Hello Bella friends, happy Wednesday to all!!! Today I’m super excited to share a new layout using the brand new “Lake Life” collection. Let me tell you this is such a cute and fun collection to play with, I had a blast creating my layout!
For the base of my layout I started with the brown woodgrain patterned paper as my base. I then decided to create a sort of patterned paper frame where I will have my photos, embellishments, title and journaling.
I used the plaid green and blue patterned paper a my first layer, cutting it at 10x11”. The green tree patterned paper is my second layer, I cut that one at 9,5 x10 1/4.
On the left bottom side of the green tree patterned paper I cut a slit into the paper and rolled it outward to add some texture and woodgrain feel to my layout.
I used three 3x4” photos that I placed in the top third of my layout. I loved the borders included in the sticker sheet and decided to use 2 of those, placing them under my photos to create a sort of shelf that holds my photos, title and some embellishments.
I then created 3 embellishment clusters to form my visual triangle. On two of them I used those cute fishing bears to represent my two girls feeding some Koi fishes at Lake Victoria.
I loved mixing and layering elements from the ephemera packs, sticker sheets, chipboard stickers, bella pops and other elements that I used to embellish.
For my journaling, I used one of the Daily Details” tag and tucked it under my border strip adding a little banner on top of it. I love including those tags as part of my journaling!
