Sunny Day Ahead | Gloria Parra | Lake Life + Bella Besties

Hello sweet Bella Blvd friends! Gloria Parra here today with a super fun layout. We were challenged this week to use our Bella Besties and the “Lake Life” collection to create a St. Patricks inspired layout, and OH how I loved the end result!

I started my layout with the green Lake Life polka dot patterned paper as my base, leaving a border all around. I then cut my white cardstock at 11,5 x 11,5 inches and adhered it on top. 

With the help of my trusty Bella Besties I created my super colorful rainbow, cutting each color of the rainbow with Bella Besties paper as well as some monochromatic Lake Life patterned papers. I die cut some clouds  in different sizes and different shades of blue and placed them on 3 corners, creating a visual triangle on my layout.

My idea for this page was to have a pot of spring flowers (instead of gold) at the end of my rainbow. To create my pot I used a black Bella Bestie pattered paper and the Sunny Day chipboard sticker from the Lake Life collection for my title. The red “ahead” subtitle comes from the fantastic Letter Scramble stickers. 

All the gorgeous flowers bursting from my pot come from the Lake Life ephemera packs and the Bella Pops in this incredible collection. The little turtle and frog at the bottom of my pot are also some Bella Pops from the this collection.

I printed my photos on two 2 1/4 x 6 inches photo strips and use a piece of the black patterned paper to create a frame for them, bringing the black to the left side of my layout as well. 

I then created little embellishment clusters  and  scenes on my clouds, adding little butterflies all around, which help lead the eyer through the layout. I also added some enamel dots to mark the trace of the butterflies…love how that looks!

Finally, I decided to use up all my enamel dots by placing a bunch of them on each color of my rainbow. I love the subtle shine and interest that this adds to my page! For my story I printed some journaling strips and placed them under my photo strips.

All The Girl Stuff | Teen Vibe Caitlyn Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara with Secretbees Studio here with an adorable project featuring the new Teen Vibe Caitlyn collection! If you have a collection like this one with so many fabulous icons, embellishments and patterned papers, the best way to show everything off is to create a pocket letter!

I used a pocket page that has nine 3x4 pockets, combining the two at the top as one. I picked out just a few of the pretty papers that featured mostly light pink tones and cut them to size. For a bit of flair, I added a single black paper to the center and added in a few black touches throughout the rest of the page. A mixture of ephemera, words and stickers were layered onto the pockets and accented with heart and flower epoxy stickers!

Of course, one of the pockets is filled with shiny sequins and another features an actual pocket that is stuffed with two amazing Bella Pops. For even more shine, I added some glittery card stock to two of the pockets and layered in more silver and pink sequins too! It was so hard to choose the embellishments for the tops of the pockets, but I knew no matter which ones I decided on, it would be a beautiful pocket page!

Teen Vibe Caitlyn | Card Inspiration by Annette Allen

 

Welcome Bella friends... Annette Allen here with you today to share more card inspiration with you using the new Bella Blvd Teen Vibe Caitlyn collection. I bet you have been getting inspired with all the creative team members projects. I love using these collections to create cards with and I have to say it comes so easy with all the fun coordinating elements and go perfectly with all the gorgeous papers. 

 

Today it is all about inspiring your loved one with a card. Send them a sweet message using this fun collection. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut an A2 panel on the Kissy Lips paper and adhere it to your card base using liquid glue.

 

Cut a rectangle measuring 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 on the Girl Squad paper and add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to the center of your card. 

 

 

Die cut or machine cut a heart design on the Daily Details backer paper and then add some foam tape to the back and adhere it the center of your card. 

 

Pick out three Ephemera Icons and adhere them to the center of your heart. I used foam tape on all three of the images. If that is too much dimension for you use liquid glue. 

 

This collection is full of amazing sentiments/sayings let's pick one from the new Caitlyn Ciao Chip board. I added foam tape to the back and adhere it to the card. 

 

 

Finishing with a few of those pretty Big Heart Epoxy dots. This gives my card a little shine and more pink... which I love and I hope you do too. 

 

 

Next up with is all about those smiling faces...

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut an A2 panel on the new Glow Clear Cuts. Don't adhere it yet.

 

 

Die cut or machine cut a fun rectangle design that has openings and a circle in the center on the new Make Someone Smile paper. Flip it over and add some foam tape and then add the A2 panel we cut out of the Clear Cuts Glow to the back. 

 

Now add some tear tape to the Clear Cuts BUT ONLY on the parts you will not see on the front of your design. Add to your card base. 

 

 

Yes, we need more smiles, so let's pick the Ciao Chip board SMILE happy face and add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to the center of your card. 

 

I thought this sentiment was perfect for all these smily faces. It is from the new Ephemera Words. Add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to the card.

Making Memories | Teen Vibe Caitlyn Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara here with Secretbees Studio and I have the sweetest mini album to share with you that I created using the new Teen Vibe Caitlyn Collection! This collection has the most adorable ephemera and I was especially inspired by the super cute Instax camera that is part of the ephemera icons pack. I knew instantly that I wanted to create a mini album based on this camera!

