Bella Besties I Heather Cerulo

Hello there and happy Leap Day! Today I am sharing a rainbow inspired layout using the lovely Bella Besties.  Have you seen the new line of Bella Bestie papers? Swoonworthy!

 

For this layout, I decided to make a rainbow chevron background.  Start by cutting 1.5" squares from the dotted side of the Bella Besties papers.  Next up, cut those squares diagonally to create triangles.  Finally, lay the pieces out to create a chevron! Fun and easy!  One last additional step is to add machine stitching through the chevron for some nice texture.

 

I used the Letter Scramble alphas for my title in Black and Guacamole, because of course "green" had to be in Guacamole...it's only right for Kermit the Frog!

 

 

To embellish, I used pieces from the Lake Life collection, including ephemera, Ciao Chip and Bella-Pops.  I created a cascade of flower from the top to the bottom of the layout.

 

 

The finishing touches were the Trinkets Puffy Stickers in matching colors.  I used the hearts to tuck around the clusters and to finish off my layout!

Making Memories | Teen Vibe Caitlyn Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara here with Secretbees Studio and I have the sweetest mini album to share with you that I created using the new Teen Vibe Caitlyn Collection! This collection has the most adorable ephemera and I was especially inspired by the super cute Instax camera that is part of the ephemera icons pack. I knew instantly that I wanted to create a mini album based on this camera!

I used a cut file that I found on Etsy and modified it to look like the ephemera camera. I cut the front pieces from all of the pretty patterned papers of the collection and mounted them on heavy card stock for stability and then layered more of the charming ephemera pieces on top. I tucked in and added a few shiny and colorful epoxy stickers as well!

The camera is 1.25 " wide which leaves plenty of room for lots of goodies to go inside! I made them in varying lengths so they could all peek out of the camera just a bit! Some of the pieces are frames and some are interactive and open up or flip to reveal photo spots! All in all this amazing mini can hold at least 20 photos!

The SVG file I used was just one piece and flat but I cut both a front and back cover and them made a long strip of card stock to connect the two. It was an easy project and just think of how many teenage girls you could make happy with a mini like this!

Teen Vibe Caitlyn | Card Inspiration | By: Annette Allen

 

Happy Tuesday Bella friends... Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing some fun card inspiration using the NEW Teen Vibe Caitlyn. This collection is full of girly fun and really brings out the little girl in me. From the patterned paper to all the embellishments... it is all so fun. SO, let's get started.

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Die cut or machine cut a rectangle on the new SASS paper. In the center die cut or machine cut an oval 2 1/2 inches. 

 

Cut a strip of the Skincare backer paper measuring 2 x 3 and adhere it to the center of the oval, glueing in the inside of the card. 

 

 

Add some foam tape to the back of your background and adhere it to your card base using foam tape. 

 

Pick out two of the floral images from the Caitlyn Ephemera Icons and adhere them to the center right of the oval using foam tape. Tuck the stems in the oval. 

 

Now let's add some of those black New Love Yourself Epoxy dots around the flowers. This adds a little shine. 

 

Finishing with a simple stamped sentiment, stamped on pink cardstock and adhering to your card. 

 

 

Don't you just love all those flowers and don't even get me started on that pink gingham pattern.

 

 

We are still enjoying those fun floral Ephemera on this card too. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut a decorative rectangle on the Caitlyn Too Cute backer paper measuring 4 x 5 1/4 and adhere it to your card in the center using liquid glue. 

 

Die cut or machine cut another decorative rectangle on the Caitlyn Skincare backer paper measuring 3 x 4 and adhere to the card using foam tape. 

 

Cut two strips measuring 1 x 1 on the black and white strips Borders paper and adhere to the center of the smaller rectangle using liquid glue. 

 

Die cut or machine cut a 2 1/2 inch oval on the SASS backer paper and adhere to the center of the card using foam tape. 

Pick out the floral image from the Caitlyn Ephemera Icons and adhere to the center of the oval using foam tape. 

