Hello friends! The summer is coming to an end here in the UK and days in the sunshine are getting fewer. As a result, I am keeping my little one busy indoors during the last few days of the summer break with craft activities. Let me show you how the School is Cool collection is perfect for it!
Sophia's attention span has come leaps and bounds over the summer holidays. I know three year olds tend to jump between activities but crafting has seen a real increase in interest and attention. Our last art session lasted a whole two and half hours so I knew I had to document it!
Although these are home activities and not school related, it was super easy for me to pair my story with the "School is cool" collection. I found tones of painting themed ephemeras and some of the wording elements worked perfectly with my photographs.
At the end of our session, Sophia was covered in paint so I felt that the "You do you" ephemera worked particularly well with this story.
She loved to say "I've got an idea!" when she creates so the lightbulb as well as the "Big ideas" ephemera just had their place on this page!
The cut-out was such a great and easy way to create my title! She was so independent during our craft session that Smarty pants was super appropriate.
I love to pair the Bella Besties papers with the collections. They make for a colorful yet more subtle background than a heavy pattern.
All the elements went to well together! I hope that you enjoyed this layout. Don't hesitate to check out the School is Cool collection at your local scrapbook store.
