EiEiO with Bella Besties | Sarah Millerhouse

Hello! It's Sarah Millerhouse here, and I am excited to share a layout with you featuring the beautiful EiEiO collection paired up with Bella Besties!

For this layout, I started with a piece of patterned paper from the EiEiO collection for the background! I loved the subtle hexagons on that white background. I added gesso all the way across the middle section on the layout, and then I added a rainbow of mixed media on top of that. I knew I wanted to highlight the colors in my photos, along with all the beautiful colors in the collection, and a rainbow was the best way to do that! 

Next I added several strips of patterned paper across the middle of the layout at an angle. This was a great way to highlight the placement of my photos and draw your eye to those! I layered a few tags from the Ephemera Words set in the collection behind my photos and added ribbon to those. I also attached a couple of tabs from that same set on either side of my photos. 

Above my photos, I added the Sunrise Bella Blvd Cutfile to highlight what a beautiful sunny day we had in Jamaica! I cut both the cutfile and an offset layer (that I created using the Offset tool in the Cricut Design software) so that my sun had more pizazz! I distressed the edges of each sun ray and also added hand-stitching and Pops of Color to really make it shine!

Beside the sun, I added a couple of clouds that I cut out from the Rainbow Bella Blvd Cutfile and added Pops of Color to some of the dots on the patterned paper.

For my title, I started with Ciao Chip letters from the EiEiO collection and the "Memories" Acrylic Word from Bella Blvd above my photos. 

Below the photos, I finished the title with Aria Alphabet letters in Bell Pepper and Guacamole and words from the EiEiO Ephemera Word set. I added some Puffy Hearts stickers and a few more Pops of Color to finish off the layout! I loved creating this layout, and I hope it inspires you in some way!

Sketch Week | Tegan

Good day Bella Blvd friends! Are you loving Sketch Week?!? I know I sure am!

Here is a reminder of what this week's sketch is...

And here is my take on it using mostly the You Are My Sunshine collection! Spring is almost here and I am ready for it! 

I was more than happy to break out the sunny day embellishments! Hot air balloon and sun die cut ephemera pieces? Yes, please! 

Anyone else ready for rainbows and fireflies? Here I used more You Are My Sunshine embellishments such as the chipboard rainbow and the ephemera firefly diecut. I then decorated this cluster with puffy stickers from the Let Us Adore Him collection.

For the bottom design element I used the pretty butterfly patterned You Are My Sunshine Young and Free paper. It's one of my favorites from the collection! I then used phrase stickers from the Doohickey Sticker Sheet and some of the Bella Blvd Ice Dot Washi Tape. 

I absolutely love layouts that are full of color and Bella Blvd products help me achieve that look! I am also a huge fan of layering patterned papers like I did to anchor my photo. I am IN LOVE with that rainbow striped Sunshine Patterned Paper again from the You Are My Sunshine collection! To make the title, I used an acrylic Bella Blvd word (sweet) and white alphabet stickers from the You Are My Sunshine Doohickey Sticker Sheet.

You Are My Sunshine + Bella Besties Week Day 4 | Yarelys Rodriguez

Hey there Bella Friends! Hope you are having a wonderful day! Yarelys here to share with you a new layout! To make this layout I used the You Are My Sunshine collection and the Bella Besties. I also used the Heart Attack Cut-Out.

I started my layout by cutting the cut-out in two pieces, I wanted to use the bigger piece on the top and the smaller piece on the bottom of the layout. Next, I backed some of the hearts with the Bella Besties.

Once I finish backing the hearts, I glued the cut-out. Then, I glued the rest of the hearts and my photo with adhesive foam to give them dimension.

For my title I used the acrylic word Adorable. To finish my layout I added Doohickey, Ephemera, Heart Hugs, Bella-Pops, Puffy Stickers and white splatters.

The Perfect Day, 12x12 Layout | Melissa Mann

Good Morning, Bella friends!

This is Melissa with you this morning and I'm sharing a new project that uses a little bit of stuff from several collections :-)

The first thing I did was to layer a piece of white card stock on top of a piece of pattern paper from the Let's Go On An Adventure paper collection. I placed another panel of paper down the length of the layout on the right hand side and the used my sewing machine to stitch the diagonal lines. This created a bit of subtle movement on my project.

Next, I layered my three photos with two different pattern papers and layered them down the right hand side on the panel of pattern paper. I cut out part of my title using a digital die cut file from the Silhouette shop:  HERE. 

I combined the digital die cut phrase, an acrylic word, and some puffy alphabet stickers to create my title! Once I had my title in place, I further embellished the layout with die cuts, puffy stickers, and chipboard.

My Candy Girl Week Day 5 | Tarrah

Hi creative friends!

It's Tarrah back with you and today I am sharing a new layout featuring the gorgeous My Candy Girl collection. I decided to cut out one of the amazing coordinating cut files found in the Silhouette Design Store - the super cute birthday cake!

This took a little bit of time due to needing to cut so many different pieces in so many different colors.

