Smile Layout using Just Because Collection

Hi crafty friend! This layout I'm sharing today was created with the gorgeous Just Because collection by Bella Blvd. When scrapbooking, I document special days like Christmas, birthdays, graduations, but also the everyday moments, which are my favorites. This time, I'm using photos of my daughter having fun in the park. It was a regular day, where we took some time to visit the park so she could play and use the swings. You can see the happiness in her face, something I love to capture in photos to scrapbook later. Now, let's take a closer look at the layout while I talk to you about it.

 

When I saw the Just Because collection, I knew I wanted to use the patterned paper with all the solid stripes, so this is how this layout started. After separating the colored stripes, I chose other patterned papers to create the background. Since the papers are very colorful, I chose white cardstock as my base to balance the layout and allow the papers to be seen. On the top area, I used a blue paper with birdhouses and singing birds, isn't it the cutest? Then, below it I added a strip of the thin colored stripes paper and a purple scalloped border from the sticker sheet.

 

To enhance the photo area, I mat the photos in yellow paper, to make them bright and to contrast with the pink paper that anchors them. After that, I chose two more patterned papers from the collection with neutral designs: dots and crisscross, in contrasting colors, and placed them horizontally to change the movement direction in the layout and help the viewer to focus on the photos. There, I added the title using a die cut from the Ephemera Words pack, backed with foam tape.

 

Since I love to add texture and dimension to my projects, I decided to roll the upper part of the paper strips. Then, I cut the bottom edge, some of them diagonally, and others were notched. I did it to make the page more fun and playful. Once the papers were ready, I started embellishing the layout using flowers, butterflies, and the cute hedgehog from the Bella Pops.

 

 

The Just Because collection includes a cut-apart paper that has a variety of stripes with different designs and phrases. From one of the stripes in the paper, I fussy cut the butterflies and some of the flowers.  I mixed them with the chipboards, die cut ephemera, puffy stickers, epoxy stickers, and cardstock stickers. For me is always fun to use products with different materials to create the cluster, making them more interesting.

 

 

At the end, I used Nuvo Glitter Drops in Blizzard White to enhance the butterflies.

Hey Crafty Friends!

Hello! It's Conny from The Daily Life of Creativity, and I'm excited to share another 12" x 12" layout featuring the Just Because Collection. This week, we are focusing on how to use two or more photos. This layout came together very quickly.

I began by cutting out a large "SIX" from white cardstock and positioned it about 3 ½ inches from the top of the page. I aimed to center it but decided to raise it slightly so I could place my photos at the bottom of the "SIX." After that, I trimmed the white cardstock to a size of 11 ½ inches.

For the background, I chose the Bella Blvd - Just Because Collection - 12 x 12 Double-Sided Paper in Fresh Flowers. I added zigzag stitching using my sewing machine, but if you don’t have a sewing machine, feel free to hand-stitch instead. I love the added texture from the stitching; it makes the "SIX" stand out more than if it were just adhered flat to the paper. I also sprinkled some distress inks from the bottom left to the top right of the layout to enhance the colors of the flowers in the background.

I printed four 3" x 2" photos and matted them on the Bella Blvd Just Because Collection 12 x 12 Double-Sided Paper in Cute Messengers, leaving about a 1/8" border all around. I added a border with a straight stitch using my sewing machine and placed my photos on foam adhesive. Under the photos, I added a "Life is Beautiful" sticker, a floral banner, and a scalloped border.

At the top of the layout, I included a large, beautiful title with a cluster of flowers on the left, made from foam stickers. I also used Bella-Pops for 3D butterflies and sprinkled epoxy flowers all around to complete the look. We can't wait to see your projects using the Just Because Collection!

You're Lovely | Just Because Collection | Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm sharing a sweet layout featuring the Just Because collection. I documented a few photos of my daughter playing at the park. The weather is finally starting to warm up where we live and it's been so nice to spend our mornings outside! Here's my page: 

 

To start, I chose a piece of white cardstock as my background and added some simple ink blending using a Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink pad. Since these photos were taken outside, I wanted it to resemble a little bit of the sky. I then trimmed down some strips of paper using the Homegrown Seeds, Bloomin' Beauties and Sing Me A Song papers. I layered them together and adhered them down on the right side of my page. 

