New Years Eve Memories with Maree

Hi Bella Friends,

I excited to be here to share this project today. I have used the Cap and Gown Collection, Bella Besties and Letter Scrambles for a layout about New Years Eve.

For this layout I used a fabulous cut file from the Bella Bvld shop, in the Silhouette Design Store. Which you can find here:

I cut the file in a black dotted paper from Cap and Gown called Just Graduated. I backed the file with a rainbow of Bella Besties papers. What is so fabulous is that the Bella Besties papers match perfectly with the new Letter Scrambles.

Once I positioned the cut file on the page I added 3 panels of patterned paper from Cap and Gown. Next I added the sub title New Year Eve 2018 using a variety of colors of Letter scrambles. I mirrored the colors in the cut file to keep the rainbow pattern.

I added in my pics above the title and set to work embellishing. The first thing I added was the hanging tassels from the Cap and Gown Ephemera icons pack. Next I picked out some of the flowers from the pack and made 3 cluster groups.

I used a fun Bella Pop from Cap and Gown called "Amazing". The shine and dimension are so fabulous!

I added the word smile from the Doohickey Stickers and some tiny epoxy dots and flowers to finish the page. I really like how the colors pop against the black and white products from Cap and Gown. The final addition was the scalloped border from the Ciao Chip.

Teen Vibe Caitlyn Scrapbook Layout | Erica Thompson

Hey friends! Erica here to share my first 12x12 scrapbook layout using the Teen Vibe Caitlyn collection!

I am so in love with this new collection! I love the pops of black and the florals! This collection can be used for more than just a teen which I also love! I decided to create a layout to document my skateboard loving niece!

I found a super cute cut file from The Cut Shoppe that I thought would be perfect with my photos and this collection. I cut the file out with some black textured cardstock to help the colors in the collection pop even more. 

I backed the file with different pattern papers from the Caitlyn collection. Once the file was backed I added foam adhesive all over the back and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed down to 11x11. Next I added a piece of black cardstock that is sized to 11.25x11.25 and then matted onto the 12x12 Glam pattern paper. 

I added my photos around the layout and created some embellishment clusters around each photo. I used the Epic title piece under one of the photos along with one of the Doohickey stickers. To finish off the layout I added my journaling and a few enamel stickers.

Teen Vibe Caitlyn Collection 

Summertime Layout | Tiny Tots Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara from Secretbees Studio here with a fun and colorful layout featuring the Tiny Tots 2.0 Collection along with the Bella Blvd 'Summertime Fun' cut file! The creative team was challenged to create a Summer Themed layout and I was inspired by this bright photo of my grandkids enjoying a summertime treat!

In this collection there is a fabulous rainbow stripe paper that I used to fill in the open letters of the cut-out. Then I trimmed just the word 'time' from green patterned paper and layered that over the original cut-out. Keeping with a rainbow theme, I stenciled in some large polka dots onto a grid background and also added in a rainbow scalloped chipboard sticker over my photo.

A small polka dotted tab was tucked under the photo and I added some foam adhesive to the cut-out before adhering it to the page. The pink popsicle Bella-Pop, along with its fun little drips, was a definite must for this layout and is layered on top of everything!

More of the super cute and colorful embellishments of the Tiny Tots 2.0 collection were layered around the photo including some sweet sentiments!  For more accent and shine, I added a diagonal variety of puffy and epoxy stars, hearts and tiny dots to the background!

You Are Loved | Just Because | Erica Thompson

Hey friends! Erica here with you today sharing my first layout using the beautiful Just Because collection from Bella Blvd. 

I love that this collection can be used for so many different projects with different themes! I decided to document some of our daughters photos and showcase the pretty florals in this collection. 

I started out by cutting the Blossoms cut file with some white textured cardstock. Next I backed the file with pattern papers from the Bella Blvd. Just Because collection. Then I trimmed down a piece of textured white cardstock to 10.75x10.75 and matted it onto a couple different papers from the same collection.  

To adhere the backed cut file onto the layout I used some foam adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I placed the cut file in the center of the layout and then added my photos into 4 of the Blossom centers. I placed my title in the center blossom of the cut file and popped it up with foam adhesive. I added a couple of the floral pieces to the top and bottom to give it the look of a wreath. I embellished around the different blossoms of the cut file using Just Because ephemera and stickers. I just love how this layout turned out and this cut file is perfect for multi photo layouts!

