Letter Scrambles + Our Love Song with Maree

Hi Bella friends,

Today I have a cute love themed layout to share. These are some special pics of my nieces and nephew with Grandad! I used the Our Love Song collection with some Letter Scrambles and also some stitched hearts that I sewed in the same colors as the collection. I am so happy with how it turned out!

 

I started my creating my stitched hearts in embroidery floss that I picked out to match the collection. I love the colors in Our Love Song. They are so bright and fun! Then I mounted them in a grid repeating pattern.

Next I mounted my pics on the pink paper called 'I love you' and added the Ciao Chip Love You title. Then I added the word Grandad from the Letter Scrambles in the color 'Ice'. It is so great to use the Letter Scrambles to personalize your pages.

Next I worked on embellishing the pics with some Ciao Chip, ephemera and gorgeous epoxy stickers.

I just love the sweet icons in this collection which work well for Valentines, relationships or simple family love. The papers I used in the background to anchor my work are: Green - 'XOXO', Stripe - 'Volume Up' and the white grid 'Soundtrack'.

I am really thrilled with how the layout turned out and really enjoy working with this lovely collection. I hope you have a chance to create with it soon!

Merry Little Christmas & Clear Cuts with Heather Cerulo

Hi friends! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday, and are spending time with loved ones this week! How about some more Merry Little Christmas inspiration?

 

 

This week, the creative team is using Merry Little Christmas paired up with the Clear Cuts Acetate Paper in this collection.  For my layout, I created a large vertical shaker pocket with the Clear Cuts Paper.  I filled it with some sequins from my stash that sprinkle freely!

 

 

Along either side of my large shaker pocket, I placed scalloped border stickers from the Doo Hickey cardstock stickers. To create a spot for my photos, I cut a large rectangle of patterned paper and placed my photos here, as well as a fun phrase from the Daily Details patterned paper.

 

 

Of course, I had to add some of the fun die cuts from both the ephemera icons and words packs! I tucked trees, presents from the puffy stickers, and the adorable Bella Pop Santa head around my title and photos.

 

 

Some final touches included machine stitching around the patterned papers and word phrase stickers.

Merry Little Christmas 3 Product Challenge with Maree Crozier

Hi Bella friends,

This week the Bella Creative team had a super fun challenge, to create with 3 new Bella products from the Merry Little Christmas Collection. The layout needed to included, Cut Outs, Puffy Stickers and Borders Paper. Here is what I came up with!

I love the Bella Borders paper, it makes it so easy to get lots of color and variety on the page all from one sheet of paper! I started by framing the page at the top and bottom with some border strips that I distressed all the edges of.

Then using puffy stickers I added some embellishments. Look at that cute little Santa!
I used three present stickers on the bottom of the layout and just adore the colors in this collection. The puffy stickers give such a gorgeous texture and shine to the page.

Next I used the Cut Outs. I picked the word Joy and the holly leaves. I filled them in with papers from the collection kit. The pink is so lovely!

Once I matted my photos and adhered them, I added the JOY title and added the word Christmas from the Puffy stickers on top. I think it adds a little interest when you layer products up.

My final touch to this layout is this gorgeous Bella Pop. It is just so adorable. The Bella Pop is called "Oh What Fun" and comes with two little red birds which I also positioned on the layout!

I loved making this layout. The Cut Outs make it so easy to create a fun layout easily. What 3 products do you reach for the most? Wishing you all a happy holiday season, I can't believe how fast Christmas comes around!

Merry Little Christmas and Letter Scramble with Maree Crozier

Hi Bella friends,

I had so much fun making this cute Christmas layout with the new Merry Little Christmas collection and personalizing the title with some fabulous Letter Scramble alphas.

I started with a cream card stock base as the ephemera from this collection has a cream undertone. I just adore the pinks and teals in this collection, they are so pretty.

As soon as I saw the paper called 'Filled with Joy' I knew I wanted to fussy cute those ornaments and make them a feature on this layout. I also fussy the holly from the 'Borders' paper to make a little mantel for them to hang from. I dug into my stash for a holly stamp to add a little more detail under the holly border.

After mounting my picture of my daughter and our two kitties I added my title using the 'Merry' from the words ephemera and the Catsmas (is that even a word?) using the Letter Scramble alphas in the color Guacamole. It is so fun to create titles with these gorgeous alphas.

Next I worked on positioning and mounting the fussy cut ornaments. I mounted them on foam squares and attached some bakers twine so they appear hanging. I tucked the top of the twine up under the holly border.

Next I added some trees from the ephemera icons pack and added some detail to them using the beautiful epoxy stickers. I just love the shine they add to the layout.

Finally I added the sweet sleigh from the icon ephemera pack and the Bella Pop called 'Christmas Cheer'. I just adore this little Santa, is he not he cutest you have ever seen? The gifts and pink snowflakes from the Bella Pop gave the perfect finishing touch. I am so happy with how this layout turned out and am excited to see what you make with the new collection.

