Hello everyone! Hope you are having an awesome week. Today I am sharing a Fireworks & Freedom layout that I put together documenting a photo of my 3 girls on the 4th back in 2017.
To make the background, I grabbed a cut file named Seeing Stars Cut File from Bella Blvd. I cut it out from the patterned paper named "Juicy Fruits" and adhered it onto some white cardstock, leaving a white boarder around the edges.
I decided to that I wanted a representation of the United States so I found this USA Map cut file from Bella Blvd that would work perfectly. I simply omitted the 'USA' title on the cut file and cut the rest out. I grabbed the patterned paper "Borders" and adhered it onto of the cut file. I trimmed around the edges and used my distress tool to give a fun finish to the cut file. I also added some stitching around the cut file using some white embroidery floss. This really helped the cut file pop off of the page.
Next, I worked on the title and photo placement. I added my photo on the right side of the cut file and created a cluster to the left of my photo. I used an ephemera piece that said 'Happy Birthday America' as my title and added 2 stars and another USA map ephemera piece to the cluster. I also added the year the photo was taken from the Florence Alphabet Stickers in the color white on top of the photo itself. I kept the rest of the embellishing very simple as I already had a lot going on with the patterned paper on top of the USA map cut file. I only used some of the Acrylic Shapes from the 'Patriotic Stars' pack to add next to some of the stars on the background paper. This gave the perfect finishing touch to a fun and patriotic layout!
Thank you all for stopping by the Bella Blvd blog today. I hope you love this layout as much as I do. See you next time!