Snow Much Fun | Merry Little Christmas | Yvette Weber

 

Hey there, it's Yvette! I'm so happy to be here today to share my latest layout using Bella Blvd's 'Merry Little Christmas' collection.

 

 

I start my page by using a beautiful Snowflake wreath cut file from the Lori Whitlock shop and cut it from white cardstock. Next, I used a blending brush to add color, which created a soft, beautiful look before placing the wreath cut file on top.

 

 

To enhance the overall appearance of my layout, I decided to incorporate more color into it. To achieve this, I used various patterned papers with different colors to cut individual snowflakes. These were adhered randomly over the top of the wreath with foam tape, creating a layered dimensional effect. Combining the different patterns and colors made a visually striking impact on the layout and added a nice touch of variety.

 

 

I used a 6x4-sized photo on my layout and tucked it under the wreath cut file. To make my title stand out, I played around with a mix of colors from the 'Letter Scrambles' and placed them above the photo.

 

 

Next, I added some adorable die-cut animal and snowman pieces, along with two lovely Cardinals from the Bella-Pops-Oh What Fun, all around the wreath, which gave the layout a fun and festive vibe.

 

Hand-stitching was added to the white cardstock and then framed with the 'From the Heart' paper.

Merry Little Christmas Cards

Hello friends! Erica here on the blog today sharing some fun holiday cards using the Merry Little Christmas collection.

I really love using cut files on my projects so I knew I would be using them on some cards! Lacey Ann Designs has a variety of different cut files designed just for card fronts! I picked 3 different designs that I thought would go great with the papers in the Merry Little Christmas collection. 

I loved picking papers to back each of the open spots in these card front cut files! This is a great way to showcase the pretty pattern papers in this collection!

Once the card fronts were backed I added foam adhesive to the back and adhered them to some card fronts. I used the Merry Little Everything ephemera icons and some of the ephemera words to embellish the card fronts. I just love how colorful they turned out!

Using the cutfiles to create the cards is a great way to use up smaller scraps of your collections! I hope you are inspired to give these card cut files a try with your Bella collections! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

Hello to all Bella friends! Hope your week is going well. It's me Sarah over at @redoaklines hosting today's blog post, and I'm excited to share my latest layout using the Tiny Tots 2.0 collection coupled with a Bella Blvd cut file and some awesome embellishments to create birthday inspired project. 

Here's how I felt inspired:

The "Cherry Cupcake" cut file steals the show! I love that it is a big and bold statement. Find it here.

Have you used any of the Bella Blvd cut files before?! I love using them! They're a quick and easy to add that extra oomph to your projects. For this particular cut file, I used plain, white cardstock. Then, I added color to my cupcake by using some coordinating inks. If you don't fill like getting messy with inks, you can always just cut out patterned papers. The sky's the limit with cut files!

The embellishments in this collection are adorable. It works for all ages, boy or girl. There are dinosaurs, whales, cats, dogs, zoo animals, just to name a few. For this layout, however, I wanted to just use the flowers and stars from the Ciao Chips to bring attention to the "Cherry Cupcake" cut file. 

In the mix, I also scattered in some Bella Besties Trinkets to add dimension to my layout. I love that the Puffy Stickers come in every Bella Blvd color. It makes matching all the collections so much easier.

For my title, I used one of the Bella Blvd Acrylic Words. I love how the bold, red "Birthday" pops off of the page. I placed it vertically to ride up alongside my photos.

I also added some of the Doohickey Stickers and Ciao Chips to embellish the title. I love how all the embellishments paired up so nicely.

That's all I have for today. Isn't the Tiny Tots 2.0 collection adorable?! Doesn't it inspire you to scrap?! I love that even though this is a kid/toddler themed paper collection, it's versatile enough to use to make a birthday layout!

Maree here to share a summery boy layout with you all.

I used an older collection called To the Moon and it was so perfect for an older picture of my son and all his buddies playing at a local playground.

I started out by cutting the triangle shapes from the Daily Details paper. Then I distressed the edges and sewed them to the page using my sewing machine.

I like to lift the edges up a little to show dimension. Then I added a few border stickers from the doohickey sticker sheet for added interest.

I knew I wanted to create a big title so I combined a Bella Blvd cut file, alphas and the Ciao Chip word 'Play'. I think it turned out so fun! I used a few stars shapes for extra embellishment as they really suit the theme. You can find the explore cut file in the Bella Silhouette Store here:

I embellished the top right corner of the picture with the fussy cut words "All Boy" from the Borders paper. And added some Ciao Chip and Epoxy to create a small cluster.

