I am so excited to share this fun new project with you all. It is using the fabulous new Lake Life Collection, which is so awesome! I just love the beautiful colors and it is so easy to use for any outdoor adventure.
I started which the gorgeous blue floral paper called 'Lakin' it easy' as the base background for my layout. Then I added a frame of white card stock and the blue wave paper called 'Boat waves' as the main background color. I machine stitched around the edge to create a border.
Next I used the 'Swim' cut out and filled it with the navy paper called 'Kayaking'. I filled the little splashes in with various other blues from the collection.
I added the word lake from the Words Ephemera pack and embellished with some waves and epoxy fish to finish the title.
I used 3 pics in this layout which I think balance nicely with the large title. I backed the pics in the green paper called 'Row your Oar'. I finished the layout by creating a couple of clusters using the awesome Bella pops called 'Flower fields' and some of the flower ephemera. The Bella Pops are so gorgeous and add such dimension and shine to the page.
I just adore the blue heart that says, "Let's go jump in the lake" because it fitted my story so well! It is literally what we did. I added some of the Epoxy stickers to the center of the flowers and they really look great.
I added a word phrase to make a subtitle and the color really tied my page together and made a nice finishing touch.
I am loving creating with this new collection, it is so fun and versatile. I really hope you get to check it out soon!
