Hi friends, Inessa here with my first creative team member layout…woo hoo! I’m currently working with the Time to Travel collection and decided to document our recent family Spring Break trip with it. I love the bold colors and all of the icons. The best part is that you can use it for any type of travel, near and far, road trip or air or just a local outing. And I can see plenty of layouts to document all of the moments with kids, going on adventures to the park.
I love a good cut file so I decided to use the Family Trip cut out, backed with the following patterned papers: Let’s Get Lost (A and B sides), Freeway, Daily Details, and Back Roads. I then built a cluster of photos and ephemera to center the layout with the title at the bottom of the page. I used the Aria and Florence alphas in white to complete my title.
With red and black as the standout colors in my photo, I used the backsides of Photo Op and Road Trip papers for my background. I love the bold stripe of the black and white as the border.
The last step for me was to add all of clusters of embellishments to fill out the page. I used pieces from the Doohickey sheet, Ephemera Icons and Ephemera Words and Tags. I used my banner punch to punch out 2 flags in shades of blue and layered the travel banner stickers on top with pop dots.
I love adding little surprises to my layouts so for this one I wrote the actual flight number from our trip on the tag. Hope you enjoyed this and see you next time!
