Soak up the Sunshine | Dorymar

Hello, Bella fans! Summer is here and we need to document our fun summer memories! It is Dorymar here today with a cute Summer Layout with a Splash Zone collection, Bella Plaids and Dotty papers.

One of the things I like the most on my scrapbook is layering, for this project I layered together Sunny Days and Bell Pepper papers to create my background.  Then I selected a beautiful Bella Blvd sun digital file to create the central focus of my layout. I selected the Yellow graph and dots yellow paper to cut the sun.

To highlight the sun, I added distress ink on the border and adhered yellow sequins on the center for a beautiful texture.

For the title, I selected the “Soak up the Sunshine” digital file from Bella Blvd Silhouette Store and backed all the letters with different patterned papers from Splash Zone Collection. This collection has many beautiful patterns and a ton of gorgeous icons perfect to use on any summer project.

Closer to my picture and the title, I created fun clusters using the beautiful chipboard and die cuts icons to decorate my project.

I love how this layout came together, and I hope this project inspires you to create one with the fantastic Splash Zone Collection.

Let’s go Swimming! | Dorymar

Hi, Bella fans, Dorymar with you today with a fun layout that features the Splash Zone Collection.  Summer is here and Bella has created the perfect collection as it can be used to document your memories at the water.  

To create the background, I just started adding color on my white cardstock with some blue watercolor, so the color will disperser on the page. My idea was to create a background that looks like water and combines with the photos of my girls in the pool.

As a title, I selected one of the Bella Blvd digital cut files at Silhouette Store (Let's Go Swimming ID # 323244) and cut in on white cardstock and backed with different patterned papers of the Splash Zone collection.  There are so many embellishments, papers, and designs to choose from that it makes is so easy and fun to create with this collection.

To bring a bit more fun and playfulness to the page.  Small clusters of ephemera and stickers were added around the title, and in clusters around the picture of my daughters swimming with the dolphins in the Bahamas last year.

The ephemera words have the perfect sentiments for my pictures!

This layout was a joy to put together, all the icons and papers in Splash Zone collection are sure to bring a smile to your face.  You are going to love all those fun elements!

Celebrating iNSD with Nathalie

Well Bella Friends, we have reached the end of our iNSD celebration, but boy has it been a blast! We hope that you've spend the day crafting away and doing what you love. Thank you for spending the day with us, we've enjoyed it!

Hello Bella Blvd friends! Happy National Scrapbooking Day to you all!  It is nice to have a day to celebrate this beautiful hobby even amidst this unprecedented time.   I hope you all are enjoying all the projects we have prepared for you.  One of the reasons i am drawn to scrapbooking is the need to tie my daily stories to pictures and feelings.  I keep a daily journal routine, and use a lot of the stories to create keepsakes for my family.  Here is one of the entries in my family album ( COVID documenting/gratitude journal).

 

I wanted something really colorful to lighten up the feeling of the page, so i pulled the Truck Parade paper from the Fireworks and Freedom collection to use as the background for my layout. 

 

Unfortunately this was supposed to be my daughter's last year of High School, and since the pandemic was declared, she has seen all the milestone slowly disappear.  We always talk about God, his blessing and finding rainbows after the storm. So, i decided to give this page a shower of rainbows.  For this, I used the Rainy Clouds  cut file to cut all the clouds and raindrops from Bellas Besties papers.  Once i glued them on the page,  i used a white gel pen to add the small white lines that give a more 3-d look to each piece.

 

I am a journaler above all, so i decided to write all about our conversation and printed this on vellum.  I cut the journal to fit within the page, then added the picture of my daughter and a few embellishments from the Mom Life, Splash Zone and Wish Big collection.

 

 

The last thing i added was a title to the page.  For this i mixed alphas from the Florence Alpha Stickers in Black, Oyster and White; then added a simple phrase sticker from the Word Salad sticker tablet - Legacy collection-.

Stay at Home Mini Album | Dorymar

It is National Scrapbook Day and I am super excited to share with you a fun project, but also to see a thousand ideas of many scrapbookers over the world. Today I am sharing a mini album with the Home Sweet Home collection inspired by the world situation and the new normal, "Stay at Home".

