Summertime and Bella Besties | Maree

Hi Bella friends,

It's Maree back to share a cute summer layout with you using some awesome Bella Besties products and a Cut Out too!

I had some fun pool pictures of my daughter and her friend. I thought the Sunshine Cut Out was perfect for these pics. I decided to use the hearts Bella Besties papers because they are so cute.

I started with some Distress Inks and a sunburst stencil to make a rainbow design the same colors as the papers. The paper took the ink so nicely and it really frames the pics well.

I backed the Cut Out using various shades from the Bella Besties paper. I used the template included in the Cut Outs pack and it was amazing how quick this made it. I then used some tone on tone Bella Trinket Puffy stickers to embellish the completed Cut Out.

I pulled out a few bits and pieces from the Time to Travel collection to finish embellishing the page. I love that Ciao Chip camera! I then added my sub title using the Florence Alphas in Pink.

I added some white ink splatters to finish off the page. I think this turned out so fun. Have you pulled out your Bella Besties lately? They work for almost any layout idea!  Have a fabulous day.

Our Love Song Debut Week | Sarah

Hello, Bella friends! It's me, Sarah, hosting today's blog post. I can't believe that Valentine's Day is right around the corner?! I could have sworn that we just celebrated the New Year, hehe. Time flies when you're busy having fun and creating.

Anyway, today I'm sharing a layout using some of the fun, new Love Song collection!

Here's how I felt inspired:

As most of you already know, I love scrapping about my dogs. So why not use the Love Song collection to document these pet photos?!

"You're My Jam" really stood out in the icons pack, so I decided to use it for my title. Following the musical theme, I used the stereo Bella Pop to create a focal point on my layout. The musical notes come with the stereo, so I just sprinkled the notes around the stero to add more splashes of color.

Around my title, I added more die-cuts from the icons pack. There are a handful of bright flowers to choose from in the pack; I also love that there are more musical themed die-cuts such as guitars and records.

Lastly, I used Florence Alphabet stickers to add more color. I love that these stickers come in an assortment of colors that coordinate with all of the Bella Blvd collections. I repeated "WOOF" on my layout to emphasize the idea of a dog layout.

Our Love Song Debut Week! | Rachel O'Neal

Hi friends! I could not be more excited for this day. I have been dying to show you the newest Bella Blvd collection from the moment it landed on my door step. Say "hello" to Our Love Song! It's a bright and fun collection filled with a good helping of all things love. And as a girl born in the 80's, I love the nod to the past with roller skates, cassette tapes, and more. So let's dive in.

 

I started with a piece of Bella Besties Heart & Ombre paper in black. I cut out a large scallop pennant with my Cricut. Then I cut out a regular pennant just a little bit smaller so it would fit inside the scalloped one. This gorgeous mini rainbow stripe paper is called Volume Up. I put them together with tape runner and then drew some black lines around the pennant and stamped some stitches too! I added the pennant to the left side of a piece of 12" x 12" white cardstock.

 

Next, I set out to work with my photos. They are 2" x 2" and backed with white cardstock and then more layers with patterned paper from the collection - Soundtrack and XOXO. I added some doodleing and stamping to that as well before placing it on the pennant with foam tape. I love to use foam tape to add photos to the layout. It gives it dimension and makes it easy to tuck ephemera and chipboard around them.

I decided to really go with the musical theme for this layout. I just adore the juke boxes, cassette tapes, and boom boxes. I added all sorts of pieces from the Ephemera Icons set, Ciao Chip, Epoxy Stickers, and Puffy Stickers. I took turns stamping and adding layers with all the embellishments.

I finished the layout by adding my title with the Florence Alphas in black. "You Are My Jam!" could not be more fitting for this collection. This is just my first layout, but I can't wait to dive in and play with Our Love Song even more. Here's a list of what I used to create this layout:

The North Pole + Bella Besties | Rachel O'Neal

Hello Bella Blvd friends! It's Rachel on the blog today and I've got the cutest sweater wreath to show you. My boys have a few Christmas sweaters and in the month of December they wear them as much as possible. When I saw all the sweaters in The North Pole collection, I knew I needed to make a layout with as many of them as possible. I actually think I may have managed to use them all. 

I started by creating my wreath with the Bella Besties Heart paper in Pickle Juice. I used this free cut file Holiday Berry Wreath from the Paper Issues shop. Click on the link to download. I cut it out twice to give an extra layer of fullness. I stamped some black lines on the branches of the wreath to give it some dimension. Then I adhered them both to a piece of white 12" x 12" cardstock.

 

Now it was time to start embellishing the wreath. I got out all the sweaters, mittens, and knitted hats from the Ephemera Icons and added them around the wreath with some foam tape. I also added some red flowers from the Ciao Chip, Puffy Stickers, and Epoxy Stickers.

Before adding my photo to the wreath, I backed it with some patterned paper layers from the Jammies paper as well as the Daily Details paper. In the middle of the wreath, I added my title using the Bella Besties Florence Alphas in Black. These are my all-time favorite alphas in the whole world! Underneath the title I stamped some stiches along with the date. 

