepper here today sharing another layout using the super adorable Our Love Song collection.  It's Valentine's Day week and I'm sending you all love and hugs!  Here's my page: 

To start, I pulled out the You and Me Cut Outs and used a few of them as stencils.  I love using Cut Outs creatively and this is a technique that is so much fun!  I chose the "Love" and the two hearts Cut Outs and positioned them around my page.  I then took a few Shimmerz Paints sprays and sprayed them onto the Cut Outs and carefully lifted them off of my white cardstock.  I thought they looked so fun and really matched the vibe of this collection.

I didn't want to cover up a lot of my background so I took a few of the cut aparts from the Daily Elements paper and layered them behind my photo.  

For my title, I used a phrase from the Ephemera Words pack and added some Florence Alphas in black.  The pops of black in this collection makes me so happy!!  

Next, I layered the Hearts Cut Outs pieces that I had previously used and layered them in as embellishments.  

I added a few Doohickey Cardstock scalloped borders stickers and also sprinkled in a few of the Puffy Heart stickers.  I'm so happy with how this page turned out!

Our Love Song Week | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here and I'm so excited to share my first layout using the stunning Our Love Song collection.  I have a process video at the end of this post, so make sure to check it out!  Here's my page: 

The Bella striped patterned paper is one of my faves, so I just had to use some of it for the base of my layout.  I started with a piece of white textured cardstock and added some black paint with one of my wide paint brushes.  I love that this collection has pops of black along with the bright colors.  

The rest of the patterned papers in the collection are just too pretty not to use, so I trimmed out several of them and layered them behind my photo.  

I was completely inspired by one of the cut apart pieces on the Daily Details paper and decided to base my whole layout on it.  I made this layout about my oldest son, Noah and listed the five things that I love about him.  I trimmed out the pieces to the 4x6 card, popped them up on foam and arranged them under my photo.  I love how it turned out.  

Next, I added my title using one of the Ephemera Words and started embellishing using a few of the florals from that same pack.  I also added one of the tags and tied some yellow twine through it.

Here's one last look at this bright and fun page.  I added a few chipboard and puffy hearts to finish it off.

The North Pole Collection Week | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today sharing a new post using The North Pole Collection. I hope y'all had a great Christmas Holiday! Here's my page:

The stripe pattern on the December 25 paper is one of my favorites so I trimmed two 2"inch strips and adhered them to the left and right side of white cardstock. 

To add some extra color to the white cardstock, I took a stencil from my stash and ink blended a blue Distress Oxide ink pad right through it.  I then added a few scalloped border stickers from the Doohickey Cardstock Sticker sheet.  

I matted my photo with the A side of the same striped paper and adhere it right on top of the mixed media.  I created my title using one of the Ephemera Words and one of the phrases from the Ciao Chip Chipboard sticker sheet.  

Using a few of the Ephemera Icons and a Santa from the Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers, I created a few different clusters around the page.  The elements in this collection are just so cute!!

I filled in a few spots using some ephemera trees and a few snowflake pieces. They really add some extra pops of color!

The North Pole Collection- Borders & Daily Details! | Brianna

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper back with y'all today sharing my first layout using the new The North Pole collection.  I LOVE this collection so much!  It's so bright and happy and I had so much fun creating this page.  Make sure to check out the process video at the end of this post!

This week, we are focusing on the Daily Details and Borders 12x12 patterned papers and using them creatively. I thought it would be fun to have the border strips stacked on top of each other.  I've done similar designs in the past and love how so many different patterns can be on one page.  

I fussy cut a few of the sweaters from one of the border strips and also trimmed out a few phrases to use as ephemera pieces as well.  You should definitely not count these papers out!  They can be used in so many different ways.  

The Daily Details paper has a 3x4 card with the cutest phrase, so I fussy cut it out and used it as my title.  It came out so perfect!  I popped it up on foam tape and adhered it right under my photo.  