 

I added three of the Big Heart Epoxy dots around the flower.

 

Finishing with a simple sentiment stamped on white cardstock and adding to the card. 

 

 

Two very simple cards filled with color and fun patterns. I can't wait to share with you more inspiration using the new Teen Vibes Caitlyn collection.

First Day Memories | School Is Cool Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara at Secretbees Studio here with a layout featuring my pretty little granddaughter on her first day of preschool last year! There are so many charming patterned papers in this collection and I picked a few of my favorites to highlight these photos of her and her proud family! 

I backed each of the smaller photos with a different paper design and then layered those along a strip of more of the delightful patterned paper. I added a strip of red polka dot paper under the distressed edge of the strip and repeated that under the left side of the layout as well. Along the right side of the layout I added the frames from the Ephemera Words pack and topped those with cute icons and epoxy school supply stickers. I added in bright flowers and small epoxy dots!

Around the main photo, I layered lots of embellishments from the Ephemera Words and Ephemera Icons packs along with a chipboard sticker and more of the shiny epoxy stickers! I just love the apple slices! The finishing touches were some more colorful flowers in the top left as well as some tucked underneath the long photo strip!

Summertime Layout | Tiny Tots Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara from Secretbees Studio here with a fun and colorful layout featuring the Tiny Tots 2.0 Collection along with the Bella Blvd 'Summertime Fun' cut file! The creative team was challenged to create a Summer Themed layout and I was inspired by this bright photo of my grandkids enjoying a summertime treat!

In this collection there is a fabulous rainbow stripe paper that I used to fill in the open letters of the cut-out. Then I trimmed just the word 'time' from green patterned paper and layered that over the original cut-out. Keeping with a rainbow theme, I stenciled in some large polka dots onto a grid background and also added in a rainbow scalloped chipboard sticker over my photo.

A small polka dotted tab was tucked under the photo and I added some foam adhesive to the cut-out before adhering it to the page. The pink popsicle Bella-Pop, along with its fun little drips, was a definite must for this layout and is layered on top of everything!

More of the super cute and colorful embellishments of the Tiny Tots 2.0 collection were layered around the photo including some sweet sentiments!  For more accent and shine, I added a diagonal variety of puffy and epoxy stars, hearts and tiny dots to the background!

Time to Travel: Card Inspiration

 

Welcome Bella friends.. Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a little travel fun. You can invite a friend or family member on a vaca with a fun homemade card using Bella Blvd: Time to Travel collection. 

 

 

Crate card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut a 1 3/4 x 5 1/2 strip of the Time to Travel Road Trip backer paper and adhere it to the left side of your card using liquid glue. 

 

Mix a little black ink with water and splatter the right side of the card and let dry completely.

 

 

Die cut, fussy cut or machine cut three circles measuring 2 1/2, 2  and 1 1/2 inch circles on the Time to Travel Photo Op, Back Roads backer Daily Details backer. Adhere them to the card using liquid glue and foam tape. Use the foam tape when layering the circles so it has a little dimension. 

 

Cut a 1 x 1 3/4 strip of the Time to Travel Road Trip backer paper and add to the medium circle using from tape. 

 

 

Pick out the ADVENTURE and LOVE sentiments from the Time to Travel Ephemera Words & Tags and adhere to the center of the card. See photo on how to layer. 

 

Finishing up with a couple of these pretty Time to Travel Getaway Epoxy stickers.

Cut an A2 panel of the Time to Travel Road Trip backer paper and adhere to the card base using liquid glue.

 

Die cut or machine cut a fun shape on the Time to Travel In The Clouds and adhere to the center of the card. 

 

Die cut or machine cut two scalloped circles and one circle 3 inches on the Time to Travel Road Trip backer, In The Clouds and In The Clouds backer. Adhere them all together using foam tape for dimension. 

 

Adhere your circle fun to the center of the card. 

 

Pick out this fun Plane from the Time to Travel Ciao Chip Board and adhere to the circle using foam tape.

