My Candy Girl Collection | Melissa Mann

I'm excited to share a new layout I put together with the new My Candy Girl Collection! What a fun collection of all the candy, unicorns, and donuts you could possibly want :-)

I love, love, love all of the pattern papers available in this new collection and wanted to use them all! But, I picked four of them out and layered them across the top of my layout and distressed and sewed down the edges. I didn't want to layer more pattern paper over top of them to layer my photos on, so I layered a couple of pieces of vellum on top of each other and stacked my photos on top of that. I loved how it still allowed you to see the fun paper behind, but also popped the pictures up a little to bring your attention to them!

I cut out one of the brand new cut files that are available in the Silhouette Store under the Bella BLVD artist link - Little Lady. I cut this out in white card stock and a light pink card stock with the intention of layering them together. I placed my title underneath my photos and my typed journaling underneath the title.

Lastly, I tucked some of the die-cuts from the new collection around my photos and a few epoxy sprinkles and puffy stickers.

My Candy Girl Week Day 6 | Victoria Calvin

Hello friends! Today, I am sharing a 12x12 inch layout featuring the sugary sweet Bella Blvd My Candy Girl Collection! This collection features some of the most adorable images, perfect for documenting all the sweet things in your life. For me, the sweetest person in my life is my daughter Corinne! I'm a pretty lucky mama to have such a sweet tween in my life!

This layout was super easy to create. First, I started by constructing a colorful background using three pieces of pattern paper from the My Candy Girl Collection pack. Next, I adhered a 4x6 inch black and white photo of my sweet girl to a 7x7 inch piece of the Not Sharing pattern paper. TIP: Using black and white photos against a colorful background adds a ton of visual depth and provides an opportunity to use any color palette that you desire! 

There are a ton of sweet little images in this collection! I used a combination of the My Candy Girl die cut elements along with chipboard and puffy stickers from the collection to create three clusters of layered embellishments. These icons add so much interest and whimsy to this layout.

Lastly, I added a title using letters from the 12x12 My Candy Girl Sticker and chipboard sticker sheets. I love using predesigned elements to make quick and easy titles.

My Candy Girl Week Day 5 | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today and I am super excited to share this new layout with y'all!!  The brand new My Candy Girl collection is AH-MAZING and I had so much fun creating with it!  I paired it with the new "Hello Sweetheart" cut file.  You can find all of the Bella Blvd cut files in the Silhouette Design Store here.  They are always adding new ones so make sure to keep an eye out for them!  Let's get to my layout!

 

 

I was super inspired by Emilie Chamel and one of her recent layouts where she took a similar striped patterned paper and trimmed it down, roughed up the edges and used it as her base.  So when I saw the "B" side of the Bubble Beauty 12x12 patterned paper, I thought I would give that same technique a try.  And wow, do I love the end result!!  I adhered all of the distressed pieces to some textured white cardstock and ran it through my sewing machine using matching thread for each color.  The texture and dimension just makes me so happy!

 

 

Next, I cut the Hello Sweetheart cut file out on another piece of textured white cardstock and backed the letters using the patterned papers from the collection.  I popped the whole thing up on foam and adhered it to the striped piece I was previously working on.  I then matted my photo with a few other patterned papers and tucked it into the cut file.  

 

 

I went through the Ephemera pieces and pulled out an adorable bear, a banner and some other pieces to embellish with.  I added the banner piece right on top of the cut file and created other embellishment clusters around the rest of my layout.  I popped a few pieces up on foam and even used some Florence Alphas in Peep to add a cute little subtitle with one of the Ephemera Words.  

 

 

I love adding the smaller details towards the end of my process so I pulled out the new Puffy Stickers in Sugar Coating and the adorable Epoxy Sprinkles mix.  I added those into my clusters and I just love the extra pops of color it gives each one!  

 

 

I just love how fun and cheerful this layout turned out!

My Candy Girl Week Day 4 | Nathalie DeSousa

Hello Bella Blvd friends!

Nathalie with you today to share my first layout featuring the new MY CANDY GIRL Collection.   This collection is perfect to document all those sweet girls and moments in our lives.  The color palette and designs are just so cute!  Here is my first project with the collection:

 

 

I wanted to bring all the colors of the collection to the page.  The best way was to create layered heart die cuts for the background of the page.

 

 

I used a metal die to cut all the hearts.  I played with all the die cuts to create a cascade look on the left hand side of a white cardstock.   I held them in place with a drop of glue, then hand stitched through the center of them.  This helps to lift the edges creating the soft dimension on the page.

 

 

I used the left over pieces of the papers to back the picture.  All the layers just add interest to the photo; however, I still added a bit of foam adhesive to make sure the photo pops from the page.  I used some of the Doohickey stickers and Daily Details paper to add interest to the picture.   The small Bella clip just adds interest to the picture.

 

 

For my title, I used some of the Ciao chips and used some teal ink to add a small ombre effect to white surface.  I paired this with a few Aria puffy stickers and those cute little elements from the My Candy Girl collection. I need more of the little pigs in my life!

 

 

I love how this turned out, and I love the collection.  It was perfect for this picture of my little ones, and I have plans for others, already.  Be sure to check it out!  You will love it, too!

