The North Pole Collection Week | Inessa Persekian

Hi friends,

Inessa here, back on the blog sharing a DOUBLE page layout using The North Pole Collection. I was inspired to create this after a visit with Santa.

To create the layouts, I started with two sheets of the Rudolph paper, using the B side (red crosshatch). I then pulled two sheets of the December 25 paper and used the colorful words side. I cut these papers to 9 1/4" x 10 3/8". I adhered them so that when the pages are side by side, the papers are centered and touching. For the green crosshatch paper (B side of The Perfect Tree paper), I also used 2 sheets and cut them to 7 7/8" x 9" and adhered so that they meet in the center when the layouts are side by side.

Left layout: I cut a piece of the December 25 paper (using the rainbow side) to 2 5/8" x 10 3/8" and adhered about 6" from the left. I then added my 4x6 photo matted on white textured cardstock about 3/4” from the left and 2 5/8” from the top.

For the embellishments, I used lots of pieces from the Ephemera Icons and Words packs as well as Epoxy, Puffy Stickers and a tree from Ciao Chip. I adhered them using a mix of foam tape and tear tape for dimension and finished off with dots of glitter snowflake pop of color.

Right layout: I adhered my 3x4” photos matted on white textured cardstock about 2 1/2” from the top and 1/2” from the left. The vertical photo is trimmed down to 2 1/8x 4” to fit the space. I added the rainbow tabs from the Ephemera Words pack and adhered them using foam tape. The hearts are from the Epoxy pack.

The “fun” banner is also from the Words pack and adhered using foam tape. The rest of the embellishments are from the Icons pack and are adhered using foam tape

Some tips:

  1. For the flowers, I folded the petals in half to give them dimension.
  2. For the flower centers and other elements such as the ornaments on the trees, the reindeer noses and Santa’s hat, add pops of color, stickler or any glitter glue.
  3. When using ephemera, stickers, etc, adhered using a mix of foam and glue/tape adhesive. This gives great dimension and creates slight shadows that bring the page to life
  4. Use a mix of cardstock, stickers, epoxy and other elements like ribbon, sequins or enamel dots to bring multiple textures to a layout.

Thanks for visiting, hopefully you can draw some inspiration from this!

All the best,

Inessa