To finish the layout, I stamped a few more little bits scattered around the wreath and added some tiny stickers from the epoxy sheet. These little details make it look complete!

North Pole + Bella Besties | Sarah

Hello to all Bella friends! It's me, Sarah, hosting today's blog post, and I'm excited to be back today with a my latest 12x12 layout inspired by the North Pole collection.

I felt inspired to create a wintery layout. Here's what I created:

I wanted to make it a photo-centric layout, so I kept my design clean and simple. I used three photos and embellished around it with Ephemera Icons and Bella Besties alphabet cardstock stickers.

How adorable is that snowman though?! I love that every Ephemera Icons pack is loaded with cute graphics. In the North Pole collection, there's snowmen, Santas, reindeers, presents, just to name a few. I also appreciate that there's embellishments catered to create just a wintery/snow play date project without it being Christmas-themed.

I scattered various snowflake die cuts from the Ephemera Icons on my layout. I jazzed up my project with puffy stickers. 

Also, did you happen to notice how I dated my layout?! I remembered that Bella Besties work well with every Bella paper collection. I used some of the coordinating Florence alphabet stickers to fill in some of the white space on this layout. When in doubt, use Bella Bestie stickers and papers to finish off your projects!

I also love that Bella Blvd has an Ephemera Words embellishment pack that is loaded with various titles and phrases that can be used on all types of projects. I found "Winter" and "Wonderland" in the Ephemera Words die-cuts and layered them to create a title.

The North Pole Collection + Bella Besties | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today with another layout using The North Pole collection along with some Bella Besties.  Here's my layout: 

Our prompt this week was to create a winter layout so I took a few of the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre papers in Blueberry, White and Peep and punched some snowflakes out using my paper punches.  I layered them together to create fun little clusters.  

Here's another look at the fun snowflakes.  I added some white hearts from the Trinkets Puffy Stickers right to the centers of each one.  

I took another Hearts & Ombre paper in Punch and used the ombre side as my base.  I then layered a patterned paper from the collection on top and then layered the ombre side of Ice right on top of that.  I matted my photo and adhered it to the center of my layout and arranged the snowflake clusters around it.  

For my title, I used the Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers along with the Florence Alphas in white and added it right under my photo.  

To embellish, I used the Ephemera Icons, Doohickey Cardstock stickers, Puffy stickers and a few Ciao Chip stickers.  

Here's one more shot of my winter layout.  I LOVE how all of the Bella Besties go with every Bella collection so perfectly!

The North Pole + Cut Outs | Rachel O'Neal

Happy New Year friends! January may be here, but I'm still working through all our Christmas photos and getting the fun moments documented. Today, I'm showing you how I used The North Pole collection with one of the Christmas themed Cut Outs. I love my Cricut, but nothing is easier to use than the Bella Blvd Cut Outs to get that cutting machine look on your layouts. Here's the layout I created:

 

 

Santa!!! We love our yearly visit to see Santa at Bass Pro. As I flipped through the papers in the collection, I stopped as soon as I saw the Here Comes Santa patterned paper! It's absolutely adorable and perfect for my background. I choose the December Cut Out and used the back side of another sheet of the Here Comes Santa to get red with white dots for the Cut Out. After I cut out each letter and added it to the Cut Out, I used foam tape to adhere the Cut Out to the layout. Then I stamped some x's around the straight parts of some of the letters.

Behind my photo, I added a couple layers of patterned paper cut to size - The Perfect Tree and Jammies. Now it was time to embellish. I got the "traditions" title from the Ephemera Words pack. For the rest of my title above and below the photo, I used my very favorite Florence Alphas in black.

 

I added little clusters of embellishments focusing on Santa and his reindeer along with some Christmas trees, presents and holly. All of these came from the Ciao Chipboard and the Ephemera Icons set. They are just adorable and you can't help but smile when you see them! 

 

To finish the layout, I stamped the date and added a few more stitches around my title. I couldn't love this collection more! I hope you feel inspired to use it and get your Christmas memories documented. Thanks for stopping by!

The North Pole | Rachel O'Neal

Hello Bella friends! What an awesome scrappy year it has been, and so hard to believe we have entered the Christmas season! How is this even possible? I'm so excited to be on the blog today showing you my first layout using the new The North Pole collection. Check it out:

It's just so festive, isn't it?! So, let's talk! I started with a white piece of 12" x 12" cardstock. I used the Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide pad to create a messy background. The pretty light blue color let's all the bright colors of the collection really stand out. While that dried, I took the 12" x 12" Borders paper from the collection and cut several of the borders into strips. I used these strips to create the scallops for the layout. To do this, I used my circle punches (1/2" and 1 1/2"). The strips are smaller than these punches, but I was able to cut out half circles with them. Once I punched them all out, I connected them together to make scallop borders. I needed to use both of the Borders papers to create all eight of them. Next, I added them to the layout in a zig-zag pattern. 

