Winter Cards with Maree Crozier

Hi Bella friends,

Maree here today to share some winter cards with you made using the Merry Little Christmas collection and some of the cute small letters from Letter Scrambles.

I made three cards using some of the pretty winter papers in Merry Little Christmas and some of the lovely ephemera from the collection. I used some stamps, gems and dies from my stash to pull everything together.

My first cards features this cute little snowman ephemera. He was so cute, I made a snowy scene around him. I started with the blue spotted paper called 'Merry Everything' as my background. I used a little Distress Ink (in color Broken China) in the back ground of a circle die cut to create the scene and added some sweet puffy stickers for dimension. I used the white small letter scramble stickers with a simple stamp to make the sentiment "Hello Winter". I finished the card off with some small sparkly gems to give a snowy effect.

My second card I turned landscape to make a fun winter scene with some of the house ephemera from the collection. The base of the card is the super pretty green check called 'Filled with Joy'. It is a really lovely shade of green. I added the houses and some glitter pops of color on the roofs to resemble snow. I added some of the puffy sticker trees, some small snow die cuts with gems for dimension. I used the black letter scramble small words and some stamps to make the sentiment, "Sending warm greetings".

For my third card I picked the sweet bunnies, aren't they just adorable? I used the 'Merry Everything' paper again for the background and created some snowy hills with white card stock. I distressed the edges. Next I added a couple of white large snow flakes that I had dies for and then added the bunnies on top using foam adhesive squares. I added the small tree puffy stickers and the hearts. I added some tiny gems on the snowflakes. I used the letter scrambles small letters in the color "Ice" for the word winter and stamped the small wishes word in Distress ink in the color Broken China.

I had so much fun making these cards and enjoyed using this Christmas collection in a different way. Have a great day!

Cards I Merry Little Christmas & Letter Scramble I Heather Cerulo

Hi there! Heather here today to share 3 wintery cards using Merry Little Christmas along with the Letter Scramble alphas. There are so many great winter icons in this collection that it is easy to transition from Christmas to winter crafting!

 

 

My 3 cards focus on using the adorable pieces in the ephemera packs included in this collection. First up, is a fun design with the die cut trees in the background of the card, with a sentiment strip layered overtop. Adding the word Brr with the Macintosh Letter Scramble alphas was the perfect finishing touch. 

 

 

For my second card, I started with the Ice Letter Scramble alphas to create the phrase Winter Wishes as the focal point on my card. I then tucked some ephemera on the diagonal and added some snowflakes to create a visual triangle.

 

 

Last, and possibly my most favorite is the snowflake blizzard I created with papers from the Merry Little Christmas collection and a metal die. I layered the snowflakes behind the ephemera title, tucked a cute word above with the Letter Scramble alphas and finished it off with lots of sequins!

Merry Little Christmas l Kirei Baldwin

Seasons Greetings, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their family and friends! It's Kirei here with my latest festive layout using the fabulous Merry Little Christmas collection and I've pulled out the coordinating Clear Cuts paper to use as elements in my wreath design along with some of the other patterned papers in the collection.

Firstly I trimmed down a sheet of white card to 11 1/2" and distressed the edges, adding in some torn areas on each side. Then I pencilled a roughly 9" circle in the centre of the white card to use as my guide for the wreath. Using the packaging technique I added soft blue sparkly watercolour paint around the circle, then finished off with lots of splatters. Once it was dry I stuck it to a frame made from the From the Heart paper (red flowers).  

Next I punched thirteen 2 1/2" circles from the following: Clear Cuts - Candy Cane Stripe, Merry Everything (blue spot), Papa Noel (Santa's) and From the Heart (red flowers) and distressed the edges. Then I decided to add some additional details to each one: firstly the Clear Cut circles - I punched large snowflakes from the Merry Everything and From the Heart papers and attached them using a cross-stitch in the centre, then the Merry Everything (blue spot) circles - I back-stitched a border with matching blue thread, next the Papa Noel (Santa's) circles - I added sparkly glitter glue to the Santa hats and finally From the Heart (red flowers) circles - I stitched red French Knots to the centre of each little red flower. These were all added to the white card background using foam pads. 

Then I mounted my three festive Snapchat photos using the Filled with Joy (dark teal) paper, distressed the edges and added them to the wreath using foam pads. 

Next is the fun part... adding the embellishments! I used the Ephemera Icons, Puffy Stickers, Epoxy Stickers and the cute Bella Pops layered stickers! 

To finish off I added some cross-stitches around each edge, added my title using the new Letter Scramble alpha in Pony and McIntosh (layered the two together to give a dimensional feel) and 'CHEER' from the Ciao Chip stickers, and finally just added a few lines of journaling and it was done!

Hi friends! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday, and are spending time with loved ones this week! How about some more Merry Little Christmas inspiration?