I created a colorful mixed media background using some Shimmerz Paints from my stash and I love how all of the different border strips look on top of it.  All of these colors make me so happy!

I matted my photo with the B side of the Borders paper and layered a tag from the Ephemera Words pack.  I embellished using a few Ephemera pieces as well! 

Next, I added in some tangled thread and sprinkled in a few Puffy Stickers.

Thanksgiving & Cut Outs Week Day 1 | Brianna

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today sharing a new layout during Thanksgiving Week!  I hope you all are having a great day so far,  I know I am!  There is so much to be thankful for and I thought it would be fun to document some photos of our furry babies wearing their Fall bandanas.  They are all so special in our family and they keep me company all day every day!  This week we are focusing on using Cut Outs and I chose to work with the Mood Booster one.  Here's my page: 

I love this Cut Out as is and didn't want to back it so I chose to spruce it up by spraying on some Shimmerz Paints from my stash.  I chose to work with the Cooper collection so I chose colors that matched really well with it.  Once it was finished drying, I adhered it to the ombre side of the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre patterned paper in Pony.  The brown really made it feel even more Fall themed and I love how the colors look on top of it!

Here's another shot of this super fun Cut Out.  If you're not familiar with Cut Outs, they are pre-cut cut files that include templates and instructions on how to back each one.  Most packages have several included so that you're able to create a few projects with only one pack.  Super convenient if you are in a time crunch or if you're traveling!

Next, I matted my photo using a few papers from the collection and popped it up on foam tape.  I adhered it down and added a green Cute Clip to the top of it.  Look how cute my babies are!

For my title, I used the Gratitude Acrylic Word and added onto it using the Aria Alphas in White.  I centered it under my photo cluster and love how it turned out.  

To embellish, I started with the Pups Bella Pops and adhered the cute dog faces around my title.  

I worked in a few Heart Hugs, Ciao Chip Chipboard Stickers, Ephemera and Doohickey Cardstock Stickers as well.  I love tucking and layering!

For a few finishing touches, I adhered a few of the Epoxy Hearts from the collection and splattered some white paint to bring everything together.

School Is Cool - Rachel O'Neal

Hi friends! I'm back with another School Is Cool layout. I mentioned before how much I loved the pennant flags that come in the Ephemera Icons pack. There are ones for each grade Kindergarten - 6th! So I thought it would be fun to go back and reprint "First Day" photos for my Carter and create a layout that had all of them on one page using those pennants. Can't believe how fast the years are flying by! Here's what I came up with:

 

 

I started with a white 12" x 12" cardstock background and used my Distress Oxide pad in Fossilized Amber to create a yellow background. While it was drying, I worked on the Smarty Pants Cut Out set that comes with this collection. It has several great titles, but I chose to go with "the Best Day ever" cut out. I actually removed the word "the" and backed the rest with the Supply List patterned paper. Each Cut Out set comes with a pattern that you can use on your paper of choice to get just the correct size for backing the cutouts. They are so easy to use. Once my background was dry, I added the cutout to the bottom of the layout with foam tape. 

 

 

Next, I took each of my photos and layered them with white cardstock, Bella Blvd Besties paper in McIntosh Graph, and also the 12" x 12" School Supplies patterned paper. Once the papers were secured, I went ahead and added them to the layout with foam tape as well. 

 

 

Now it was time to add the embellishments and those cute pennants. I wanted to be intentional about which embellishments I used for each grade. I wanted them to be grade appropriate. I love how there are a variety of choices in both the Ephemera Icons and the Ephemera Words packs. The math flash cards are a perfect example of that. There is a piece with a basic combination (9+7) and one for older grades as well (23+5). So many to choose from.

 

 

I finished the layout by stamping a little including the dates for each of the photos, and then added a few black hearts from the Florence Alpha sticker sheet. This is such a fun and special layout. I hope you like it. Here's a list of everything I used:

School Is Cool Week | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today sharing a fun layout using the new School Is Cool collection.  I paired it with the Ready Set Learn cut file and love how it turned out.  

