To the Moon Week Day 3 | Yarelys

Hey Bella friends! Hope you are having a wonderful day! Yarelys here with a new layout featuring the To The Moon collection.

I start my layout by painting my background. For this I used the Vicki Boutin Art Crayons in black, blue, green and gray.

While my background dried, I went through the papers of the collection and picked the Solar System paper and fussy cut some of the planets. I also went throw the Ephemera and picked some of the circles.

Once my background dried, I glued the circles and my photo. To finish my layout I added Ephemera, Doohickey, Epoxy, Bella-Pops and Puffy Stickers.

To The Moon Week Day 2 | Erica Thompson

Hey friends! Erica here with you today for some more To The Moon inspiration! 

Today instead of a 12x12 layout I created a super cute mini album using the To The Moon collection and the We R Memory Keepers Mini Cinch. I started by cutting down some of the 12x12 To The Moon papers to different sizes. I also cut down a piece of the Bella Blvd Clear cuts for a pop of fun in my mini album. 

Once I had all my pages cut I used the We R Memory Keepers Mini Cinch to punch holes in all the papers. This Mini Cinch is the perfect size binding tool to keep at your desk or to take to crops! It is easy to punch the holes in the papers and once I got the hang of this machine it was easy to get the coil cinched to bind it all together! 

I layered up some pattern papers on the pages and then matted some photos! I added die cuts and stickers from the To The Moon collection to embellish around each page. 

I also created pockets for some of the pages for even more places to tuck photos and journaling! 

Adding flip outs and shaped pages are one of my favorites in my mini albums. The are interactive and add some fun to the mini album. I like to layer up the pattern paper for even more pops of color! 

The To The Moon collection is perfect to document all the little dudes in your life! The colors are fun and bright and the images are out of this world!

To The Moon Week Day 1 - Tegan

Greetings Bella friends! Who is ready for an out of this world week of To The Moon Collection inspiration?! I know I sure am! I had an absolute blast (pun intended!) creating this card trio using the adorable To The Moon products. I am in love with all of the little astronaut kids, robots, and rocket ships.

I started this card off by using the light blue sentiment card from the To The Moon Daily Details patterned paper as my focal point. I then adhered it to a piece of the Borders patterned paper. I love that this one sheet of paper makes it look like I worked hard to create a patterned paper background (wink wink!) I the embellished the card with darling chipboard rocket and astronaut stickers and Doohickey cardstock stickers. So cute but also super easy to make! 

On my second card, I also used another cut apart card from the Daily Details patterned paper. I then layered a chipboard star sticker and a black Heart Hug sticker over the cute world sticker. I anchored the card with the adorable robot chipboard sticker and a Doohickey sentiment sticker. I also love the dimension that the A Boy's World Puffy Stickers add too! 

I used the You Are My Sun, Moon, and Stars cut out card as my feature element. I then adhered the astronaut chipboard sticker over the stars. I then added more chipboard stickers on top of the astronaut and added some of the Puffy star stickers as well. Eeek! I am head over heals over all of the cuteness in this collection, how about you?!

My Candy Girl Meets Summer Time! Day 6 | Niki Rowland with Process Video

Hi everyone, this is Niki (@nikiclairecreates) and I have a new layout and process video to share today using the new My Candy Girl collection. I wanted to create a summer themed layout today so went looking for a suitable cut file and paper colors that remind me of a sizzling hot summers day!

I picked out three papers from the My Candy Girl collection: a yellow one, a red one and a pink one. These three colors together are perfect for summer.

I then found the Splash Zone cut file in Silhouette Design Store. I opened this up in my software, ungrouped and cut the different pieces in different colors. I Cut Splash in yellow along with three splashes, Zone in red along with three splashes, and I also cut three more splashes in pink.

I arranged all the elements onto the layout together with six little square photos and a large strip of pink My Candy Girl paper. I positioned the cut file title under the torn piece of pink paper and then arranged my splashes all around the layout. I raised all the splashes up on foam pads to give them extra dimension and I also drew bubble shines onto each to make them appear more 3D. I like the effect a lot.

Once I’d added my title, splashes and six photos there wasn’t much room for anything else! I added a few My Candy Girl embellishments: a few fussy cut hearts, a red flower, an ice cream and some machine stitching at the top of the layout.

