Bella Blvd Studio Blog: Time to Travel l Kirei Baldwin

Have you ever used a really large title on your layout? Well, I've done just that with the fab Cut Outs from the Time to Travel collection! I had some photos from a recent trip to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands that I wanted to scrap. The pics are of Jameos del Agua which we visited as part of a tour doing the Cesar Manrique (local artist) sights around the island. It's a natural space created inside a volcanic tunnel and is pretty impressive!

I firstly backed the I Love Travel Cut Out using three different patterned papers (Love This Place!, Vacay Vibes and On the Go), I just had to use the palm trees and sun papers as there are plenty of both in Lanzarote!

To make the Cut Out pop from the background I used the yellow patterned paper (Daily Details) as a background, firstly trimming it down and distressing the edges before sticking down to the white cardstock. My three photos are backed with the black and white striped patterned paper (Road Trip).

I didn't use too many embellishments as I didn't want to cover up too much of the large title or my photos. So I picked out a few pieces from the Ephemera Icons and the Ephemera Words & Tags and added a couple of the Puffy Stickers. I added a layered star from the Camera Bella-Pops to the A in the title. Then I added the long phrase sticker from the Doohickey Stickers to the bottom of the layout. To finish off I added my journaling below my photos.