My Candy Girl Week Day 3 | Niki Rowland with Process Video

 

Hi everyone! This is Niki (@nikiclairecreates) and I have a new layout today using the BRAND NEW My Candy Girl Collection. I’m so happy to be creating with this beautiful and fun new collection.

One of the papers has donuts all over it and I had a perfect photo so decided to go with this. I started off fussy cutting out lots of donuts from the donut paper.

I then came across the paper with the wide stripes and decided to use that together with the fussy cut donuts to form a background. I cut apart the wide stripes and distressed the edges. I then stuck four onto a white background.

 

I then layered all my fussy cut donuts onto the striped background in a color-on-color fashion. I also went looking for more embellishments to use. I went through the My Candy Girl ephemera pack and pulled out lots of fun things that would work with this layout: more donuts (!), stars, hearts and flowers!

I also used some stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet: three border strips which matched my striped background and some labels.

I mounted my photo onto My Candy Girl paper and some tissue paper too and then got everything stuck in place. I added a title using Aria Puffy Stickers and Florence alphabet stickers in the Ice color. I finished off with a few splatters of white paint. Here's another look at the finished layout:

Nathalie Celebrated iNSD With a Cooper TN Spread

Hello friends! Nathalie here with a little throwback to my project from iNSD 2021!  

 I am a daily documenter, which means most of my life stories are stored in notebooks and Traveler's notebooks.  So, today, I want to share with you a new entry in my Gratitude Journal, and show you how you can use Bella Blvd goodies to document in different formats.

I choose the Cooper collection to document the many reasons why we love our fur baby, Poochie.  

I started by covering the left side of the notebook with a piece of the Borders paper (b side).  I used the Paws paper to frame the photo, then set it on the patterned paper.

I am using a heart die set to cut hearts from some of the 6x6 paper pack.   I created a cluster of the hearts at the bottom of the photo and added pieces of ephemera to add sentiment and a title for this spread.

To balance the larges scale of the photo, and soften the page, I am using a grid of hearts on the right page of the spread.  However, I am building my grid with die cut hearts, ephemera, and epoxy shapes.   I  added a second smaller cluster of hearts so that it will help balance the page.  Finally, I used my white pen to add some foam stitching to each heart, and write my story at the bottom heart.

I love how this turned out, and I hope that you are inspired to use Bella Blvd products in your daily documenting regardless of the format you use.

The Sky Is The Limit Layout | Yarelys

Hey Bella friends! Hope you are having a wonderful day! Yarelys here to share with you a new layout featuring the new collection To The Moon. For this layout l also used two of the Bella Blvd cut files.

I went through the papers of the collection and picked the Outer Space, The Sky’s The Limit, Reach For The Stars, Out Of This World and Shoot For The Moon to cut the Rocket cut file. Then I cut the The Sky Is The Limit cut file out of white cardstock.

For my background I made a cloud stencil and paint a sky, for this I used the Vicki Boutin Art Crayons in navy blue, grey and black. Once I had my sky painted, I did yellow splatters.

Now it’s time to build my layout! I glued the rocket and my photo with adhesive foam to create dimension. Then I glued the The Sky Is The Limit cut file, which I used as my title. I used adhesive foam in the sky and limit words to add more dimension.

To finish my layout I added some of the To The Moon Ciao Chip, Ephemera, Epoxy and Puffy Stickers.

To The Moon Week Day 5 | Karlla

Hello Bella BLVD friends,

Karlla here and I'm very happy to share my new layout with you!

My heart is filled with joy when I see a boy's collections,

"To the Moon" is a perfect collection for those who share that same feeling.

I wanted to use everything!
All papers, washi tapes, stickers.. all on one layout!
So I decided to turn the printed paper to appear these beautiful black stars.

I love creating layouts that look like the details are going to jump off the paper.

I think this is super fun.

I concentrated the photos in the center of the layout

to highlight the green paper with these beautiful stickers.

Another thing I love to do is to overlay stickers or cuts.

It's such a beautiful and delicate detail

To the Moon Week Day 4 | Melissa Mann

Hey Bella friends! It's Melissa here with you again today with a new layout using the fantastic new release of "To The Moon"! This line has the best color palette - I just love all the shades of blue and green and orange in this new release.

I was struggling with this project at first because I just could not figure out what picture(s) to use for this project. I finally ran across this old school picture of my husband from around 1978 and inspiration struck! I scanned this old picture in and cleaned it up a little bit and then changed it to a black and white photo since the original had really yellowed from age. I printed two 3x4 sized photos and got to work! 

I layered a white piece of card stock on top of two pattern papers: one was from the To The Moon collection and one was a sheet from Bella Besties Graph and Dot collection. I stitched these all down together and distressed the edges of the white card stock and the inner pattern paper.  I spritzed some ink blots on the white card stock and let that dry. I layered another piece of Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre paper with two other pieces from the To The Moon collection and used my notebook edge punch on several of those blocks of paper. These were all stitched down and then my photos were adhered on top. 

I placed my title in the lower right hand corner underneath the picture and my strips of journaling underneath that. I then used washi tape, Doohickey stickers, and puffy stickers to complete my embellishment clusters. I really loved how this layout turned out!