I finished off with my journaling and some splatters of white paint. Here's another look at the finished layout:

My Candy Girl Summer Meets Summer Time! Day 5 | Melissa Mann

Good Morning, everyone! 

This is Melissa with you here this fine summer day and I have a new summer themed project using the My Candy Girl collection. 

I decided to go with one of my favorite designs for this layout: the grid based layout! The possibilities are endless with a grid of blocks to create little nests for journaling, embellishments, title, pictures...you name it!

I started with the Bela Besties Hearts and Ombre paper for my background piece and layered a piece of white card stock over that. Then I cut out nine three inch blocks using various pattern papers from the My Candy Girl paper collection. 

Once I had all my blocks of paper laid out where I wanted them, I stitched them all down with my sewing machine using diagonal stitching lines across my project. It gave it a "quilted" look. After they were all stitched down, I layered vellum on a few blocks and adhered that down along with another corresponding piece of patter paper in a smaller block size (two and a quarter inched blocks). 

I pulled out the My Candy Girl Ephemera pack of die-cuts and used those to embellish a couple of the blocks; I also used the Ciao Chip, Doohickey Stickers, Epoxy Hearts, and Bella Pops. I also used one block for my typed journaling and one block for my title.

I loved how light and summery my project turned out! How are you scrapping your summer moments?

My Candy Girl Meets Summer Time! Day 4 | Sarah

Happy Thursday, Bella friends. I can't believe we coming up on the end of June. How is it that summer is in full force?! Are you ready for some long, summer days?! Anyway, Sarah (@redoaklines) here today on the blog, and I'm sharing a layout using some of that My Candy Girl goodness. 

Here's what I created:

 

This collection comes with a fun, new Cut Out! I used the "Sweet Girl" one, and I love that it worked so wonderfully for my title. I used a variety of papers and embellishments from the My Candy Girl collection to jazz up this Cut Out.

To dress up my letter "R", I added a Heart Hugs. I love how it turned out. It really makes that R stand out so much better. 

Have you ever noticed how Bella does a fantastic job coordinating their embellishments with their collections? In the photo below, I love that the Doohickey stickers and the Ciao Chip pieces all helped frame and dress up my photo. 

Below is another example of how Bella's embellishments really bring projects to life. By creating a cluster of cupcakes out of Ephemera Icons and Ciao Chip pieces at the bottom corner of my photo, it added so much dimension to my layout.

I love that this new collection is totally SWEET! Pun totally intended, haha. Have you picked some up yet? If not, get your hands on some. It's too cute!

My Candy Girl Meets Summer Time! Day 3 | Tarrah

Hi Bella friends,

It's Tarrah back with you today and I am very excited to share a new scrapbook layout featuring the gorgeous, brand new My Candy Girl collection!

This collection is absolutely beautiful and perfect for little girls and boys too! I have documented some photos of my gorgeous niece trying some ice cream! How cute are the photos? This collection was perfect to document this sweet moment!

I started by choosing the teal/aqua heart paper as my background, I then cut a strip from the multi colored paper and adhered this piece vertically onto the background paper. I then added my super cute photos staggered on either side of the paper strip in the center. I did leave some adhesive off from under the photos so that I was able to tuck in some embellishments later.  For my title, I used part of the 'Sweetest' word from the chipboard icon stickers to spell the word 'Sweet' and I also used the Florence alphabet stickers in white to spell the word Summer, I placed the Sweet word vertically and the Summer word horizontally.

At the bottom of the left side photo, I added the cute ice cream truck die-cut and made a cluster of other things including stickers here also. On the left of the left photo, I added an ice cream Bella Pop from the Sugar Sugar pack.  The Doohickey cardstock stickers have some great elements and words included, perfect to help tell your story. I personally love the border stickers in these and added one to the far left edge of the layout.

On the left of the 'Sweet' title, I added one of the chipboard scallop borders and to the right of the title, I added one of the larger ice cream chipboard stickers. Now let's talk about the amazing ephemera pack! These packs have SOOOO many gorgeous pieces in them! I picked out some of the cute ice creams, a tag, the banner and a few of the sentiments to embellish my layout. The ice creams I tucked in above the right side photo and I added the cute banner at the top of the rainbow stripe paper. The tag, I tied some white twine on and tucked it into the right of the photo. I popped up the 'Sweet Life' title with craft foam to help draw your eye to this piece.

