Hello friends! So good to be back on the Bella Blvd blog. This week is all about Spring and incorporating the Bella Besties papers! I decided to use the You Are My Sunshine collection which is perfect for a Spring layout. I have documented a couple of photos of our beloved pup along with one of my daughters! They are just too cute!
To start off the layout, I grabbed the Bella Besties Graph + Dot papers in the colors Pickle Juice and Ice to create the background of the layout. I cut down the blue paper to 9"x12" and the green paper into 3 strips in the sizes 3"x9", 2"x9" and 1"x9". I use a hole-punch to punch out two holes at the top of the blue paper, added an eyelet and threaded some embroidery floss through to run along the edges of the paper. I used a punch in my stash to punch out a grass border on the green papers and layered them onto the blue paper. Finally, I added these papers onto some white cardstock.
The main element of the layout is definitely the Faithful Friend Cut-Out. It's these adorable paw prints and heart in a vertical design. I grabbed the Sunshine patterned paper from the collection and used the rainbow side to back the paw prints. Next, I added foam adhesive to the Cut-Out and adhered it to the layout. I tucked my photos slightly under the Cut-Out.
The last step was adding the embellishments. I used some hearts from the Trinkets Puffy Stickers in the color Ice + Gulf around the Cut-Out. Then I used some of the flowers from the Trinkets Puffy Stickers in the colors Pickle Juice and Guacamole to tuck into the grass pieces. I also added a cute sun to the top of the layout from the DooHickey Stickers.
