Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here with you today and I hope y'all had a great weekend!! It's To The Moon + Bella Besties this week and we are creating some Summer layouts! I had the perfect photo for this week! It's of my youngest son jumping into the pool and I snapped it at the perfect moment where it looks like he's tip toeing on the surface of the water. So of course, my title played off of it a bit and had to be "Walking on Sunshine". Here's my layout:
To start, I created some paper rosettes in a few different sizes using the Hearts & Ombre papers in Black, Gulf and Blueberry. I ended up putting the ombre sides face up since they kind of look like planets to me and went with the whole To The Moon collection vibe.
For the foundation of my page, I used the hearts side of the Hearts & Ombre paper in white and adhered all of my rosettes down. I matted my photo using patterned papers from the collection and adhered it to the largest rosette. I also added in the "play" acrylic piece from the Explore & Play set. It fit perfectly in the white space of my photo and made a great subtitle.
Next, I started working on my title. I pulled the Aria Alphas in Orange, Blueberry and Bell Pepper and created my title with them. I thought it would be fun to have the words go along the perimeter of the rosettes and it turned out super cute!
For my embellishments, I added them straight onto each of the rosettes and created little clusters on each one. I used the Heart Hugs in Rainy Day and Black & White, I also pulled out the Sun Bella Pop from the collection and adhered that down and tucked a Ciao Chip cloud sticker right underneath it.
Here's one with one of the Rainy Day Heart Hugs:
I also pulled in some of the Trinkets Puffy Stickers in Blueberry and White and added those into a few clusters. I added in a few of the stickers from the Word Salad Booklet and tucked in some tangled thread in matching colors around the page.
I love how this page turned out! The rosettes give a lot of interest and they also are a perfect way to add different embellishments to your layout. Have you tried making them before? They're super simple and so fun!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope that I've inspired you in some way today! The To The Moon collection is so fun and I really enjoyed creating a Summer layout with it! Have a great week friends and I'll see you in my next post!