Merry Little Christmas with Heather Cerulo

Hello there! I hope you have been inspired this week seeing all the beautiful creations with Merry Little Christmas! When I sat down to create with this collection, I immediately knew I wanted to create a large Christmas tree. The borders paper was perfect for this!

 

 

First, I cut apart all of the borders, and then decided the order I wanted the patterns in my tree. I spaced out similar colors, as well as the borders with words. As I worked from the bottom of the page up, I trimmed some off the border so it became smaller as my tree made its way to the top.

 

 

A tree isn't complete without a topper! I used a pretty floral die cut from the Ephemera Icon pack, which I layered with some tangled thread and a Puffy Sticker. Of course, no tree is complete without ornaments, and the beautiful ones from the Puffy Stickers were perfect!

 

 

For my title I used the word "Santa" from the Ciao Chip, which I layered by popping some letters with foam tape. This helped the entire word fit in the space I had. A phrase die cut from the Ephemera Words pack was a great subtitle, right over the word.

 

 

To create flow, I added another floral cluster at two corners of my photo, including the same tangled thread and puffy sticker as on the top of my tree. Santa is the star of the show, and I knew he had to be included somewhere! This adorable puffy sticker, tucked perfectly with a tab on the top of the photo.

 

 

Finally, a tree isn't complete without a trunk! I used a word cut out from the borders paper. I hope you are inspired to document your Christmas memories with Merry Little Christmas!

One Fall Day Thanksgiving layout with Maree

Hi Bella Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Today I have a Thanksgiving layout to share with you using the fabulous One Fall Day collection.

I really wanted to focus on a big fun title so that is where I started with this layout. I decided to use a stencil in the background under where I wanted my title to be. I used Distress Oxides to ink the stencil. I used the colors Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn. Then I added the Thanksgiving word and Ciao Chip title.

 

I added some vertical, and some horizontal elements to this layout. I used a wider piece of the green paper called "Pick of the Patch" for the vertical and then near the bottom of the page I used some of the "Borders" paper horizontally for interest.

On top of the "Borders" paper I added a little leafy, floral cluster. I pulled out some of the cooking elements from the collection for this layout and I think they are just adorable. Look at those gorgeous, almost vintage looking dishes!

The little jam pot is from a Bella Pop and it is just so sweet and shiny! For my final cluster I used the stack of books with a cup of tea and of course a steaming pie.

My pics are older and were quite dark (even after editing!) so I used the beautiful rich red paper to back my photos and capture the mood of them. I distressed the edges and attached them a little offset.

I finished the page with a couple of the small word ephemera banners, including "Home is where the Heart is" and "Thankful". This is such a wonderful collection for documenting all your Thanksgiving memories.

One Fall Day - Thanksgiving with Heather Cerulo

Hello & Happy Thanksgiving week! To celebrate, I pulled out some photos from last Thanksgiving. These photos feature 2 people I am very thankful for, my niece and nephew. I used the beautiful One Fall Day collection, along with a piece of paper from the Hearts and Ombre collection in the Orange color.

 

 

I started my layout by cutting pieces of patterned paper into 3" x 6" pieces, and then used my Banner Punch Board to notch the ends of each. I layered them over each other and curled up the edges. I cut a border strip from the borders paper and used a scallop border sticker to ground the banner at the top.

 

 

Next, I started to create clusters of leaves from the Ephemera packs, and pumpkins from the Ciao Chip. I love how these nestle together to create such fun clusters. I decided I needed some falling leaves from the clusters, and used the puffy stickers to add them.

 

 

For my title, I chose this beautiful "grateful" word from the Ephemera Words pack. I love the mix of colors and the script font, not to mention the word was perfect to describe these photos!

 

 

The final touch was some blue flowers from the epoxy stickers, peeking out of each cluster!

One Fall Day & Cut Files with Sarah Millerhouse

I loved using One Fall Day to capture this happy memory at the Pumpkin Patch! This is an annual tradition for our family, and the colors in this collection remind me of all the colors we see and the way we feel on our visit here each year! 

I started this layout with white mixed media cardstock, Distress Oxide, and Shimmerz Paints. I wanted to add a hint of navy behind all the elements I would be adding on top, and I used a combination of mediums and colors to get just the right shade. I put the Distress Oxide on first using an ink blending tool and two ink colors: Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire. On top of the oxides, I added Vibez - Deep Blue Sea and Vibez - Seas the Day. By combining all these colors, I got a shade of blue the compliments the beautiful navy - Blueberry - that Bella Blvd uses in all their collections! 

Once the background was dry, I cut leaves and vines out of patterned paper from the One Fall Day collection using two Bella Blvd cutfiles. I used the Maple Leaf Cutfile to cut the large leaves. I used the On The Vine Cutfile to cut the beautiful vines. I backed my photos with patterned paper from the collection and then used all the maple leaves and vines to layer around them. I bent up the tips on all of the leaves to add texture to the layout. For the vines, I only added glue to the center line near the base of the vine so that it could twist off the page and the leaves could be bent up. 