I got all the pieces cut out and then started to piece the cake back together, I created the main base of the cake first and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! I turned the cake over and added foam tape underneath, I then adhered it to the teal heart paper from the My Candy Girl collection. I then started to add the cookie, cake pops and lollipops to the top of the cake, on the lower tier of the cake I added some of the super cute Sprinkles Epoxy Stickers. To the right of the cake, I added my photo which was perfect for this page as it is my niece on her birthday with her cake in front of her! I added one of the banner die-cuts from the Ephemera pack to the top of the photo, secured with a gorgeous Bella Bow clip and I also had to add the gorgeous little bow from the Pretty Piggy Bella Pop to my niece's hair in the photo, I think it looks so super cute in her hair! I added a few more die-cuts here near the photo and also some chipboard pieces and some Doohickey stickers too. The stickers I used on this layout help to tell the story of the photo and the overall theme of my layout.

My title is made up of the Florence alphabet stickers in Bell Pepper and I also used the gorgeous 'Birthday' acrylic word. Just near the title I also added the super cute teddy bear Bella Pop. 

On the left of the cake I added some more die-cuts and chipboard. I added the yellow chipboard heart to help with balancing out the colours on the page and to create visual triangle. I love the shadows that are created on the layout by using foam tape on some of the elements. Lastly I trimmed down the teal heart paper and adhered this to a plain white cardstock background. I then machine stitched around the edge to add some texture to my page.

Designer's Choice Week Day 2 | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and it's Free For All Week at Bella!  I am so ready for warmer days and for all of the color so I decided to use the You Are My Sunshine collection!  The bright colors and fun icons just make me so happy!  Make sure to check out my process video at the end of this post.  Here's my layout: 

 

 

I wanted to use a bunch of the patterned papers from the collection so I pulled out my doily border punch.  I trimmed 2"-3" inch strips of each and then ran each through the border punch.  Using the ombre side of the Bell Pepper Hearts and Ombre 12x12 paper as my base, I layered and adhered all of my strips down.  I lifted the edges in different places on each strip to give them a bit of interest and dimension.  

 

 

For my title, I used the "Today" acrylic piece and added onto it using the alphas from the Doohickey Cardstock Sticker Sheet.  

 

 

I thought the butterflies from the Summer Fun Cut Outs package would be great pops of white amongst all of the color.  I added glue to their centers and popped up their wings.  

 

 

Next, I created embellishment clusters using the Ephemera Icons, Puffy Stickers and Epoxy Stickers.

Sketch Week- Day 3 | Sarah K

Hello, Bella friends! Happy Wednesday! It's me Sarah (@redoaklines) back on the blog, and today I'm bringing you another awesome 12x12 layout inspired by this month's sketch. Have you seen it yet?! If not, here it is again for reference:

 

 

See! I told you it was a fun one! I love the circular design on this one and the use of two photos. I felt inspired to use the You Are My Sunshine collection for this layout.

Here's what I came up with:

 

I knew right away after seeing the big circle on the sketch that I wanted to use a big, bright sun, so I found the Sun cut file in the Silhouette Design store. To use the same sun that I used in this layout, find it here.

 

Like I mentioned before, I focused on using the You Are My Sunshine papers and embellishments because I knew that the bright, color palette in this collection would be perfect for that sun cut file. The name of the collection is "You Are My Sunshine" after all, hehe.

With a handful of products, this collection really brought out this sketch design. I used various patterned papers to back my photos, scattered some ephemera icons and a few stickers, and ta-da! 

 

However, instead of using the smaller circles shown in the sketch, I opted to use some ephemera icons to embellish my layout.

Let Us Adore Him & Cut Files Day 4 | Niki Rowland

Hey everyone! This is Niki (@nikiclairecreates) and here is a new layout and process video using the Let Us Adore Him collection which is super cute! This week we are all using cut files and I chose to use the Stripe Tree which is available from the Silhouette Design Store. I loved the colour scheme of the cut file graphic so decided to stick with that and cut it in red and pink.

I started with a white background which I mounted onto red heart paper from the Let Us Adore Him collection. I added a large yellow strip across the page. This paper is so pretty with the tone-on-tone yellow stars. I distressed the edges too of course!

 

I then added my photo which I turned into a pocket by only sticking on three sides. I added my cut file tree to the left of my photo together with lots of other ephemera trees. I love how this looks and I also added stars to the top of each of my other trees! I mirrored this on the right side of the photo too.

 

I added some ribbon to one of the ephemera tags and put this in my pocket behind the photo and wrote my journaling onto this.

For my title I added the word ‘Merry’ which is a green acrylic word across the bottom of my cut file tree. I also added the word ‘days’ using the cute red alphabet stickers on the 12x12 cardstock stickers from the Let Us Adore Him collection.

I added two clusters of ephemera flowers and stuck enamel dots all over the cut file tree – I love how this looks! I finished off with a few splatters of white paint. There is a process video below if you would like to watch along.

Let Us Adore Him + Cut Files Week- Day 1 | Tarrah

Hi creative friends and Happy New Year!