I built a small embellishment cluster to the left of the papers using a few Ephemera Icon pieces. The bunny riding the bike is so cute and the colors in this collection are just stunning and so my style!

Next, I matted my photos using the Fresh Flowers paper and arranged them in the center of the paper strips. I chose two different phrases from the Ciao Chip Chipboard sticker sheet for my title and adhered one word above my photos and then the other one at the bottom. I love how they both pop off of the page!

I thought that the top portion of my layout needed something, so I trimmed a 1x12 strip of the Moments patterned paper and then flipped it over and matted it on the B side and trimmed it out. I added a large sun and cloud Ephemera piece and topped it with one of the butterfly Puffy Stickers. 

Next, I added in the adorable Flower Garden Bella Pop to the right of my title that's on top of my photos. I felt like I needed to fill in that space and it was the perfect addition!!

For some finishing touches, I added in a few more Puffy Stickers and one of the phrases from the Doohickey Cardstock sticker sheet. Here's one last look at this fun page:

Hi everyone! For this week's projects we were asked to create a layout with more than two photos using the pretty Just Because collection. Now I have been using six or more photos on many of my layouts over the past year as I was finding I had so many photos and just wasn't getting them all scrapped. So by adding more smaller sized photos I was able to get more events scrapped and it also helps me tell my story through more visual images! So this was the perfect assignment for me! 

I cut four strips of patterned papers in varying lengths and widths, and distressed the edges. Then I stuck these down to the left side of the layout slightly overlapping each one. 

Then I took my eight small square photos and created two vertical strips, mounting them using the pink side of the Cute Messengers paper. Then I stuck these down using foam pads on the top edges, keeping them stuck flat at the bottom edge. I added two pink photo corners from the Doohickey Stickers raised on foam pads. 

Next is the fun part... adding embellishments! I added a mix of elements from the Ciao Chip Stickers, Ephemera Icons, Ephemera Words, Puffy Stickers and Epoxy Stickers. I couldn't resist adding a cute bee and birdhouse from the Bella-pops Stickers! 

 

I added my one word title using the Luna Puffy Alphabet Stickers and of course added my journalling below that. 

Then I did add some white paint splatters over the embellishment clusters.

You Are Loved | Just Because | Erica Thompson

Hey friends! Erica here with you today sharing my first layout using the beautiful Just Because collection from Bella Blvd. 

I love that this collection can be used for so many different projects with different themes! I decided to document some of our daughters photos and showcase the pretty florals in this collection. 

I started out by cutting the Blossoms cut file with some white textured cardstock. Next I backed the file with pattern papers from the Bella Blvd. Just Because collection. Then I trimmed down a piece of textured white cardstock to 10.75x10.75 and matted it onto a couple different papers from the same collection.  

To adhere the backed cut file onto the layout I used some foam adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I placed the cut file in the center of the layout and then added my photos into 4 of the Blossom centers. I placed my title in the center blossom of the cut file and popped it up with foam adhesive. I added a couple of the floral pieces to the top and bottom to give it the look of a wreath. I embellished around the different blossoms of the cut file using Just Because ephemera and stickers. I just love how this layout turned out and this cut file is perfect for multi photo layouts!

Just Because Pocket Mini Album!

Hi everyone! Tara here with Secretbees Studio and I am sharing another fabulous mini album that I created with the bright and beautiful Just Because collection! This adorable mini has lots of pockets, a fold out page and even a photo flip and everything is adorned with the cute stickers, chipboard and ephemera of this collection!

 

Just look at all of the gorgeous layers of this mini album! There are so many pretty floral patterned papers in this collection and they all look so beautiful stacked together! Each different pattern represents a page or pocket of the album- so cute! The cover of the album is embellished with layers of ephemera, chipboard and shiny stickers and it has a little hidden pocket that is holding this pretty film strip! The colorful tab adorned with a puffy heart lets you know something is in there!

