Stars and Stripes Week Day 3 | Tarrah

Hi Bella friends, hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend?

It's Tarrah back with you and today I am sharing a new scrapbook layout featuring

the gorgeous Fireworks and Freedom collection for Stars and Stripes Week!

I started by cutting out the awesome Seeing Stars background cut file found in the Silhouette Design store on white cardstock, I then backed the white cardstock with the 'B' side of the Juicy Fruits paper (the red floral side) and I trimmed it all down so that I could mat the entire layout with the 'B' side of the Love the USA paper (the blue star side). I love how the stars in the background give subtle detail to my page.

As I am Australian, I don't celebrate 4th of July however we celebrate Australia Day and I have SO many photos of red, white and blue as these are also our flag colors! This photo is of my youngest son a few years ago down at the water on Australia Day, we have our day in Summer also so it's always hot and perfect weather for swimming and boating.

Next I took the red and white stripe washi tape and added a strip to the top and bottom of the white cardstock edges. From the Doohickey sticker sheet, I took the small blue scalloped sticker and placed it at the top under the washi tape. I also took part of the large blue star and red stripe scalloped sticker and placed it under my photo. I did pop up this scalloped sticker as I wanted to place my title, the Memories acrylic word underneath the scallops.

Under my photo I layered a piece of the 'B' side of the Daily Details paper (the red plaid side) and also some of the ephemera too. At the top of my photo, I added the Fun die-cut banner from the ephemera words pack overlapping it on the photo. I also pulled out the Red, white and blue phrase and the Celebrate word and added these to the bottom left of my photo. I pulled out many of the die-cuts from the Ephemera Icons pack including the glasses and a few of the stars, the glasses I placed at the bottom right of my photo and the stars are scattered around and popped up with foam dots for dimension.

To further embellish my page I added one of the large epoxy stickers to the right of my photo and placed some more smaller Doohickey stickers around. I also wanted to add some more stars in blue so I grabbed the Blueberry Trinket Puffy stickers and the Mcintosh Trinket Puffy stickers and added a few of the small stars and arrows around the page. Lastly I took 2 of the blue photo corner stickers from the Doohickey sticker sheet and added one at the top right of my photo and the other at the bottom left of the title and finally I stamped the date stamp under the title.

Stars and Stripes Week Day 2 | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper back with you today sharing a super festive July 4th layout using the Fireworks & Freedom  collection!  I also paired it with the Time For Fireworks Bella Blvd cut file.  Did you know that Bella is always releasing new cut files?  Make sure to visit the Bella Blvd section here to view all of them!  Let's get to my layout, I had soooo much fun creating this page.  I love this collection and who doesn't love documenting such a great holiday!  

 

 

To start, I cut the cut file out on white textured cardstock.  While I was still in my Silhouette software, I went ahead and offset the backing pieces to the letters and cut them out using the Love The USA, Daily Details and Borders 12x12 patterned papers.  This made backing the cut file so much easier for me in the end.  

 

 

I wanted to create some stripes for my background and for the cut file to sit on, so I cut 2" strips out of the Land That I Love, Patriotic, Truck Parade and Love The USA 12x12 patterned papers, roughed up the edges and adhered them down.   I then popped the entire cut file up on foam tape and adhered it right to the middle of my page.  

 

 

The cut file had the perfect place for me to set my photo into and I ended up tucking it right in that empty space!  But first, I matted it using some scraps and then added my journaling to one of the ephemera word bubble pieces and tucked it right under my photo layers.  Next, I added a Ciao Chip sticker and one of the Epoxy Icons stickers to the corner of my photo.  

 

There is this super cute American Flag heart on the Daily Details cut apart sheet, so I fussy cut it out and used it as an embellishment.  I popped it up on some foam tape, added some red and white tangled thread and found the cutest red truck ephemera piece to adhere down next to it.  

 

 

I felt like the bottom right of the page needed a little something, so I adhered one of the firework ephemera pieces down and layered a chipboard star right on top.  To add a circular element, I pulled in one of the epoxy stickers and finished that cluster off with some blue tangled thread.  Super simple!

