Hello Bella Blvd Friends! So happy to be here with Dorymar to share how we are using Fa La La and Bella Besties in our Winter themed projects with you today. I'm using my Traveler's Notebook sized Life Crafted album for this project. I pulled lots of blues, a little aqua, green, and even lavender to give me the cool Winter colors. From Fa La La pattern papers I pulled Christmas Village and All I want for Christmas, and from Bella Besties I pulled Blueberry, Ice, Gulf, and Plum. To create a Winter texture to my background, I used the Geometric Hexagon background cut file from white cardstock. I focused on backing the background along one row of Hexagons using the pattern papers I selected with an ombre feel, but adding a pop of the green pattern paper in the center of each one. For my title, I couldn't resist using the Huddle Up cut file to go with our New Year's family walk. To make my title pop more against the background, I backed it and trimmed it to fit against the Plum Bella Besties Ombre side.
For my journaling, I typed on white cardstock and trimmed it to put at the bottom to flow with the design. Then to finish this, I continued pulling cool Winter colors from Aria Alphabet Stickers in Blueberry, Florence Alphabet Stickers in Plum, Fa La La Chipboard, Die Cuts and Bella Pops, Snow Designer Washi, Pennants Shapes, and Puffy Star Stickers in Cotton Candy.
Even though it rarely snows and looks more like Fall where I live in the Winter time, you can still create Winter themed projects by pulling cool Winter colors. Hope you give this a try in your next Winter project!
Welcome, all Bella Blvd friends! It's me Sarah up on the blog today, and I hope you are all having a wonderful day thus far. Today, I wanted to share one of my latest layouts using the Fa La La collection and Bella Besties.
So what's awesome about the Fa La La collection is that you can also use it for non-Christmas related projects too! I used it to create this wintery themed layout.
Okay, so obviously I had to use the cute little characters from the Fa La La collection. The snowmen and the penguins are my absolute favorites; they look so cozy bundled up with their snow gear right?!
To create this layout, I used two photos as my main focus. Then I added a handful of embellishment clusters around my photos by painting circles with watercolor and adding various stickers and ephemera icons.
I also added Florence alphabet stickers for the "Brr"s in the embellishment clusters. I used different shades of pinks that coordinate with the Fa La La collection to add pops of color to my layout.
I wanted to utilize some of my Bella Besties, so I added various stars and hearts to the "R"s in the "Brr"s that you'll see pictured in these photos. It's such a cute, and super easy way to jazz up those letters.
That's all I have for today. I hope I was able to inspire you with this wintery layout using the Fa La La collection. If you end up creating something, we'd love to see it. Don't forget to share your finished projects with all of us at Bella on our Facebook page. We'd love to see it!
And as always, thanks for reading through my post and taking a look at my project today! It's totally appreciated. I love getting to create and share my creativity with all.
Until next time,
Sarah.

Good day Bella friends! On today's layout, I mixed the Fa La La collection with some Bella Besties and I love how it turned out. You absolutely can not go wrong with the Bella Besties - they come in all of the amazing Bella Blvd colors to mix and match every collection just perfectly! And even though the Fa La La collection is Christmas themed, I simply just pulled out all of the wonderful winter parts of it to document photos of my niece in her new favorite winter hat!
I used the Bella Besties paper in Gulf and a star shaped punch to make my own 'snowflake' embellishments. I simply just punched out a whole bunch of stars and layered the stars on top of each other making sure the heart patterned side was on top and the ombre side was on the bottom. But you could always layer them differently if you'd like! I then used foam adhesive to add Fa La La die cut embellishments to each flake. I kind of love how they turned out!
I had so much fun creating the title design on the page too! I used the awesome Aria Puffy Alphabet Stickers in Gulf to spell 'winter' and I finished the title with an Acrylic Word 'joy'. I then embellished the title with Fa La La Doohickey Stickers, Chipboard Stickers, ephemera die cuts, and a snowman Bella Pop. And of course I added a few more of my homemade snowflakes!