When I am working on my pages, I always try to add the larger elements like my title and photos first and then I finish off with the smaller embellishments. The last things I added to this layout were the puffy stickers and the super cute sprinkle epoxy stickers. I love how my layout turned out and I hope you like it too?!

My Candy Girl Meets Summer Time! Day 2 | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna here today sharing a super fun Summery layout using the beautiful My Candy Girl collection!  I absolutely LOVE Summer and thought it would be fun to document this photo of me and son with our boba drinks.  It was definitely a nice cool treat on a super hot Summer day!  

 

 

To start, I cut the Bella Blvd Sunshine cut file out on some textured white cardstock.  I then took two different yellow Distress Oxide ink pads from my stash and ink blended them on to give the cut file some color.  I popped the entire thing up on foam tape and even added foam dots to a few of the sun rays to give them some lift and interest.  Since I wanted to create a Summer sky, I chose the 12x12 Hearts and Ombre in Ice as my background paper.  I added some white doodle borders around the edge just to add a little something to it.

I matted my photo with a few of the patterned papers from the collection and distressed the edges.  For my title, I used the Aria Alphas in Punch and also added a subtitle using the Florence Alphas in Gulf.  

 

 

I created a few embellishment clusters using the Ciao Chip Chipboard stickers, Ephemera and the super cute Trinkets Puffy Stickers in Ice & Gulf and Sugar Coating.  I layered some tangled thread in different colors in the clusters to add some texture.

 I also adhered a Heart Hug and some border stickers to the left of my layout to help draw your eye around the page.

My Candy Girl Meets Summer Time! Day 1 | Victoria Calvin

Hello friends! It's Victoria Calvin and I am back with a 12x12 inch scrapbook layout featuring the My Candy Girl Collection and pattern paper from the Bella Besties Hearts and Ombre Collection.

The My Candy Girl Collection is so much fun to play with! To begin, I created a 12x12 inch background using pattern paper from both the My Candy Girl and Bella Besties Collection. I love using a mix of colorful pattern papers to create tons of interest on my scrapbook layouts! Next, I positioned a 4x6 inch photo to the right side of the layout, leaving room on the left side for a title, journaling, and embellishing. 

Using die cuts from the My Candy Girl Ephemera Pack and Ciao Chip sticker sheet, I created the title "Beautiful Smile". Next, I layered a band of die cuts, Bella-Pops, and chipboard embellishments across the bottom portion of the layout. These elements add a lot of movement and whimsy to the project!

To complete this project, I added a die cut banner at the top right of the layout, along with a little banner that reads "You Go Girl". Next, I adhered a tab to the top right of my photo and added the sticker "Cherish" from the My Candy Girl Sticker Sheet along with a Baby Girl Cute Clip. For a pop of texture and dimension, I adhered a Pretty in Pink Heart Hugs embellishment to each cluster with a few Epoxy Sprinkles.

Father's Day Week Day 6 | Tegan

Happy Saturday Bella Blvd friends! I hope you are enjoying all of the amazing Father's Day creations this week! I couldn't wait to create with the To The Moon collection - is it packed with so many fun colors and graphics! For today's layout, I documented some old family photos I had of my dad and I love how this page turned out! 

I used the gray outerspace print Shoot For the Moon patterned paper as my main background. I then added strips of the Bella Besties Freehand Graph & Dot patterned papers to create a bold, colorful background. I think having the Bella Besties patterned papers on hand make it so easy to create fun and cool backgrounds! Here I also added some chipboard space pieces. Aren't the chipboard elements in this collection just so cool?! 

I then used some of my favorite patterned papers from To the Moon to cut out banners so I could create a bold graphic design on the page. I used the The Sky's The Limit, Rocket Growth, Reach For The Stars, Out Of This World, and the Little Explorer patterned papers. I had fun embellishing the banners with some To The Moon Chipboard stickers and Doohickey stickers and Bella Blvd felt pennant stickers.

I used the awesome Aria Puffy Stickers in McIntosh to create my simple title - dad. And how cute is that little astronaut ephemera piece!