 

 

This week, the creative team is using Merry Little Christmas paired up with the Clear Cuts Acetate Paper in this collection.  For my layout, I created a large vertical shaker pocket with the Clear Cuts Paper.  I filled it with some sequins from my stash that sprinkle freely!

 

 

Along either side of my large shaker pocket, I placed scalloped border stickers from the Doo Hickey cardstock stickers. To create a spot for my photos, I cut a large rectangle of patterned paper and placed my photos here, as well as a fun phrase from the Daily Details patterned paper.

 

 

Of course, I had to add some of the fun die cuts from both the ephemera icons and words packs! I tucked trees, presents from the puffy stickers, and the adorable Bella Pop Santa head around my title and photos.

 

 

Some final touches included machine stitching around the patterned papers and word phrase stickers.

Merry Little Christmas Cards

Hello, hello, Bella friends! It's me Sarah (@redoaklines) hosting today's blog post, and I'm here with more holiday inspiration! Christmas is right around the corner, and I'm still working on making holiday cards using the Merry Little Christmas collection.

Here's a set of three cards that I created using various pieces from the latest Christmas collection from Bella Blvd:

For my first card, I used a couple of the Ephemera Icons to make it look like ornaments hanging. I added a simple sentiment from the Ephemera Words to complete the card. Some snowflake sequins finished off the look of this Christmas card.

For my second card, I kept it nice and simple. I added the cute reindeer from one of the Merry Little Christmas Bella Pops to a scalloped edge circle that I cut out. To finish off this project, I again used Ephemera Words to add a sentiment to my card.

Lastly, for my final card, I cut out more scalloped edged circles using some of the pretty patterned papers from the Merry Little Christmas collection. For one scalloped circle, I layered an ornament from the Ephemera Icons pack. On the other scalloped circle, I added one of the circular stickers with a sentiment from the Doohickey Sticker sheet. To complete the look of this card, I added some coordinating stickers from the collection with pretty sequins.

What do you think of these cards using the Merry Little Christmas Collection?! I think the Ephemera Icons, Ephemera Words, and Bella Pops made cardmaking a breeze for me! I was able to add a cute embellishment to the front of my card and VOILA!

Cards using Merry Little Christmas

Hi, Bella friends, it's Kim and I'm back to share three Christmas cards that I made using the fabulous Merry Little Christmas collection. I have loved working with this stunning collection,  it is filled with so many beautiful items. I adore the colors and all the fun embellishments and of course, the ephemera words are perfect for card making, plus they make great titles or wordy bits on your layouts.

For the first card, I cut my background paper and popped it up with foam tape. I decided on Merry & Bright as my sentiment and added borders under it for emphasis. I used a scalloped circle from the Countdown & Tags pack and then, I added the adorable Bella-Pops moose and the moose puffy sticker.

To finish this fun card, I used more of the Bella-Pops, the adorable little bird and mushrooms with the red cardinal. They are too cute.

For my second card, I started by creating four layers and separating most of them with foam tape. I used the beautiful swag chipboard piece underneath my sentiment.

On top of the sentiment, I added the adorable reindeer and then a few of the puffy and epoxy poinsettias to pull out the flowers in the swag.

For my final card today, I used a large word phrase and added a border at the bottom and an additional sentiment on the top. I embellished it with the chipboard ornaments, puffy stickers and the large ephemera ornament. To add more texture to this card, I pulled some red burlap twine from my stash and wrapped it around the top.

I love adding Puffy stickers and Bella-Pops, they are absolutely some of my favorites and I used plenty of them on my cards along with the Epoxy stickers. I love the dimension they all add to projects.

Hello friends! Erica here on the blog today sharing some fun holiday cards using the Merry Little Christmas collection.

I really love using cut files on my projects so I knew I would be using them on some cards! Lacey Ann Designs has a variety of different cut files designed just for card fronts! I picked 3 different designs that I thought would go great with the papers in the Merry Little Christmas collection. 

I loved picking papers to back each of the open spots in these card front cut files! This is a great way to showcase the pretty pattern papers in this collection!

Once the card fronts were backed I added foam adhesive to the back and adhered them to some card fronts. I used the Merry Little Everything ephemera icons and some of the ephemera words to embellish the card fronts. I just love how colorful they turned out!

Using the cutfiles to create the cards is a great way to use up smaller scraps of your collections! I hope you are inspired to give these card cut files a try with your Bella collections! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

Merry Little Christmas 3 Product Challenge with Maree Crozier

This week the Bella Creative team had a super fun challenge, to create with 3 new Bella products from the Merry Little Christmas Collection. The layout needed to included, Cut Outs, Puffy Stickers and Borders Paper. Here is what I came up with!

I love the Bella Borders paper, it makes it so easy to get lots of color and variety on the page all from one sheet of paper! I started by framing the page at the top and bottom with some border strips that I distressed all the edges of.

