Hi creative friends!
It's Tarrah back with you today and I am very excited to be sharing my first layout featuring the gorgeous new You Are My Sunshine collection! This collection is stunning with the amazing colors and elements included! If you haven't yet got this collection, you need to get it! You will not be disappointed!
I chose a cute photo of one of my nieces wearing a summery rainbow dress, it is the perfect photo to document with this collection!
I chose the Daily Details paper for my background, I traced around a dinner plate with a pencil to add the circle to my page, I machine stitched it with white thread however it did not show as much as I would have liked so I went over the stitching with a light black marker. I trimmed down the Daily Details paper and then backed it against the Everyday Magic paper.
I trimmed a small piece of the thin rainbow striped paper and layered it under my photo, I tore the very bottom of the paper to add some texture. I decided to place my photo on the left of the page and to balance the left with the right I added my title spelt out with Aria puffy alphabet stickers. Between each of the words, I added an embellishment including puffy stickers and die-cuts.
Above my photo I added some of the super cute cloud chipboard pieces and tucked in one of the sun die-cuts. To help draw the viewers eye towards the photo, I created a few embellishment clusters around the photo. On the right of the photo, I added one of the tags and tied some twine through the hole at the top. I layered one of the pretty butterfly die-cuts on top of the tag. At the bottom of the photo, I placed the green scalloped chipboard border and I added one of those gorgeous bicycle Bella Pops here too! On the left of my photo I added a puffy butterfly sticker and some more die-cuts too. I tucked in one of the Doohickey tab stickers and placed the yellow chipboard heart.
To finish my page I stamped the date stamp, added some word die-cuts and finished adding a few smaller embellishments like the puffy stickers.
