Hello everyone! Hope you are ready to have a fantastic week. For the Bella Blvd Creative Team, this week's focus is on the You Are My Sunshine collection. I chose to document a photo of our oldest daughter and my husband at a family wedding.
To start off the layout, I cut a large circle from the patterned paper named 'Sunshine' and adhered it onto white cardstock. This will be the foundation of where all of my other circular elements will be. I did a zig-zag stitch around the circle to create a sun-like image. I also added some Nuvo drops in the color 'Dandelion' by the stitching to further accentuate the sun. I also added a border around my layout using the patterned paper named 'Everyday Magic'.
Next, I cut my photo in a circle and added a vellum circle behind it. I also cut some circles from the patterned papers 'Daily Details'. I used the multi-colored hearts, rainbow quote and hot air balloon pieces from that paper. I also cut out the "Hello Sunshine" piece to represent the title of my layout. I adhered these next to my photo and at the top left of the sun.
Lastly, I worked on adding a few more details to the circle clusters. I grabbed the patterned paper named 'Happy Thoughts', fussy cut out the colored polka dots and added them to the clusters. I also adhered some flowers from the 'Hello Summer' epoxy stickers as well as some butterflies fussy cut from the patterned paper 'Young & Free'.
