This is Melissa here today and I have a new project using the Let Us Adore Him collection and the fabulous sketch for this month!
I used a digital cut file for my white card stock background from the Bella Blvd Silhouette shop to create the stars and circles. I layered the white cardstock over a piece of pattern paper from the Let Us Adore Him paper collection. I love the multi-colored striped sheets that are in each collection and this made the perfect background to get a different peek of color through the the cut-out stars and circles on my background.
I splattered some ink in shades of red and black on my background and let that dry. While the ink was drying, I cut out three trees using the Evergreen Forest digital cut file from the Bella Blvd Silhouette shop and then distressed the edges of them with a sanding block. These were then stitched down on my layout using my sewing machine.
On each of my trees, I "decorated" them with small punched out shapes from more pattern papers from the Let Us Adore Him papers. I also used a couple of die-cut trees from the Ephemera pack.
Once my background was completed, I layered my photo with a couple of pieces of pattern paper and vellum. These were adhered down and then I furthered layered some more die-cut pieces and punched out stars around it. I placed my title above my photo using the Florence and Aria alphabet stickers. My journaling was typed out and placed in the upper left hand corner.