Then using puffy stickers I added some embellishments. Look at that cute little Santa!
I used three present stickers on the bottom of the layout and just adore the colors in this collection. The puffy stickers give such a gorgeous texture and shine to the page.

Next I used the Cut Outs. I picked the word Joy and the holly leaves. I filled them in with papers from the collection kit. The pink is so lovely!

Once I matted my photos and adhered them, I added the JOY title and added the word Christmas from the Puffy stickers on top. I think it adds a little interest when you layer products up.

My final touch to this layout is this gorgeous Bella Pop. It is just so adorable. The Bella Pop is called "Oh What Fun" and comes with two little red birds which I also positioned on the layout!

I loved making this layout. The Cut Outs make it so easy to create a fun layout easily. What 3 products do you reach for the most? Wishing you all a happy holiday season, I can't believe how fast Christmas comes around!

Hey there, it's Yvette! I'm so happy to be here today to share my latest layout with you. I had a blast creating it using the new 'Merry Little Christmas' collection from Bella Blvd. As part of the design team assignment, we were asked to incorporate three products from the collection: Cut-Outs, Puffy Stickers, and Border Paper. Playing around with these products was so much fun, and I can't wait to show you how it turned out!

 

 

I fell in love with every paper design in this collection, so I challenged myself to use almost every single one to back each letter in the I Heart Christmas cut-outs. After completing the task, I adhered the cut-outs to the center of the page.

 

 

I decided to use the puffy stickers instead of paper to fill the inside of the heart. I carefully placed them, ensuring they filled in as much space as possible. The stickers added a fun and playful touch to the project, and I was pleased with how it turned out.

 

 

Next, I cut two strips from the Border Paper and a few from the Merry Everything paper. Then, I distressed the edges of the strips. After that, I layered the strips over each other. I placed one on the top of the page and the other at the bottom.

 

 

Once I had the paper strips in place, it was time to add my photo and start getting creative with all the beautiful embellishments to capture those special holiday moments.

Merry Little Christmas l Kirei Baldwin

Hi everyone! It's all about the festive season and I love to scrap about the little traditions we have. For this layout I was focusing on using the Cut Outs, Borders paper and Puffy Stickers from the fabulous new Merry Little Christmas collection. 

For my background I decided to go with the Filled with Joy teal check patterned paper as I love the colour and thought it worked really well with the Borders paper. I wanted to do something different with the Borders paper so cut off all the border strips, distressed the edges then wove them together to create a background to sit my photo on. Once I had woven the strips together I trimmed off the ends until I was happy with the irregular look. Before sticking it down I added lots of gold splatters to the Filled with Joy paper, as you can't have a Christmas layout without sparkle!  

I mounted my photo using the pink spotted side of From the Heart paper, then distressed the edges for added texture before sticking down. 

For my title I wanted to use the word 'JOY' from the Celebrate Cut-Outs, firstly I painted it gold then once it was dry I backed it using the soft teal side of the Borders paper. I stuck that down using foam pads to add extra dimension. To finish off the title I used 'CHRISTMAS' from the Puffy Stickers and 'at' using the new Letter Scramble alpha stickers in Guacamole. 

Once the title was in place I could add some embellishments, though I didn't want to add too many as I didn't want to cover up too much of the pretty woven background! So I went for some trees from the coordinating Ephemera Icons and then tucked in some of the Puffy Stickers (trees, presents, bird and dots). I also couldn't resist tucking the cute Santa into the letter 'O'! Then I finished off with some journaling at the bottom of the layout.

Hi Bella friends,

I had so much fun making this cute Christmas layout with the new Merry Little Christmas collection and personalizing the title with some fabulous Letter Scramble alphas.

I started with a cream card stock base as the ephemera from this collection has a cream undertone. I just adore the pinks and teals in this collection, they are so pretty.

As soon as I saw the paper called 'Filled with Joy' I knew I wanted to fussy cute those ornaments and make them a feature on this layout. I also fussy the holly from the 'Borders' paper to make a little mantel for them to hang from. I dug into my stash for a holly stamp to add a little more detail under the holly border.

After mounting my picture of my daughter and our two kitties I added my title using the 'Merry' from the words ephemera and the Catsmas (is that even a word?) using the Letter Scramble alphas in the color Guacamole. It is so fun to create titles with these gorgeous alphas.

Next I worked on positioning and mounting the fussy cut ornaments. I mounted them on foam squares and attached some bakers twine so they appear hanging. I tucked the top of the twine up under the holly border.

Next I added some trees from the ephemera icons pack and added some detail to them using the beautiful epoxy stickers. I just love the shine they add to the layout.

Finally I added the sweet sleigh from the icon ephemera pack and the Bella Pop called 'Christmas Cheer'. I just adore this little Santa, is he not he cutest you have ever seen? The gifts and pink snowflakes from the Bella Pop gave the perfect finishing touch. I am so happy with how this layout turned out and am excited to see what you make with the new collection.
