Good Morning, Bella friends!
This is Melissa here with you today and I'm sharing a new project I created using the "SMILE" cutout. Every time I looked at these photos of my sweet niece, a big SMILE came over my face. She was thoroughly enjoying her ice-cream cone!
To start my project, I layered two pieces of card-stock on top of the 12x12 piece of pattern paper from the "Squeeze the Day" collection kit. This paper collection is one of my favorites with all of the bright fun colors! I stitched my pieces of card-stock down to the pattern paper using my sewing machine. Next, I started working on backing the Bella cut-out with smaller pieces of pattern paper from the Squeeze the day 6x6 Paper Pad. This may look like it's difficult to do; however, each cut-out comes with a diagram of the pieces that are included and makes it super easy to cut out the corresponding shapes needed.
I layered a bunch of different pattern papers and some vellum together as an anchor for my three photos and stitched those down. My photos went on top and then the "SMILE" cut-out went directly below it. I created a sub-title underneath the cut-out using the Florence Alphabet stickers in the color punch. I loved those hot pink letters against the lime-green card-stock!
Once the main elements of my layout were adhered down, I finished up my project using various embellishments from the Squeeze the Day collection: stickers, epoxy hearts, and epherma icons.
Thanks for stopping by the blog and taking a peek at this new project! Have a great week :-)