 

Add one of those cute clouds from the Time to Travel Scenic Route Puffy Stickers.

 

Finishing with the sentiment from the Time to Travel Ephemera Words & Tags.

 

A travel invite with a card.... yes, please.

Up In The Sky | Time To Travel Collection | Brianna Lepper | Double Page Layout

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I've got a fun double page layout to share with y'all! I don't always make double page spreads, but when I do, I really enjoy it.  This week, the CT is working with the Time To Travel collection and I'm documenting a bunch of photos from my daughter's first airplane ride.  We are military and PCS'd from Louisiana to California and instead of driving, we shipped our cars and flew out here.  We flew first class (for the first time) and Annie did so well! Here's my page: 

To start, I took two pieces of white textured cardstock to use as a base. I then pulled out several of the 12x12 patterned papers and trimmed them down to strips that ranged from 3" inches, 2" inches, 1.5" inches and 1"inches. I ended up using the following papers: Love This Place!, Freeway, Road Trip and Back Roads. 

I layered all of the paper strips together and mirrored the layers on both pages.  I then matted my photos using another patterned paper and then arranged them on both pages.  I used one 4x4 photo, two 2x2 photos and four 2x3 photos. when I layered the photos together, they created some great spaces for my embellishments. I embellished using the Ephemera Icons and Words, Puffy Stickers and Epoxy Stickers.  I love all of the bold patterns and pretty embellishments. 

I love these two pages next to each other. This was such a big day for Annie and I'm so glad that I have these great photos from it.

The Jet Set Bella Pop was the perfect addition to this spread. 

Next, I went through the Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers and pulled in a few of the smaller elements.

Let's Scrapbook: Monochromatic Color Cards...

 

Welcome Bella friends.. Annette Allen here with you today and we are going Monochromatic with cards. This was so fun to create these two cards using the new Let's Scrapbook collection, mixed with a few other Bella goodies.. So let's get started.

 

 

YELLOW... what a happy color, Right? It is one of my most favorite colors and I think I got plenty of yellow on this card. 

 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut 4 1/2 inch strips of the Let's Scrapbook Tools Of The Trade backer.

 

Cut 8 1/2 inch strips of the Bella Besties Graph & Dot Bell Pepper paper. We are going to use the front and back of this paper. 

 

Using liquid glue we are going to create a basket weave on our card base. Start with the top first and adhere ONLY ON THE TOP of the paper to the card base. Fill the top but leave room in between each design. Now let's adhere starting on the left side only on the top part of the paper. Let the dry take hold before started to create your basket weave design. Rotate the designs until your card base is full and trim off access. 

 

Die cut or use a cut file to cut an open face scalloped circle on the Let's Scrapbook Tools Of The Trade backer paper. Add some foam tape to the back of the scalloped circle and adhere to your card. 

 

 

Finishing up with the sentiment created using the Let's Scrapbook Ciao Chip and the Bella Besties Letter Scramble Bell Pepper which I added to the center of the circle. 

 

 

Next up, we have gone teal...

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Die cut or use a cut file to cut 14 1 1/4 inch circles and 10 1inch circles on the Bella Blvd Let's Scrapbook Cut It Up backer paper and Bella Besties Graph & Dot Gulf paper (we will use front and back. 

 

On the 1 inch circles score the center of the circle and fold. 

 

On 10 of the 1 1/4 circles (mix it up) adhere the 1 inch circles to the larger circle, but only put glue on the center of the fold so you can flare it up for a little dimension. 

 

Adhere the circles to your card mixing up the designs. You will notice that the circles falling off the card do not have the smaller circle on them. Trim off access. 

 

 

Pick out the CRAFTY sentiment from the Let's Scrapbook Ephemera Words, add some foam tape to the back and adhere to the center of the card. 

 

Let's also add the sentiment FUN from the Let's Scrapbook Doohickey.

 

Finishing up with that sweet little teal heart from the Let's Scrapbook Epoxy Capture Color.