It's Tarrah back with you and today I am sharing a new layout featuring the gorgeous Let Us Adore Him collection together with a Bella Blvd co-ordinating cut file from the Silhouette Store. I chose the super cute Santa cut file, enlarged him slightly, had my Silhouette Cameo machine cut out each piece and then pieced him together. Isn't he gorgeous?

I then adhered him using foam tape to the left of a plain sheet of white cardstock. I love how he pops against the plain white background. I trimmed down the cardstock and matted the entire page on the Rebirth paper. I adhered my photo to the right of Santa, covering up his arm and so it looked as though he was cuddling us all! I tucked in a square die-cut piece at the top of the photo to add a pop of green to the page. As I was creating this page the colour scheme of red, white and green just came to me.

The photo I have documented is of my husband, 2 sons, our dog and my parents taken right before Christmas at a family get together. The green Christmas Family die-cut piece from the ephemera icons pack just had to go on my page, I added this piece to the bottom of my photo. I also placed the large December die-cut, tucked slightly under the photo at the bottom. I placed a sticker from the Doohickey Stickers and an enamel dot from the enamel dots pack.

 Overlapping Santa, I placed the 'Joy' acrylic word and finished the title placing the die-cut piece that says 'To The World' on top of the Joy word. I added the Family sticker from the Doohickey Stickers just above the Joy word and took some Christmas tree puffy stickers, adding these near Santa's arm. Beside Santa's head I placed a cut file piece from a previous project and a chipboard flower. I love how cute the holly die-cut looks added to Santa's hat too. To the right of my photo, I added a few chipboard pieces including the red heart and a Christmas tree. A few more small pieces of ephemera, stickers and enamel dots were added to finish the page. I also stamped the date stamp.

Let Us Adore Him + Cut Files | Nathalie

Hello Bella Blvd friends!

Nathalie with you today to continue with more inspiration for the Let Us Adore Him collection and Cut files week.   I am sure that most of you have a few photos from either the most recent or past Christmas celebrations.   Well, how about a fun a simple idea featuring this week's theme.

 

 

I wanted something fun and colorful for this page, so that it matches the mood of the photos!. Well, my choice was to create a background of colorful Christmas presents using a few Bella Blvd cut files and the patterned paper from Let Us Adore Him collection.

 

 

I used the Gift Wrapping, Tree and Present, Bow Gift, Heart Wrapped Present, Present cut files to cut all the pieces from papers from the collection, then used a bit of glue to keep the pieces together.

 

 

Once the presents were ready it was time to set the page in place.  I chose a Hearts & Ombre paper for the background of the page.  Then backed the pictures with patterned paper, and laid them on the center of the page.  I added a small, scalloped piece of chipboard to anchor the photos.  Here I used the die cut presents to surround the photos.  I just layered them in large clusters to the right and left of the photos.

 

 

Since the bulk of the focus is on the center of the page, I decided to elongate the design a bit.  I used two of the large scalloped border stickers from the Doohickey sticker sheet to frame the top edge of the page.  Then added a few extra embellishments to the top right corner of the photos.

 

 

The last thing was adding a title to the page. I am using a few of the Chipboard stickers from the collection, and combining it with the "Joy" acrylic word.   I added a few enamel dots around the page. 

 

 

I love how this turned out! All the color and patterns are what the photos needed to bring the festive feel!  Remember to share with us your finished creations!!

Let Us Adore Him and Bella Besties Day 2 | Tarrah

Hi creative friends and Merry Christmas!!

I hope you are all coping with the craziness of the silly season?! 

It's Tarrah back with you today to share a new scrapbook layout featuring the gorgeous Let Us Adore Him collection. This week my assignment was to create a project using the Let Us Adore Him collection together with Bella Besties. 

I decided to pull out my Silhouette Cameo machine and cut out some of the gorgeous bauble cut files by Bella Blvd using different colours of the Freehand Graph and Dot Bella Besties papers. Once I got these all cut, I assembled the baubles using foam and regular adhesive. I arranged these on a plain sheet of white cardstock and and adhered them at all different lengths on the page. I added a ripped piece of the gorgeous Purity paper to the top half of the page. I just love how every colour co-ordinates with Bella Blvd products. I documented a photo of my cutie pie niece and placed this amongst the baubles towards the right slightly.

At the bottom of the page I added the striped scalloped border sticker from the Doohickey sticker sheet and a few phrase and word stickers also to help tell my story. I added some enamel dots to the centres of 2 of the baubles and some star puffy stickers to another 2 baubles.   

On the left of my photo I placed the green Merry acrylic word that formed part of my title. The other half of my title is the circle die-cut Christmas piece from the ephemera pack, I placed this piece using foam tape just below the acrylic word. I added a few more circle die-cuts scattered around the page to compliment the baubles. Some of the smaller embellishments I added were the Christmas tree puffy stickers. Lastly I stamped the date stamp. 

I just love how my layout turned out and hope you are inspired in some way to pull out your Let Us Adore Him collection or perhaps you are inspired to purchase the collection?!
