Inessa is back on the blog sharing my take on how to use the Borders and Daily Details papers from the North Pole collection. I love all the bright colors in this collection but for this layout I went with the pink, blue and white scheme with a bit of yellow.
I used the Snow Day as my background paper and layered the sheet of You Warm My Heart (pink diagonal) and white cardstock. The pink diagonal is cut to 11x11" while the cardstock is 10.5x10.5". For a snowy look, I added some mixed media on the white cardstock using a dot/snowflake stencil, Faded Jeans distress oxide ink and the glitter snowflake pops of color.
For my photo cluster, I used the penguin 3x4 piece from Daily Details and a 3x4 piece from Jammies (snowflake side). My photo is adhered right in between these two pieces. I also used the tags from the Daily Details paper and added some twine in red, blue and pink.
The title is built using the word "snowy" and snowflakes from the Ciao Chip, "winter" from the Borders paper and "day" using the Aria Puffy Stickers. I also added a few tiny hearts from the Doohickey sticker sheet in pink and blue.