I used a cut file that I found on Etsy and modified it to look like the ephemera camera. I cut the front pieces from all of the pretty patterned papers of the collection and mounted them on heavy card stock for stability and then layered more of the charming ephemera pieces on top. I tucked in and added a few shiny and colorful epoxy stickers as well!

The camera is 1.25 " wide which leaves plenty of room for lots of goodies to go inside! I made them in varying lengths so they could all peek out of the camera just a bit! Some of the pieces are frames and some are interactive and open up or flip to reveal photo spots! All in all this amazing mini can hold at least 20 photos!

The SVG file I used was just one piece and flat but I cut both a front and back cover and them made a long strip of card stock to connect the two. It was an easy project and just think of how many teenage girls you could make happy with a mini like this!

First and Last Days of School 12x12 Layout | School is Cool

Hi friends! Erika here. Creating a 12x12 scrapbook page with the Bella Blvd School Is Cool collection was so much fun! I got inspired by these two chipboard circles that said “First Day of School” and “Last Day of School.” I happened to have pictures that matched both prompts perfectly, so I knew I had to use them.

I wanted to keep the design simple and stick to classic school colors—black, red, and yellow. Since my photos were in black and white, they fit right in without clashing with the cardstock.

I went with a single-tier design in the middle of the page to highlight the mini pencils I cut out. I added foam adhesive to give them some dimension, making the page pop.

The chipboard letter stickers were perfect for my title, which I surrounded with plain clear sequins and a bit of mini rope for a unique touch.

To finish the page, I added mini question marks, handwritten journaling and time-stamped the photos. This added a personal touch and captured the timeline of my child's school year. The final result was a colorful, dynamic page full of school spirit.

I had a blast putting this together and love how it turned out. I hope this inspires you to get crafty and document those special school moments. Remember, sometimes keeping it simple and focused can really make your scrapbook pages shine. Happy crafting!

First Day Memories | School Is Cool Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara at Secretbees Studio here with a layout featuring my pretty little granddaughter on her first day of preschool last year! There are so many charming patterned papers in this collection and I picked a few of my favorites to highlight these photos of her and her proud family! 

I backed each of the smaller photos with a different paper design and then layered those along a strip of more of the delightful patterned paper. I added a strip of red polka dot paper under the distressed edge of the strip and repeated that under the left side of the layout as well. Along the right side of the layout I added the frames from the Ephemera Words pack and topped those with cute icons and epoxy school supply stickers. I added in bright flowers and small epoxy dots!

Around the main photo, I layered lots of embellishments from the Ephemera Words and Ephemera Icons packs along with a chipboard sticker and more of the shiny epoxy stickers! I just love the apple slices! The finishing touches were some more colorful flowers in the top left as well as some tucked underneath the long photo strip!

Summertime Layout | Tiny Tots Collection | Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara from Secretbees Studio here with a fun and colorful layout featuring the Tiny Tots 2.0 Collection along with the Bella Blvd 'Summertime Fun' cut file! The creative team was challenged to create a Summer Themed layout and I was inspired by this bright photo of my grandkids enjoying a summertime treat!

In this collection there is a fabulous rainbow stripe paper that I used to fill in the open letters of the cut-out. Then I trimmed just the word 'time' from green patterned paper and layered that over the original cut-out. Keeping with a rainbow theme, I stenciled in some large polka dots onto a grid background and also added in a rainbow scalloped chipboard sticker over my photo.

A small polka dotted tab was tucked under the photo and I added some foam adhesive to the cut-out before adhering it to the page. The pink popsicle Bella-Pop, along with its fun little drips, was a definite must for this layout and is layered on top of everything!

More of the super cute and colorful embellishments of the Tiny Tots 2.0 collection were layered around the photo including some sweet sentiments!  For more accent and shine, I added a diagonal variety of puffy and epoxy stars, hearts and tiny dots to the background!

Road Trip - Time To Travel Collection | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today and I've got a fun layout using the Time To Travel collection. This week the CT is documenting multiple photos using this gorgeous collection.  You might not know this about me, but I LOVE Swedish candy... And there happens to be a Swedish candy store in Los Angeles which is about a 1.5- 2 hour drive from where we live.  So of course, we have taken road trips there multiple times and let me tell you, it's worth every second of sitting in traffic haha.  Here's my page: 

To start, I took two pieces of the 12x12 Road Trip paper and trimmed the black diagonal side to 11x11 and then took a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it down to 10.5x10.5.  Once I layered and adhered them together, I pulled a road map stencil from my stash and blended some blue ink through it.  Simple and pretty!

Next, I matted my photos using a scrap paper from the collection and popped them all up on foam tape. I arranged all three together towards the right side of my layout.  I knew I wanted to create a few embellishment clusters around my photos so by staggering them together, it created some nooks and crannies. 

For my title, I used the Florence Alpha in Black and Blueberry and adhered it to the left of my photos. It's such a fun font and it goes so well with this design. I then started embellishing using the Ephemera Icons and Words.  

I created this fun cluster at the bottom left of my layout using more Ephemera Icons and Ciao Chip stickers.  Since this page is about a road trip, I tried to incorporate vehicles and of course city buildings since we were in Los Angeles.  