 

 

To finish off my layout, I added one more firework ephemera piece to the top left of the cut file and then got out my Trinkets Puffy Stickers in McIntosh and scattered some of the stars around the clusters.  

 

 

This layout is super patriotic and so fun and totally matches my boys shirts in the photo.  I had a lot of fun creating it and hope that you like it!  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope that I've inspired you in some way!  I'll see you in my next post friends!

To The Moon Week Day 6 | Karlla

Hello Bella BLVD friends,

Karlla here and I'm very happy to share my new layout with you!

 I'm so in love with the "To the Moon" collection!

For this project I decided to use the beautiful "Rocket" cut file from the collection.

You can find at the Silhouette Design Store.

As soon as I had the idea to use a super rocket on the layout,

I wanted to put this photo as the window

. I think this photo is so fun, it matched the style of the project. SO Happy!

I made the rocket well stamped and concentrated the main details on it.

I like to put dimension in my projects. Highlights every detail.

I made a border to the right of the layout with this BEAUTIFUL astronaut paper and sticker.

I sewed between them to give a special detail and applied the "Explore" chipboard.

To the Moon Week Day 5 | Niki Rowland with Process Video

 

Hey everyone, this is Niki (@nikiclairecreates) here is a new layout for Bella Blvd using the To the Moon Collection. I decided to use an enlargement photo today which I had printed in 12x12 size. I have also made a process video for this layout which you can find at the bottom of this blog post.

I started off by trimming down the photo, mounting it on white and then mounting it again on one of the green papers from the To the Moon collection. This picked up on the colors in my photo and seemed to go well.

My large photo had an area of space to the left side so I started adding embellishments to this area. I cut up some patterned strips from the To the Moon paper with the border strips on. I stuck the wide colorful stripy one on the left side of the layout with the navy blue arrow one too.

I then started adding other bits & pieces to the layout, picking out the words and phrases that went well with my layout. I used a mixture of ephemera, stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet and chipboard pieces.

I have used the word PLAY for my title, which was from the To the Moon chipboard. I love all the other phrases I managed to incorporate too such as ‘100% Boy’, ‘Believe, explore, play dream’, ‘go see do’, ‘you are my world’, ‘never stop dreaming’. These are all such lovely phrases and go so well with this photo of my little boy Theo.

I raised almost all the embellishments on foam pads. This was to get some separation from the photo background. I also added a smaller cluster of embellishments over on the right side of the large photo too, a mixture of stickers and chipboard.

I filled in some of the remaining gaps with puffy stickers and then finished off with a few splatters of white paint.

I don’t use enlargement photos like this very often, but they are just so totally awesome! They really make an impact and I love how this layout turned out, and it was pretty simple to make too. Here's another look at the finished layout:

To The Moon Week Day 4 | Nathalie

Hello there!

Nathalie here to continue with more To The Moon inspiration.   Throughout the week we are sharing projects created with the new and colorful To The Moon collection.  This collection is perfect for all those small explorers in your life.  I am using the masculine palette of the collection and a set of circle dies to create this page.

I love all the movement and color on the page, and this page came together in less than an hour.   Having the repeating shape made it easy to move stuff around to suit the feel of the page.

 

I used a circle die set to cut a few graduating circles for a few of the collection papers.  I made sure that each pattern/color was represented at least 2 times in the die cuts.

 

 

I am using the Bella Besties Ombre Black as the background for my page.   First I started just randomly adding the circles to the page, and moving them until  I was happy on the formation they created

 

I used a bit of foam adhesive to attach the circles to my page.   This helped me to add texture, interest, and movement to the page.   Once all the circles are set in place, I attached the pictures following the diagonal line of the page.   I kept the embellishment very simple. as the circles already add so much to the page.

 

 

To continue adding interest to the page,  I am using Aria Puffy Stickers to create the title of the spread, then had fun adding a few more details to some of the circles in the background.