Happy Scrappy Weekend | Let's Scrapbook Collection | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and this week, the CT is sharing layouts that feature selfie photos using the Let's Scrapbook collection.  We are also focusing on the Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers!  I chose a photo that I had taken of myself with Paige Evans and Jamie Pate at the She Loves Color event in 2022.  Here's my page: 

I wanted a fun but simple mixed media background, so I took a few Shimmerz Paints sprays and sprayed a piece of textured white cardstock from my stash. I chose colors that matched the collection and spritzed them around the page.  I then took the I Love Scrapbooking 12x12 patterned paper and tore two pieces from it. I then adhered each piece to the top and bottom of my layout. 

I then matted my photo using the B side of the Color Lover patterned paper.  I also created an embellishment cluster to the bottom left corner of my photo using a few Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers as well as some Ephemera Icons.  That travel craft bag? So CUTE and it's perfect for this photo since I had to travel to this event!

Since we are focusing on the Ciao Chips, I used quite a few phrases from the sheet for my title. I wanted each letter to stand out a bit more, so I outlined one word and then added highlights using a white gel pen to the others.  

I then embellished the rest of the page using more Ephemera Icons, Ciao Chips and a few Doohickey Cardstock Stickers.

For some finishing touches, I sprinkled in a few Epoxy and Puffy stickers.  I love how bright and happy this page came out!

Hello, everyone. It's Yvette here today to share another layout using the "Let's Scrapbook" collection! I am documenting pictures of my guys and their computer projects for today's layout.

 

I selected the "Photo Taker" paper and cut out the center to use as my background. Then, I trimmed a 1-inch edge off two sides of white cardstock and adhered it to the top, creating a colorful border.

 

 

I found the vibrant colors of the "Kaleidoscope" paper very inspiring, so I incorporated it into the design of this lovely layout, capturing a special moment between my husband and my son! I cut the Kaleidoscope paper into 3x3 squares, folded and stapled them, then arranged them around the page to create a mesmerizing visual effect.

 

 

This week's assignment was a blast! It was all about the camera embellishments from the Let's Scrapbook collection. I had a great time using the beautiful and colorful cameras from the puffy sticker set 'Handmade.' They added a playful touch to my layout. I also incorporated some cute, small, colorful circles from the 'Capture Color' Epoxy. They were like little bursts of joy, tying everything together.

 

 

I placed my photos in the bottom right corner and then added my journaling to tell the story. To add a bit of fun movement, I included some Ephemera Words arrows around the page, creating visual elements.

 

For my page title, I used my Silhouette to cut out the words "Enjoy the Now" from the black gingham & stripes Bella Besties paper and placed it at the bottom of my layout. It added the perfect touch to my page!

Celebrating Fathers with Let's Scrapbook Cameras!

Hi everyone! It's Tara with Secretbees Studio! Father's Day will soon be here and what better way to celebrate the loved and special men in your life than with a beautiful layout! I have lots of great guys in my life but this layout is all about my hubby, aka Grandpa to three sweet grands!

My husband is a great grandpa and looooves his grandkids! He is always doing fun things with just them and, big plus for me, he loves to snap selfies while they are having great times! Bella Blvd challenged us to create a project with the Let's Scrapbook collection with a focus on the camera embellishments so this was a perfect combo! I started by splattering on some paint in colors that matched with the camera embellishments of the collection onto white cardstock. Then I cut camera strips from the 12x12 Photo Taker paper and placed them at different angles on my base.  

Each photo of my grandchildren is mounted on a different color of the Bella Besties Stripes 6x6 paper, and layered with a coordinating border sticker along with a strip of paper cut from the 12x12 Button Burst paper. I chose two camera embellishments for each section in complementing colors along with various other matching ephemera, enamel dots and puffy and epoxy stickers! Too cute!

I also added a sentiment for each child that color coordinates as well and used the smallest letters from the Bella Besties Letter Scramble for my title! The finishing touch are three small color coordinating tabs that I die cut and tucked in under the photos!