This collection is bright and bold and I love it so much.  We love to go on so many different adventures and it's perfect to document a lot of those special memories with.

Time to Travel: Card Inspiration

 

Welcome Bella friends.. Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a little travel fun. You can invite a friend or family member on a vaca with a fun homemade card using Bella Blvd: Time to Travel collection. 

 

 

Crate card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut a 1 3/4 x 5 1/2 strip of the Time to Travel Road Trip backer paper and adhere it to the left side of your card using liquid glue. 

 

Mix a little black ink with water and splatter the right side of the card and let dry completely.

 

 

Die cut, fussy cut or machine cut three circles measuring 2 1/2, 2  and 1 1/2 inch circles on the Time to Travel Photo Op, Back Roads backer Daily Details backer. Adhere them to the card using liquid glue and foam tape. Use the foam tape when layering the circles so it has a little dimension. 

 

Cut a 1 x 1 3/4 strip of the Time to Travel Road Trip backer paper and add to the medium circle using from tape. 

 

 

Pick out the ADVENTURE and LOVE sentiments from the Time to Travel Ephemera Words & Tags and adhere to the center of the card. See photo on how to layer. 

 

Finishing up with a couple of these pretty Time to Travel Getaway Epoxy stickers.

Die cut or machine cut two scalloped circles and one circle 3 inches on the Time to Travel Road Trip backer, In The Clouds and In The Clouds backer. Adhere them all together using foam tape for dimension. 

 

Adhere your circle fun to the center of the card. 

 

Pick out this fun Plane from the Time to Travel Ciao Chip Board and adhere to the circle using foam tape.

 

Add one of those cute clouds from the Time to Travel Scenic Route Puffy Stickers.

 

Finishing with the sentiment from the Time to Travel Ephemera Words & Tags.

Up In The Sky | Time To Travel Collection | Brianna Lepper | Double Page Layout

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I've got a fun double page layout to share with y'all! I don't always make double page spreads, but when I do, I really enjoy it.  This week, the CT is working with the Time To Travel collection and I'm documenting a bunch of photos from my daughter's first airplane ride.  We are military and PCS'd from Louisiana to California and instead of driving, we shipped our cars and flew out here.  We flew first class (for the first time) and Annie did so well! Here's my page: 

To start, I took two pieces of white textured cardstock to use as a base. I then pulled out several of the 12x12 patterned papers and trimmed them down to strips that ranged from 3" inches, 2" inches, 1.5" inches and 1"inches. I ended up using the following papers: Love This Place!, Freeway, Road Trip and Back Roads. 

I layered all of the paper strips together and mirrored the layers on both pages.  I then matted my photos using another patterned paper and then arranged them on both pages.  I used one 4x4 photo, two 2x2 photos and four 2x3 photos. when I layered the photos together, they created some great spaces for my embellishments. I embellished using the Ephemera Icons and Words, Puffy Stickers and Epoxy Stickers.  I love all of the bold patterns and pretty embellishments. 

I love these two pages next to each other. This was such a big day for Annie and I'm so glad that I have these great photos from it.

The Jet Set Bella Pop was the perfect addition to this spread. 

Next, I went through the Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers and pulled in a few of the smaller elements.

Summer Fun with the Time To Travel Collection

Happy Tuesday Bella friends.. Annette Allen here with you today and I am all about summer with these two cards that I created using Bella Blvd: Time to Travel Collection.  Last week I share some fun travel cards and this week is full of Summer vibes. This collection is so diverse and I am here to show you. 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 squares using a paper trimmer out of the Time to Travel Vacay Vibes front and back and Bella Besties Gingham & Stripes 6x6 paper pad. I cut 12 squares and mixed up the patterns when I adhere them to the card. Start in the middle and work your way out and trim off the access. 

 

 

Pick out the Time to Travel Ciao Chip THE BEST sentiments and add a little foam tape to the back and adhere it to the center of the card. 

 

Add one of those cute flowers from the Scenic Route Puffy Stickers on the T of the Best sentiment. 

 

 

Use the Bella Besties Black Letter Scramble to spell SUMMER, adhere it to the card using foam tape. 

 

Pick the PICK HEART from the Time to Travel Ciao Chip and adhere to your card. It already comes with a sticky background. 

 

 

Send this card to someone who made your summer amazing. 

 

 

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

 

Cut diagnal strips out of the Time to Travel On the Go backer, Love This Place and Daily Details backer. I used the paper trimmer and cut at an angle and then just line them up and trimmed off the access. Adhere to your card base using liquid glue. Make sure to mix up the patterns. 

 

 

Pick out some of the fun images from the time to Travel Ephemera Icons and adhere them to the lower part of the card using foam tape and liquid glue. 

 

Pick out the WISH YOU WHERE HERE from the Time to Travel Ephemera Words & Tags and adhere to your card using foam tape. 

 

 

To finish I added the fun Sunny Bella-Pops to the upper left part of the card and I also added the heart from the Ephemera Icons. 

 

 

All the things I love... yellow, palm trees and the sun shinning over it all. Send this card to someone you miss and wish there were there.
