Bella Blvd Studio Blog: Snow Day Pretty in Pink/Kim

Hi Bella friends, it's Kim and I'm here today with another layout using the amazing Merry Little Christmas collection. For this layout, I'm focusing on the winter aspect of this collection and I love it. I also added the awesome new Bella Besties Letter Scramble to my page. I love having the letters available in all the standard Bella colors.

We had gotten eighteen inches of snow and these are photos of my granddaughter outside in it. Since her snowsuit is pink, I reached for the gorgeous pinks in the collection and added the beautiful blues too.

I started by tearing my paper to fit in the corners of my page. Then, I added some festooning from my stash. I love texture on my pages and the festooning is definitely a fun way to add it. I backed my photos with the same pink dot paper and added small glassine bags behind them and then, popped them up on foam.

I used some stone Nuvo drops and a stencil from my stash for the center of my page. I love the look and texture that they give. The color was a good match with the pinks from the collection. I added my title using the new Letter Scramble and those alphas were perfect for my page. I love the way they help bring the attention to my photos.

Now, to my favorite part, adding all the embellishments. I used a lot of the adorable animals from the Ephemera Icons. I used words from the Ephemera Words and I love the scalloped circle with joy in the center. My granddaughter's middle name is Joy, so it was perfect to use it on a page for her. To finish my page, I used some epoxy birds and puffy stickers, plus the Trinket Puffy Stickers.