 

The first section of the album has a small corner pocket holding a group of tags and journal cards and the larger floral pocket holds a 4x6 card that was fussy cut and trimmed to fit! Pieces of the word ephemera pack decorate this pocket front and pullout with along with colorful floral stickers!

The pocket on this page does double duty with this sweet band that holds more decorative cards and inside, there is a fold out booklet just waiting for photos! I added another small tab to the booklet as well!

The last page opens up to reveal a large photo spot and a fabulous photo flip! I used more of the 3x4 cards for the fronts of the flip and the backs are embellished with epoxy flower stickers and word ephemera! Plus there is an adorable Bella pops birdhouse too!

Just Because: Floral Themed Handmade Cards

 

Welcome Bella friends... Annette Allen here with you today and I am all about those fresh flowers and Dancin' Daisies. That is on this beautiful Bella Blvd paper from the Just Because collection. So many fun cards that you can create with Bella Blvd collections and I love being able to share a little card inspiration with you all... So let's get started. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Die cut a scalloped square on the Blooming Beauties and adhere to the center of your card using liquid glue.

 

 

Cut a strip measuring 2 1/4 x 5 1/2 on the Blooming Beauties backer paper and adhere to the left side of the card using foam tape. 

 

Pick three of the flowers from the Just Because Ephemera Icons and adhere to the card using foam tape. Make sure to only add foam tape to the part that touches the peach and white polka dot designer paper. Try to speed them out evenly. 

 

Pick out the Bee and the butterfly also from the Just Because Ephemera Icons, add some foam tape to the back and adhere to the card. 

 

 

Pick a sentiment from the Just Because Ephemera Words and adhere it to the card using foam tape, 

 

 

Don't you just love all the dimension? I am all about it when creating cards. What do you think?

 

Next up we have another spring floral filled card using the Just Because collection. The possibilities are endless. I could not wait to use this adorable bunny riding the bike....

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Now we are using the Dancin' Daisies paper front and back. Cut 7 strips, 4 of the Dancin' Daisies and 3 of the yellow strips measuring 1/2 inch each. Adhere to the top of the card base using liquid glue, rotating the designs. 

 

Cut the Just Because Borders blue polka dot strip measuring 3/4 x 4 1/4 and adhere to the bottom of the card using liquid glue. 

 

 

Pick one of the sentiments from the Just Because Ephemera Words and adhere to the bottom of the card using liquid glue. Make sure to center the best you can. 

 

Pick out this adorable bunny and cloud from the Just Because Ephemera Icons. Add some foam tape to the back of the bunny and adhere to the bottom of the card just above the sentiment. Add liquid glue to the clouding adhere to the center of the top of the card. 

 

Finishing with that cool sun from the Just Because Ciao Chip. I added foam tape to the back to add a little more dimension. 

 

Don't you just love that cute little bunny? This collection is so fun to create with.

Flower Themed Page with Just Because

Hi friends! Today, I’m excited to share a new layout featuring my young daughters playing together. This page was not only a joy to create but also a fun opportunity to try something new. I hope this post will inspire you to get creative and try out new techniques in your own scrapbooking projects.

For this layout, I decided to switch things up by cutting my white space in half to create two columns to work with. This approach gave the page a fresh and structured look, making it easy to organize my elements. I placed two square photos at the opposite ends of each column, which created a balanced and visually appealing design.

To add some interest, I created fun complementary clusters at the opposite ends of the columns. This simple technique made the page come together in a snap! I also added some black stitching and handwriting to keep it personal and to give the page a handmade feel.

One of my favorite parts of this layout was cutting up words from a border, mounting them on foam adhesive tape, and arranging them around a rainbow die cut. This added dimension and a playful touch to the page, making it even more special.

Use A Large Title On A Scrapbook Layout l Kirei Baldwin

Hi everyone! Why not make a feature of a large title on your next scrapbook layout! I'm using the 'You are Loved' title from the Bloom & Grow Cut-Outs in the Just Because collection to go with this photo of my mum and I in March this year when I was back in Australia visiting them for their 60th wedding anniversary!