To make the base of the album I used Happy House (ID-293597) digital file from Bella Blvd at the Silhouette store and cut several pages, I use cardstock for the front and back page to give the strongest. I used a ring to put it together because this gives me more opportunity to continue adding as many pages as I can.

I covered the inside pages with the Home Sweet Home patterned paper mixed with the Bella Besties, I also add some free printables I found during the quarantine on Traci Reed page.

The process that we are going through is one for history and as a scrapbooker, I must document every experience lived during this difficult process. Creating this album gave me the opportunity to have fun and turn these bad times into very colorful ones for me and my family.  Inside it, you can find flaps, inserts, pockets, and cutest items from the collection. Below you can see all the pages!

Cut File Week | Patricia

What a wonderful week of inspiration using the Bella Blvd Cut files from the team and leading up to National Scrapbooking Day!  I had so much fun looking through the cut files in the Silhouette Design Store for Bella Blvd files!  I LOVE that both cut files as well as print and cut files are available.  For this 6x8 pocket page spread, I used both!

I first used the Sun & Clouds Print & Cut file from the Squeeze the Day collection.  I sized, printed and cut the sun first to fit my 6x8 layout, then I sized the clouds to print and cut those.  Trimming the sun in half, I adhered it at the top of the base of my white background attached to Home Sweet Home Welcome Home pattern paper.  Then tucked one cloud under and adhered the other on top.  Added my title using the Acrylic Word Home and the Florence Stickers.  Before adhering anything or adding the white machine stitching around my layout, I penciled where the sun and photo would go, and sent through my typewriter to add my journaling.

The next Bella Blvd cut file I used is the Christmas Trees from the Santa Stops Here collection.  These trees are perfect for your outdoor memories!  I re-sized them before cutting them out from the 6x6 Bella Besties paper pad, and tucked some of the 'branches' under my photo to frame it.

I used the same cut file to cut out the second tree image from that same file.  (TIP:  to send through the Silhouette one time, I used the 6x6 Bella Besties paper pad across my 12x12 mat, moved the cut files on my screen to cut on the desired pattern paper.  Another way I got creative with the Bella Blvd files, is instead of cutting these clouds out, I duplicated the orange cloud, and lined all three up, then using the Draw Rectangle tool, I made a rectangle to about 3x4 to fit my pocket.  So I printed the clouds, then sent through my Silhouette, to get a perfectly aligned 3x4 card!  Just be sure to remove the clouds before sending through the Silhouette.  I layered the second tree design on top.

For the next 3x4 pocket, I used the Bug Explorer Daily Details to trim out the 4x6 card with the bees, and then trimmed to fit my 3x4 pocket.  I used the same sun as the print & cut but in the Squeeze the Day chipboard to layer on top and added stamping over it.

For the 4x6 pocket on the bottom, I used one of the 4x6 cards from the Squeeze the Day Daily Details pattern paper.  I used a smaller photo, added a machine stitched border around it, then placed the Squeeze the Day chipboard cloud that matches the Print & Cut file I used, the Squeeze the Day chipboard leaves and die cut, a Bug Explorer sticker, and a Heart Hugs sticker and dots to finish it.

If you have not tried the print & cut feature, it really is a cool tool and way to add to your pages.  I was able to create a lot of repetition within my design using the Squeeze the Day chipboard and Print & Cut file, as well as just using the print feature for the clouds for my 3x4 card!  Then using the trees to add to my filler 3x4 card and frame my photo. I hope you give these ideas to stretch your physical products with the Bella Blvd Cut Files from the Silhouette Design Store!

Family Fun Layout

Hi Bella fans, It’s Dorymar today to show you a new project with the Home Sweet Home Collection.  This collection is beautiful, has bright colors and gorgeous patterns you can incorporate it for any event or activity with the family.

To construct this page, I selected the Family Fun (ID-296821) digital cut file from Bella Blvd at the Silhouette store and I used it as a title.  I covered the back of the letters with some patterned paper of the collection, then with a blue fine-tipped felt marker I made little dots on the entire border to give a fun touch.

On the base paper, I made splatters with die ink and put the title in the center of the page.

To embellish the page, I placed a few of the die-cut, from the Home Sweet Home Ephemera Icons, to create clusters around the title of the page.

