The Let Us Adore Him collection is so very beautiful, vibrant, and meaningful. I absolutely loved digging through each piece of ephemera and all the tiny detailed embellishments in the collection. The patterned paper is versatile and FULL of color. This speaks to me in every way!
For this layout, the design was fairly simple. The fun is in the details! For the composition of the page, I used all of my papers, photos, and embellishments centered on one horizontal and one vertical line.
I started the page by adding circles of distress ink along the vertical line. I knew I wanted my photos and embellishments to be circular, so I applied the ink in the same way. I matched distress inks to the paper and used six colors: prize ribbon (blue), mowed lawn (green), lucky clover (turquoise), fossilized amber (golden yellow), picked raspberry (pink), and candied apple (red). The inks can be difficult to photograph because of the varied layers, but in real life, these colors match the patterned papers perfectly! Once the inks were almost dry, I added splatters of white acrylic paint.
I then added my patterned papers along the horizontal line. I tore three strips and paper and used my distressing tool to further distress the torn edge.
From this point, it was all photos and embellishments! I used the Ciao Chip pieces from the collection for the title. I also used the puffy stickers, enamels, washi tape, and both packages of ephemera from Let Is Adore Him.
I enjoyed layering everything up and including small details to enhance the joy I feel when looking at these photos of my kids…They are, after all, the greatest gifts He has given me!