I cut the three 'You Are loved' words apart due to the way I wanted to place them on my layout. Then backfilled the 'You Are' with the pink dot patterned paper, raised on foam pads. 

I decided to back the 'loved' using layers of fringed papers. To do this I cut 12" x 1½" strips from different coloured papers as I wanted to create a rainbow effect. Then I added fringing to each strip, I did it the easy way with a pair of fringing scissors though you could of course just cut the fringes individually. My fringing scissors are actually herb scissors and were a lot cheaper! Then I stuck the strips down onto a piece of white card, layering them up over each other. The back of the fringing will need to be covered with adhesive leaving just the very tips free, otherwise when it is cut out individual fringes will just fall off.... I learnt the hard way!

Stick the title onto the layout, tucking the photo (mounted on lilac patterned paper) just behind some of the letters. 

Then I added a 3" x 12" strip of striped patterned paper across the bottom of the layout, this echoes the stripes in the 'loved' title. Next is my favourite bit, adding the embellishments! I used flowers, leaves, a rainbow, hearts, bows and a tag from the coordinating embellishments. Some are raised on foam pads to add dimension. And I couldn't resist adding some of the cute bees and flowers from the Bella-pops!

You Are Loved - Just Because Collection | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and this week, the Bella Blvd CT is focusing on the Cut Outs from the Just Because collection.  We are also creating projects that feature our female loved ones. I have a lot of them in my life so while it was hard to narrow down, I thought it would be great to document a photo of me and two of my sisters.  Here's my layout:

To start, I chose the 'You Are Loved' Cut Out that coordinates with this collection and backed the first few words using a few of the 12x12 Patterned Papers.  For a bit of something extra, I took a piece of white cardstock from my stash and sprayed it using various sprays from Shimmerz Paints.  Once it finished drying, I traced the 'Loved' portion of the Cut Out and then cut it out. I made sure to cut beyond the traced lines that way it would back the Cut Out fully.  

Once I had the 'loved' portion fully adhered, I added some white dots using some white gesso and the end of an embossing stylus tool. 

I popped the entire Cut Out up on foam tape and then adhered it to the Cute Messengers 12x12 Patterned Paper. I also added a few strips of white cardstock to the top and bottom.

Next, I matted and adhered my photo and then started to embellish using the Ephemera Icons and Ephemera Words. Those bows and the birdhouse are so cute!

To finish off this page, I added some tangled thread and then splattered a bit of white paint around the entire layout.

Just Because Daily Details and Borders to Create a Grid Layout

Friends, that has been the theme of this week's projects on Bella Blvd; human friends, BBF, furry friends, etc. Suzanna here today to share with you a grid based layout featuring my feline friend! Did you know that the Daily Details and Borders patterned papers from Bella Blvd collections are perfect for grid layouts? Read on to see how I used these goodies to create the above layout.

There are 4 cut aparts from the Daily Details patterned paper on this page, can you find them all? The Love and Bloom paint swatches (one and two) are backed with coordinating B sides. The It's a Wonderful Day card is trimmed down a tad and again backed. I used the colors in the card as the basis for the layouts color palette. And finally, the card with the yellow bow, bottom row on the left has text underneath the photo. A partially fussy cut yellow box pops up over the photo while the border frames the photo. The cards can be used as they come or you can jazz them up.

Looking at the photo below, you can get a better view of how I created a card using a 3x4 cut out of a piece of the Borders patterned paper. The row of hearts above a piece of B side patterned paper and a row of flowers below create a create place for journaling. Embellish as needed. Simple! I'm all about journaling on my layouts. One of the many reasons I create is to tell the story. Your journaling does just that.

Two side by side, uncut Borders form the right hand edge of the layout, pulling all the colors together. Floral clusters on opposing corners of the layout move the viewers eye across the page and give an otherwise busy page some focus.

The multi color chipboard letters that say You're The Best from the Ciao Chipboard form another row of the grid that works with the vertical strips of the Borders. I contemplated using the purple Friends die cut and cutting the S off to create the title You're The Best Friend but it would have been a feat arranging that into the grid as I had already adhered everything. I also like the way that Friends closes some of that gap between the grid and borders.