I love how this page turned out, it’s a simple, but beautiful project! I hope inspired you to use the beautiful digital cut files and the colorful Home Sweet Home collection from Bella BLVD.

Spring | Dorymar

Hello, Bella fans! It's Dorymar. I'm back with another scrapbook page. This time I have a colorful, Spring layout featuring the Bella Besties and Squeeze the Day Collection. I’m so happy because Spring it’s finally here. I love enjoying the fresh weather and see all the blooming in my backyard.

It always makes it difficult for me to decide between so much pretty paper, so I started by cutting the pieces of each one and layering them to create a fun textural photo mat? That is what I did on today's page. Take a closer look below!

Here you can see the number of layers that I added to the project. All adhered with foam tape to show the entire dimension.

At the top of the page, I used some chipboards from the Squeeze the Day collection to create a cluster around my title. I cut the letters using my digital machine and the Freehand Graph & Dot Punch Paper from the Bella Besties.

To create my flowers, I used the Bella Blvd Yellow Flower (293994) cut file and cut them using my Silhouette Cameo. I chose some of Bella Besties' bright colors and the Fruity Heart Paper. To highlight the flowers, I made with black pen doodling on the entire border and glued to every piece with foam tape. To give the final touch I added some of the fruity mix matte enamels dots.

As you have seen in the previous photos, all the pieces of the project have doodles all around them. This is one of my favorite personal techniques, I think they have managed to give a different and fun touch to the project. You only need a fine-tip pen and Wallah!!!!

The magic is captured.

I love how this design grabs your attention at the top of the page with the title and the photos and then leads your eye down to the "flowers" and the elements of the layout.

Lunchbox of Love | Dorymar

Hi Bella fans, It’s Dorymar here today to share a fun project with you using the Squeeze the Day Collection and Bella Besties Pack.

 

To make my lunch box, I use the Summer Holiday digital set from SVGS cut.  I began by creating a box from Pink Graph and Dot Punch paper. The top lid was made with the Orange we Glad paper and for the trim, I used the “Bananas for You” paper. I decorated the outside of the box with chipboard, matte enamel dots, acrylic shapes, Bella pops and die cuts.  Also, I incorporate three beautiful flowers cut out form the Graph and Dot Bell Paper using the Bella Blvd Daisy Digital File at Silhouette Store.  

 

 

The box that holds three interactive cards with flaps and pocket, perfect to document lovely moments with you love one.

 

 

I created interactive cards from scratch.  Everyone holds space for journaling and photos. I decided to create fun titles with the Alpha puffy stickers and the Florence alphabet stickers. I covered the interactive cards mixed up the Bella Besties and the Squeeze the Day papers and decorated with the epoxy icons, Bella pops and many fun goodies of the collection.

 

 

Because this collection is so fabulous, I wanted to show it off and all the beautiful embellishments she has.  Each card has multi flip-out and pockets and every turn and flip are a magical surprise that conveys the pure joy and love! Below I show you some close-up shots so you can appreciate every element.

 

 

This adorable box would be a special gift that your loved one will fondly remember.

2020 Resolutions/Goals Digital Layout by Tya

Hello, Bella fans! Welcome to 2020! All this week my fellow design team gals and I are focusing on our resolutions/goals for this new year! I loved the chance to get to reflect on what I would like to focus on this year!

 I love big. bold eye-catching design elements, so I used a big "20" number as the focal point of my layout. It's super easy to do digitally instead of having to cut these numbers out by hand or with a digital cutting machine. I love that about Digi scrapping! The "Make Your Mark" collection is perfect for the goals theme. There is some great motivational type of sentiments and I love the bright color pallet.

Gratitude Documented Digital Layout by Tya Smith

 Hello there, Tya here!  I really love this time of year, I love the chance we get to focus on all of the things we are thankful for. While I do try to find time to be grateful for all I have throughout the rest of the year, I feel especially thankful during the holidays. 

This week we got the chance to focus our projects on Thanksgiving and well, I could not think of a better subject to focus my layout on than on my family. We are such a tight-knit family and I truly adore each and every one of them and am thankful for them all individually in many different ways.  

Here is my digital layout I'd like to share with you. Isn't the Gratitude Documented collection so lovely? I love the color scheme and the hand-drawn elements of this collection. I loved using it with my photo. Aren't those leaves gorgeous?
