Hello, Bella friends! Hope your week is going well. It's me Sarah (@redoaklines) hosting today's blog post, and I'm thrilled to share a layout that I created using one of the latest Bella collections. I'm delivering you some scrappy, crafty goodness featuring the School Is Cool collection.
Here's how I felt inspired:
These photos were from when my kids were in preschool. At first, I didn't want to have these photos taken, but I'm glad I got them done. They ended up being so cute. When I first saw the School is Cool collection on the Bella blog reveal, I knew I needed to scrap these photos.
I started by cutting out frames using some of the different patterned papers. I framed two of the photos; I added embellishments in the other frames.
The ephemera icons in this collection are amazing! All the pieces scream "back to school" vibes. Look at how cute the red school and that "A+" star is in the detail photo below! Both of them are perfect for these preschool photos.
And if you look even closer, I added the "hello SCHOOL" to work as a title for my layout.
You can't go wrong with the iconic school themed ephemera - a box of crayons and a school bus! I added those two pieces to a couple of my frames. I embellished around them with some epoxy stickers, as well as an acrylic star.
Around the other frames, I added more star epoxy stickers and acrylic stars. It's amazing how much color some simple stars can add to a project.
That's a wrap! What do you all think of this new School is Cool collection?! Does it inspire you to get some of those school photos into your scrapbooks?!
As always, thanks for letting me share my work with you today, and thanks for following along. Use #bellablvd or #bellablvdllc to tag us on social media if you use Bella products. We'd all love to see it.
Until next time,
