We are wrapping up today's blog hop with one last project using the fantastic cut files from The Cut Shoppe along with Bella Blvd's new release, Make Your Mark.

For my layout I used the cut file Tall Type Alpha from The Cut Shoppe for my title work. It was the launching pad for my whole page. When I saw that file, I did a little *gasp*, because I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. It was perfect for creating a title with a little color brought in from the handprinted solid colors on the b-sides of the 6x8" paper pad in Make Your Mark. 

I used lots of paper pieces from Make Your Mark to bring in gold and really emphasize the "beauty" sentiment from the title. I just LOVE that I could use the word "wild" as a part of my title - it really added to the title, and further emphasized the silly selfie photos of my kids - they surely are opposites and two of a kind.

As a final touch, I added white puffy stickers to add dimension and interest without too much competing color. The white alphas were just perfect for the in between words "and the" in my title work as well - giving all the glory to the super fun cut file alphas!

"Faith, Hope, Love, Believe" Card by Amy Heller

Recently a member of our family has taken ill with a serious disease and I wanted to create a card to uplift her spirits in this difficult time. The Illustrated Faith Basics collection has all the right elements for creating a cheerful, yet meaningful greeting for me to send. I used the new 6x8" Paper Pads, both the patterned papers and the solid sides (I LOVE that you have both to choose from!), then I used Paper Pieces and a Sticker for my sentiments.

To finish things off, and to add texture and dimension, I added loose thread, and Enamel Dots and Hearts to further emphasize my sentiment. The final details were with the machine stitching that I always love to add to pull together colors and add that little extra texture to my design.