Next, I backed my photo with white cardstock and then cut up some of the 3" x 4" cards from the Daily Details paper to add more layers behind my photo. I wanted to arrange my title along the scallops so I did that before adding any embellishments. I used the black Florence alphas, of course! I also stamped some fun stitches too.

As for embellishments - the more the merrier! I used several pieces from the Ephemera Icons. I just love the snow globe! Around the edge of the layout, I used pieces from the Puffy Stickers and the Epoxy Stickers. To finish the layout, I stamped a few hearts and of course - the date. 

I can't wait to show you more. Just creating this layout has me wanting to create more with this adorable collection. Here's a list of the supplies I used:

Thanksgiving & Cut Outs Week Day 3 | Inessa

Hi friends,

Inessa here and I'm sharing a thanksgiving layout using papers from the Spell on You collection, Bella besties and the Heart Attack Cut-Out. I hope you can be inspired to use your holiday themed collections in multiple ways. Since Thanksgiving has an abundance of oranges and warm colors, I picked papers that worked with my theme. 

I backed the cut-out (which is a precut paper die cut) and backed with the following papers: Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre Orange (B side), Bella Besties Graph & Dots Black (used both sides), Bella Besties Graph & Dots Bell Pepper(used both sides), Spell on You Candy Dots (b side), Broomsticks (b side), Daily Details (b side), Happy Halloween (b side), Spell Caster (b side). 

 

I used about 3/4 of the cut out and adhered it to my background paper using foam adhesive for a dimensional look. The background paper is the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre in Orange. I then adhered my photo using foam adhesive as well. I added a cluster of hearts on the left side and a title using the Aria alpha puffy stickers in black and Florence alpha stickers in Orange. 

As a last step, I made the little turkey using the Turkey Friend cutfile downloaded from the Silhouette store. You can find it here.

I used the same mix of papers, adding in some cardstock, the white Graph & Dots and the Pony Hearts & Ombre to cut the various pieces.

Thankful + Bella Besties Week | Rachel O'Neal

Happy November Bella friends! This month is often a time of remembrance and gratitude. This week the Bella Blvd Creative Team has created layouts with a focus on thankfulness. We are using any of the Bella Blvd collections + Bella Besties products. Here's the layout I created:

 

Hands down my favorite Bella Besties product is always the Freehand Graph & Dot papers. I started by picking out six papers. Starting from the outside of the circle and working in the colors are: Punch, Peep, Orange, Pickle Juice, Ice, and Blueberry. I used the Circle Pile free cut file to create the circle layers. You can find it here. After cutting out the circles, I added them to a piece of white cardstock. I decided not to use the whole circle so I trimmed off the excess down the left side of the page.

I added my title next because I wanted to make sure it would fit around the edge of the circle before I started adding any embellishments. The black Florence alphas are a must. "My Greatest Blessings Call Me Mom." I couldn't be more thankful for the two boys God has given me, and being their mom is one of my greatest joys.

I backed my  3" x 4" photo with white cardstock and then added two more papers from the Let's Go On An Adventure collection. The striped paper is called Balloon Ride and the floral paper is called Morning Meadow. I added the photos to the Circle Pile with some foam tape. I like to use foam tape to get that layer some dimension and make it easy to tuck pieces of ephemera around it.

Next, I used a stitch stamp to add some black details around the circles. For the embellishing, I used a mix of pieces of Ephemera Icons from the Let's Go An Adventure and the Home Sweet Home collections. Many of the pieces coordinate perfectly. I also placed some Matte Enamels that matched with the Bella Besties papers around the circles. 

 

I finished the layout with a little journaling and a date stamp. I hope our layouts encourage you to document the things you have in your life which cause you to be thankful. Thanks you for stopping by the blog today. Here's a list of all the items I used to create this layout:

Spell On You + Puffy Stickers | Rachel

 

Hello scrappy friends! It's Rachel here, and I'm back with my second Spell On You layout. This week on the Bella Blvd blog we are focusing on using the puffy stickers - Fright Night. Check them out:

Aren't they the cutest?! I knew this would not be a hard task. I started with a piece of white cardstock for my background. Then I took the Spell Caster 12" x 12" striped paper and cut it down to 10" x 10". I drew a border and stamped some XXXs around it before adding it to the white cardstock background. In the middle, I added my photo and embellished it with some scallops from the Doohickey sticker sheet. One of my favorite pieces in the collection are the pumpkins. I love the variety of faces. I added a few of those from the Ephemera Icons and the Puffy Stickers to the side of my photo.

 

Next, I set out to use as many of those puffy stickers as possible. I started at the top with the "TIME FOR TREATS" title, and then worked my way around the page. I can't really pick a favorite so I decided to use them all - candy, pumpkins, haunted houses, and don't forget the cutest black kitty. Sprinkled in there I added some black Florence alphas too.

And that is it! A truly simple but fun layout thanks to the cutest puffy stickers. Here's a list of the items I used:
