Happy Monday, Bella friends. Hope your weekend was swell. It's me Sarah (@redoaklines) on the blog today, and I have a new layout to share using the To The Moon Collection. I wanted to share how I used it with the Hearts & Ombre collection and stick with a love themed project.
Here's what I came up with:
It's not a traditional Valentine-ish project with lots of pinks and reds, but I still wanted to document the love I have for one of our dogs! I added some Bella Heart Hugs, so it totally passes as a lovey dovey layout, right?! Hah!
I used Bella cut files and coordinating lots of Hearts & Ombre papers to create this layout. All of the Bella cut files can be found in the Silhouette Design Store. The first cut file I used was the Lanterns cut file to cut out the green and blue circles.
Then, with another ombre paper, I cut out the You Color My World cut file. The play on words, "You Color My World" goes along with the To the Moon collection so perfectly, and I love that this cut file has two different fonts in its design.
Next, I cut out the I Love You cut file using the same ombre paper that I used for the "You Color My World" die cut. I used the backside of the heart cut out to bring out more of that reddish color.
I added a variety of other fun embellishments from the To the Moon collection to complete the look of my layout. That would include various puffy stickers, Doohickey stickers, and Ciao Chips.
Lastly, to create more of that starry look, I stamped stars all over my white cardstock paper.
That's all I have for now! Don't you just love this To The Moon collection. It's such a fun one to use, even those pet layouts. Let's be real - documenting the love you have with your pets is a must! Also, can I just reiterate how much I adore the Hearts & Ombre collection. The papers will always coordinate with all of the Bella collections, so there is no need to color match when creating! Talk about convenience!