Did you notice that I also used the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre Patterned Paper in Punch as my background paper?! I absolutely love using the Hearts & Ombre papers for easy, amazing backgrounds! And isn't that Fa La La snowman just THE CUTEST?! He definitely puts a smile on my face. :)
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to grab some of the Fa La La and Bella Besties collections for your next layout or project! Have a great day everyone!

it's Lisa back on the blog and today I'm sharing a winter layout, I created using the Falala collection and Bella Besties.
To start, I went through the Fa La La collection and gathered EVERYTHING that could be used in a winter layout. So everything blue and pink and all the elements that had nothing green or Christmas-like. I had some aqua, pink, blue and peach trees, hearts, snowflakes and some cute penguins and snowmen. I really love this color-combo... it's so bright and fresh.
For my background, I absolutely wanted to use the patterned papers from the collection and some matching Bella Besties papers. I chose the ones that I wanted, creating this ombre kinda look. So I went from light pink to dark pink and then from aqua to dark blue and light blue. I ripped an irregular strip from all of the papers, paying attention to have this white border. Then I placed all of the strips on my white cardstock to see how it would look. I loved it.
I then attached all of the papers, overlapping them and I machine-stitched every strip before attaching the next one. Then I bent up the edges of each strip.
I put some gesso on my layout, concentrating on the middle and then I used my acrylic inks to put some matching paint underneath each strip, to create some texture and different tones of color.
See the layers and texture on this...? IN LOVE! :)
The picture that I used, is one I took the day before. We had the first snow on that day and I used the occasion to quickly go out and take some shots with the snow in the background and on my hair.
I matted it with white paper and then some layers of vellum.
Then came the fun part... placing all of the cute embellishments on the layout. I placed everything in a fun, but organized way, creating this kind of wavy shape, to keep the whole thing balanced and leaving some space for the title.
For the title, I used the puffy Aria alphas and didn't come up with something better than "Catching snowflakes"... I'm really not very creative when it comes to titles... LOL! :)
I really really like how this layout turned out and I hope you like it too. You know, you don't need to have a scrapbooking collection for every occasion or every season. You just need to find the right papers and colors to match your theme :)
Hello Bella fans, it's Winter theme week and today I want to show you a fun and easy Winter Layout featuring the Falala Collection, this collection is very versatile because it allows you to work on Christmas and winter themes in a single collection. It’s AWESOME!
I selected a white cardstock as a base of my layout and reduced it to 11.25 x11.25 and adhered it to the Christmas Village Paper, then I added some pink and blue splatters with Dye ink and water to give a mixed media touch! This brings me the opportunity to have fun and match my background with the adorable colors of the collection.
As a title of my project, I selected the “I Love Winter” digital file from Bella Blvd Silhouette Store. I backed all the letters with different patterned papers of the collection mixed with the new Hearts and Ombré Bella Besties papers. Around each letter, with a blue pen, I drew little dots to highlight the letters. Then I adhered the big title with foam tape in the center of my background to add a beautiful layer.
The Falala Collection includes the cutest winter snowmen and penguins as a die-cut and Bella pops. I couldn’t resist using the “Snow in Love” Bella pops to this layout, this was the perfect touch for my layout.
I love how this project turned out and I recommend you stop by Bella Blvd Silhouette Store and check the fun old and new digital designs to create a beautiful project. Thanks for stopping by today!
Happy crafting!
Falala Collection, Snow in Love Bella Pops, I Love Winter digital file,
Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today sharing a new layout for Cut Outs week! Have you had a chance to create with these yet? They are awesome. If you don't own a die cutting machine or if you do and are simply short on time or don't want to fuss with the process, these Cut Outs are perfect! They come to you precut and ready for any project. They now even come with instructions and templates which makes creating with them even easier. There are quite a few different designs that you can find here. I'll have a process video that is at the end of this post so please make sure and check it out! Here's my layout:
For this layout, I chose the Wonderland Cut Outs because they were perfect for the photos that I wanted to document. We ended up getting a pool put in and it happened to be completed (electrical and heating need to still be hooked up) the day before Christmas. After the boys opened up their presents on Christmas Day, they had a wild idea of jumping in the pool even thought it was freezing. It was the best moment and it was something I wanted to document for sure. We have worked so hard to get the pool and have saved and planned for 2 years so this was very exciting and cold of course lol.