Among the leaves I cut, I also tucked in some Ciao Chip leaves and some leaves from the Ephemera Words set from the collection. For the title, I combined several words and phrases from the Ephemera Words set to capture my thoughts about this memory! 

I also added in some Pops of Color (which my husband calls glorified puff paint) in coordinating colors to add some detailing and texture! I love how this finishes off the look of all my clusters! 

If you have not yet gotten your hands on this collection, you should do that right away! I love Fall, and this collection has elements, sentiments, and colors that remind me of everything good about this season! I hope you have a beautiful day! 

One Fall Day with Maree

Today I am here to share a sweet fall layout using the new and gorgeous collection, One Fall Day.

I went with an asymmetrical design to showcase that gorgeous leafy paper called 'Leaf Pile'. I paired it with the teal paper called 'Fall is a Flutter' (which has beautiful butterflies as the A side!). My pictures were slightly larger than I normally work with and I had three of them so I decided to do a cluster at the top and one at the bottom of the layout.

I created the title using a couple of pieces of the Ephemera Words and then the little banner is from the Ciao Chip. I did a little stenciling in the background of the pictures using the Distress Oxide in the color 'Salvaged Patina'. It tied in perfectly with the teal pops in this collection. I mounted my pics on paper from the collection and distressed all the edges. It adds so much texture to the page.

I created this little leaf cluster in the top left using the Ephemera Icons, Ciao Chip and also a Doohickey sticker. The Hello Fall Banner is from the Ephemera Words pack. I love how the Ciao Chip gives dimension, and I popped the banner and sticker up on some foam adhesive.

I made a similar cluster by the title but added a Bella Pop pumpkin! It is so cute and shiny! This Bella Pop is aptly named 'Pumpkin Patch'!

On the bottom picture I added a little Ciao Chip butterfly and I Heart Fall pennant. And I added some more Bella Pop pumpkins too! I added a few more of the sweet words including 'Autumn Bliss' and 'Autumn Skies and Pumpkin Pies' I think that is such a lovely sentiment.

Aren't those pumpkins just so cute? I finished the layout with a little white paint and distress oxide splatters. I'm so happy with how this layout turned out, show-casing pics of my family at the Pumpkin Patch. Have you visited a Pumpkin Patch this Fall? One Fall Day & Letter Scramble with Maree

Hi Bella friends,

Today I'm here to share a fun layout using the gorgeous new One Fall Day collection and the new Letter Scramble Alpha Stickers. Both are such fabulous products. I decided to use the Letter Scramble Alphas to make a very large title. I kept the colors tone on tone with the paper strips from the One Fall day collection.

I first cut 9 strips of various One Fall Day papers, the colors are so pretty! I stacked them horizontally to make my background. I used 2 pictures which I printed at 2.5 x 3" in size.

Then, to create the large rainbow effect title, I added all my alphas and the ephemera word pumpkin title

I created 2 main clusters using ephemera icon die cuts and a super cute Bella Pops called Fall is Here. It has little pumpkins and some flowers and leaves. I just adore the shine and dimension that the Bella Pops add to the page.

I finished with some journaling and white paint splatters. I also added gorgeous epoxy leaves and flowers down the side of the page in coordinating colors.

Lake Life Layout | Maree

Hi Bella friends,

I'm here on the blog to share a Lake Life project with you. I wanted to create a simple, clean layout with these hiking photos. The pictures are older and not the best quality so I decided to keep them smaller for the layout. Some of the ephemera words and icons from the Lake Life collection were just perfect to complement my photos!

I started with an offset grid, using three pictures and three coordinating papers from the collection kit. I like how the grid is a little offset on the page, adding interest and helping keep the focus on the title. I matted my layout base of white cardstock on the B side of the 'Row your Oar' paper because the green was the perfect match for the title - The Great Outdoors.

I backed my pics with the teal blue paper called 'Lakes Vibes' and then cut my other 3 papers to match the size of the backed photos.

 

I really wanted to make the title a highlight of the page so I framed the title with a little flower cluster, with epoxy for shine. I added the 'No Wifi, No Problem' ephemera phrase, because it was so perfect for my story. On this trip we lost cell coverage!

My next little cluster was of the cute trees, the 'Fresh Air' word ephemera and the 'explore' tab. I added the little yellow arrow to tie in with the sun and flowers in the other clusters.

I finished the page with a little cross stitch stamp in blue ink. I also added in the teal heart. I adore the hearts Bella Blvd has in each of their collections. They are so cute.

Finally, I used some of the Doohickey stickers layered up and Icon Ephemera to complete the last cluster. How adorable is that little polkadot sun? I'm really happy with how the page turned out. I had some extra embellishments on the page but went back and removed them as the goal was to keep this one clean and simple! I hope you get a chance to play in your craft space today.