I finished off the page with some Ciao Chip pieces at the top, some epoxy stickers and a little white ink. I was really happy with how this turned out. I hope you are having a creative day!

Summertime and Bella Besties | Maree

Hi Bella friends,

It's Maree back to share a cute summer layout with you using some awesome Bella Besties products and a Cut Out too!

I had some fun pool pictures of my daughter and her friend. I thought the Sunshine Cut Out was perfect for these pics. I decided to use the hearts Bella Besties papers because they are so cute.

I started with some Distress Inks and a sunburst stencil to make a rainbow design the same colors as the papers. The paper took the ink so nicely and it really frames the pics well.

I backed the Cut Out using various shades from the Bella Besties paper. I used the template included in the Cut Outs pack and it was amazing how quick this made it. I then used some tone on tone Bella Trinket Puffy stickers to embellish the completed Cut Out.

I pulled out a few bits and pieces from the Time to Travel collection to finish embellishing the page. I love that Ciao Chip camera! I then added my sub title using the Florence Alphas in Pink.

I added some white ink splatters to finish off the page. I think this turned out so fun. Have you pulled out your Bella Besties lately? They work for almost any layout idea!  Have a fabulous day.

Sweet Summer Girl / Bella Besties Summer Themed

Hello Bella Friends! Gloria Parra here today with a new summer themed layout using the fabulous Bella Besties!!! If you are not familiar with our Bella Besties, they are the best friends and the perfect addition to all other Bella products! Oh how I adore those besties, they are so much fun to create with and help us stretch our collections with their basic patterns and vibrant colors.

Today's layout is a Summer one!!! My daughter is a huge fan of ice creams, popsicles, snow cones and cotton candies; treats are one of her favorite parts of summer! So, I decided to create a layout about this…

Using all my Bella Besties, I created a sun ray on my white cardstock background. I cut 2 different sizes of rays and created a sunburst with all the summer colors in my two Bella Besties pack. I distressed each of my rays to create some texture and dimension on my layout.

My photo is a 4” inch circle with a circle frame that measures 4.5” inches. I placed it in the middle of my sunburst.

For my title I used a “Sweet Girl” Cut Out and two big ice creams that I backed up with some more Bella Besties patterned paper. I love the Cut Outs  products, you get a beautiful die cut piece without the trouble of cutting it yourself and dealing with a die cutting machine. I also used some Florence alpha stickers to add them “summer” subtitle. 

I then embellished the 2 sides of my title with some ice creams found in the embellishment pack and chipboard sticker from the Tiny Tots 2.0 collection. This collection was the perfect complement to my Bella Besties.

I then added a couple of stickers and embellishments on my rays in a monochromatic way, which I love to do! I finished my layout adding some puffy stickers in the same colors of my rays.

EiEiO with Bella Besties | Sarah Millerhouse

Hello! It's Sarah Millerhouse here, and I am excited to share a layout with you featuring the beautiful EiEiO collection paired up with Bella Besties!

For this layout, I started with a piece of patterned paper from the EiEiO collection for the background! I loved the subtle hexagons on that white background. I added gesso all the way across the middle section on the layout, and then I added a rainbow of mixed media on top of that. I knew I wanted to highlight the colors in my photos, along with all the beautiful colors in the collection, and a rainbow was the best way to do that! 

Next I added several strips of patterned paper across the middle of the layout at an angle. This was a great way to highlight the placement of my photos and draw your eye to those! I layered a few tags from the Ephemera Words set in the collection behind my photos and added ribbon to those. I also attached a couple of tabs from that same set on either side of my photos. 

Above my photos, I added the Sunrise Bella Blvd Cutfile to highlight what a beautiful sunny day we had in Jamaica! I cut both the cutfile and an offset layer (that I created using the Offset tool in the Cricut Design software) so that my sun had more pizazz! I distressed the edges of each sun ray and also added hand-stitching and Pops of Color to really make it shine!

Beside the sun, I added a couple of clouds that I cut out from the Rainbow Bella Blvd Cutfile and added Pops of Color to some of the dots on the patterned paper.

For my title, I started with Ciao Chip letters from the EiEiO collection and the "Memories" Acrylic Word from Bella Blvd above my photos. 

Below the photos, I finished the title with Aria Alphabet letters in Bell Pepper and Guacamole and words from the EiEiO Ephemera Word set. I added some Puffy Hearts stickers and a few more Pops of Color to finish off the layout! I loved creating this layout, and I hope it inspires you in some way!