I used the Fa La La collection and backed the Cut Outs using the patterned papers in blues, pinks and reds. I popped them up on foam tape and created somewhat of a square design by having the snowflake sections frame everything. Before adhering the pieces down, I did some mixed media on a piece of white cardstock using some Shimmerz Paints from my stash.
After my background was dry, I went ahead and adhered everything down including my photos. I matted them using a piece of the Blueberry Freehand Graph and Dot 6x6 patterned paper. I love the pop of the darker blue. I also added a pink scalloped border sticker from the Cardstock Sticker sheet and a white Festive Cute Clip to the top photo.
Next, I went through the Ephemera Icons and layered up a few pieces around my page. I also pulled the adorable Snowmen Bella Pops and thought they were perfect since it was a cold, wintery day!
Then, I added a few bits of tangled thread using the same color scheme around the page and also pulled in some of the matte enamel stickers as well. They really look like candy buttons!
Next, I got out the Ciao Chip chipboard stickers and adhered the snowflakes around my page.
I added onto the title using the White Aria Alpha stickers and also used the Florence Alphas in Blueberry to add the date. Lastly, I took a few white Epoxy hearts and added some into my embellishment clusters. For my journaling, I used a skinny Posca paint pen and didn't realize that the ink would still be pretty thick. I think I'll stick with my normal journaling pens next time!
One last shot of the layout:
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I had so much fun with this layout and I hope that I've inspired you to create or even go and purchase some Cut Outs! They really are super convenient and so nice to have on hand. The possibilities are endless and you get multiple Cut Outs in each package, so you'd be able to create a few projects with just one. Thanks again and I'll see you in my next post!

Hello Bella Blvd Friends! Today, I'm using the Over the Rainbow Cut Outs in my Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters Scrapbook. The pages are about 7.25x9 to give you an idea. I used the full rainbow, trimming it to go across both pages, and trimming just the tip off to give it more of a 'floating' feel. Since I'm using the Over the Rainbow Cut Outs, I went with the ombre side of Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre Oyster to really make the rainbow colors pop.
I printed my photos to about 3x4, then placed under each of the clouds, trimmed and adhered. I happened upon this selfie of my 12-year old on my phone, and with her almost being a teenager, the rainbow was a perfect to fit to her changing personality. I backed the rainbow part of the Cut Outs with Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre Pickle Juice, McIntosch, Plum, Ice, Bell Pepper, and Orange. I filled these areas with coordinating colors from Guacamole DooDads; Florence Alphabet Stickers in McIntosch, Bell Pepper, Ice, and Pickle Juice; Trinkets in Bell Pepper, Blueberry, Plum, McIntosch, and Orange.
The Over the Rainbow Cut Outs comes with a separate row of clouds. I decided to trim them in half, and tuck them under my Oyster Bella Besties paper on either side for a tone on tone texture to the edges.
To finish, I used the Hotness Acrylic Word, Pennants, and the Trinkets in Black.
Loved using the Cut Outs! My first time too. They are so nice to have ready to go, and then gives you so many options to use them. So try them out as I did here by using photos behind parts of the Cut Outs, fill the rest with Bella Besties and coordinating colors, then use some of the Cut Outs tucked under your background pattern paper for a tone on tone and textured look! Have fun and hope you share!
today I'm back with a new layout using the Chloe collection.
When I thought about what I would create for this layout, an idea popped into my head, where I would make cat heads and use thread all around to stitch and add little embellishments, like beads and sequins.
