Hey friends! Brianna Lepper back with y'all today sharing my first layout using the new The North Pole collection. I LOVE this collection so much! It's so bright and happy and I had so much fun creating this page. Make sure to check out the process video at the end of this post!
This week, we are focusing on the Daily Details and Borders 12x12 patterned papers and using them creatively. I thought it would be fun to have the border strips stacked on top of each other. I've done similar designs in the past and love how so many different patterns can be on one page.
I fussy cut a few of the sweaters from one of the border strips and also trimmed out a few phrases to use as ephemera pieces as well. You should definitely not count these papers out! They can be used in so many different ways.
The Daily Details paper has a 3x4 card with the cutest phrase, so I fussy cut it out and used it as my title. It came out so perfect! I popped it up on foam tape and adhered it right under my photo.
I created a colorful mixed media background using some Shimmerz Paints from my stash and I love how all of the different border strips look on top of it. All of these colors make me so happy!
I matted my photo with the B side of the Borders paper and layered a tag from the Ephemera Words pack. I embellished using a few Ephemera pieces as well!
Next, I added in some tangled thread and sprinkled in a few Puffy Stickers.
