It's Conny from the Daily Life of Creativity, and I'm excited to share the details of my latest project using the amazing Teen Vibe Carson Collection. This week's assignment was to create a layout with two or more photos, so I decided to work with four photos printed on 4 x 6 photo paper.
To begin, I carefully selected a Bella Besties 12 X 12 paper in Gingham & Stripes as the background. I tore pieces of the Control Freak, Just Chillin', and Let's Talk papers into specific measurements (4 X 12 and 2 X 12) to create layers, making sure to distress the edges for a textured look. The Bella cut-outs were then used to back up the MVP cut file, incorporating the Athletic, Control Freak, and Just Chillin' papers. To add dimension, I applied foam adhesive to the back of the cut-outs. As I assembled everything onto the 12 X 12 layout, I opted for the "LEGIT" word from the chipboard stickers as a part of the title.
Moving on to the photos, I started by making copies of each photo and distressing the papers they were going to be placed on. Carefully, I added a decorative scalloped sticker from the 12x12 sheet below the photos. I also included the words "BRUH" and "Today was a good day" to add a personal touch. To enhance the visual appeal, I placed a strip of paper, approximately an inch wide or slightly more, and created a small cluster with the shoes. To complete the layout, I incorporated a few ephemera pieces and some all-star epoxy stickers.