I thought about the best way that I could do that and I decided to cut out white cat heads, in different sizes, adhere them to patterned papers in rainbow colors, cut them out, leaving a border and then stitch on that same border, adding the embellishments.
That's exactly how I did it and I think it turned out amazing!
For the background, I put gesso all over my white cardstock and then I used acrylic inks to create this mixed media rainbow design. I just put some drops of acrylic ink on the paper, smooshed it around with a brush, spritzed some water and let it spread on the page by turning the paper up and down. I repeated that with seven colors, until the rainbow was complete. I dried it with my heating tool and then added white splatters for more detail.
With all those cute sparkly cat heads, I didn't really need a lot more. I placed them on my paper the way that I liked and chose a photo of my cat, Kätti. I matted it on white paper and adhered it next to my self-made embellishments. Then I used two tags from the die-cuts pack to place behind the photo.
I then went through the die-cuts and chipboard stickers and grabbed all the pieces that I thought I could use. I placed them on my layout and then I also added some enamel hearts.
For my title, I used chipboard words. The "cat" one was gray. To make it stand out more, I painted it black using my black ink from Liquitex.
Then I adhered my title above and on the photo.
I really like how it turned out, especially the beads and sequins on the cat heads. :)
I hope you're inspired to create a cute cat layout using this super pretty collection,
Good day everyone! On today's layout I used the kitty-themed Chloe collection but just pulled out all of the general themed pieces to create a non-themed layout. I also mixed in some of the timeless and fabulous Bella Besties papers and embellishments!
I usually document all of the fun and good things about life, but the turning of the new year left me reflecting on how 2020 was kind of tough and changed me as a person. It felt SO GOOD to document this part of life as well. I love how this layout turned out!
Here I mixed general papers from the Chloe collection and some of the coordinating Bella Besties Hearts and Ombre patterned papers to create my own fun embellishments using hexagon and star shaped punch tools! I finished off each star with puffy stickers from the Bella Besties Trinkets Puffy Sticker Sheets! I also embellished the around the page with adorable Bella Blvd Heart Hugs, which are 3 dimensional corrugated cardboard stickers. I love the texture they add to my page!
My new favorite alphabet stickers have to be the awesome Aria Puffy Alphabet Stickers! Here I used the Ice and Punch Aria Alphas for the title. I used the Florence Number Stickers to finish off the title with 2021. All of Bella Blvds collections and Bella Besties papers and embellishments mix and match so well, wouldn't you say?!
What is your favorite Bella Blvd Bestie? Is it the Hearts & Ombre Patterned Papers or the Puffy Stickers? There are so many great choices, I can't pick just one! I had so much fun mixing them with the Chloe collection to create this fun and colorful layout! I hope you like it as much as I do!
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to grab some of the amazing Bella Besties and the Chloe collection to document a page about your self! Have a great day everyone!

Happy New Year, friends! This is Maryám and I am so excited to be back with a new layout. This week we are focusing on Chloe Collection paired with some Bella Besties, so for today's layout, I'll be using the collection I just mentioned to document a photo of our sweet cat.
To create my layout I started by printing my photos and journaling. From the beginning I knew that I wanted to create a grid design so when I choose the size of my photos I kept that idea in mind. After photos and journaling were printed, I went through the Chloe Ephemera Icons Set and selected some pieces I thought would go well my design but at the same time would help me tell the story I wanted to document.
Once I had all te pieces I needed, I grabbed an 8.5x11" iches white sheet of cardstock and adhered all the elements in place. Since I still have some empty space at the bottom of my journaling, grabbed now the Ephemera Words Set and choose some pieces- one for my title that says "You are one crazy cat!" and then three more to add around the page.
Last but not least, I fussy cut some hearts from the 12x12 Heart Warmer Patterned Paper and adhered them right below the title.
Now, Let's take a look at the final layout!
That's it for today! I hope you enjoyed this post and inspired you to create something new. If you have any questions just leave a comment below, and I’ll be happy to help you.
Have a great day!