To start, I cut the cut file out twice.  The first time, I cut the entire piece out on white textured cardstock.  When I went to cut it again, I only cut the background out and cut it on a piece of the Supply List paper.  I took the letter pieces from the first cut and adhered them down right on top of the background.  It really made the letters pop!

I wanted some stars to peek behind my large cut file, so I did some ink blending using a star stencil from my stash and added some silver Stickles to a few of my stars. I popped up the cut file on foam tape and adhered it down to the center of my page.

For even more color,  I trimmed down a few strips of the Coloring 12x12 paper and adhered it to the top and bottom of my page.  I just love those colorful stripes!  This week we were prompted to use 3+ photos on our projects and I added four.  They are the first and last days of school photos of my kids and I just love seeing how much they change in a school year.  

After arranging my photos to the top and bottom of my cut file, I started embellishing using some of the Ciao Chip Chipboard and Doohickey Cardstock stickers.  

The Wise Owl Bella Bop was the cutest addition!

Next, I added in a few Ephemera pieces, some Puffy Stickers and tangled thread.

Hello Summer | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today sharing a fun Summer layout using the You Are My Sunshine collection.  This collection makes me so happy and the color palette is just stunning.  Here's my layout: 

I wanted to use a Cut Out for this page so I chose the Mood Booster one.  Instead of backing it the traditional way, I wanted to paint it using some Shimmerz sprays from my stash.  So I sprayed them on my glass mat and smooshed the entire Cut Out into the colors.  I chose colors that were bright and happy, just like this collection.

After it was completely dry, I adhered it to the B side of the Daily Details paper.  I loved the black polka dots!  To add extra color, I trimmed off two 1-inch strips of the Shine Bright paper, distressed the edges and adhered it to the left and right side of my page.  

Next, I matted my photo using a few papers from the collection and layered some border stickers (both Ciao Chip and Doohickey Cardstock stickers) underneath my photo towards the bottom.  This created a shelf for my title.  I made it using a phrase from the Ciao Chip sticker sheet as well as some Aria Alphas in Guacamole, Orange and Ice.

Here's my photo.. It's so hot right now in Louisiana so we are spending A LOT of time outside in our pool!!

I embellished using some of the Ephemera and added in some Epoxy and Trinkets Puffy stickers.  The bees are so cute!

I am loving the layered and all of the texture and dimension on this page.  It's so bright and happy!

Cut Files + Time To Travel Week Day 2 | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna here today sharing a new layout focusing on some fabulous Bella cut files as well as the Time To Travel collection.  I've traveled quite a bit recently and have some great photos to document.  This one was from my recent trip back home to CA and I found the perfect cut files to use with it.  Here's my layout: 

 

 

The cut files I chose for my layout are the following: All Who Wander, Cloud Outline I, Cloud Outline II and Clouds.  I cut them all out on textured white cardstock.  For the 'All Who Wander' cut file, I did some ombre ink blending using the Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink pad and added some sparkle by brushing on some Nuvo Glimmer Paste.  I popped the whole thing up on foam tape and adhered it down to a piece of the Hearts & Ombre paper in Ice.

 

 

Next, I took some strips of the 12x12 Freeway paper from the collection and adhered them down to both sides.  I distressed the edges before I stuck them down.  I arranged a few of the cloud cut files around my page, making sure to only add glue to certain spots of each one, so that they could somewhat pop up and add some interest to the page.  

 

 

I built some embellishment clusters using some Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers and some Ephemera Icons.  

 

 

I matted my photo using the B side of the same Freeway paper and built some clusters on both sides of my photos.   I used more Ephemera Icons pieces and even added in a few Trinkets Puffy stickers.  

 

 

Here's another cluster and I also made sure to add some tangled thread in coordinating colors.
