Hey friends! Erica here with you today sharing a 12x12 scrapbook layout using some products from the Chloe collection and some stitched heart dies from my stash!
Steel dies are great tools to use on your scrapbook layouts! I am slowing building up my stash of shapes and hearts are one of my favorites! You could also achieve a similar look with punches! I love that the dies I am using today have stitch marks on them for that added texture!
I pulled out the Bella Blvd Chloe collection and die cut a bunch of different hearts in different colors and sizes! I layered them up and ran them through my sewing machine for even more texture. This will also help the hearts pop up and I just love the way that it looks.
The photo I am documenting is from a girls scrappy weekend! I was the last one to arrive a day later and as I was pulling in all the ladies came out to the balcony to welcome me! I had to snap a photo real quick! I die cut the photo out into a heart shape and placed it right in the middle of the layout.
I trimmed down a piece of white textured cardstock to 11.50x11.50 and matted it onto the Smitten 12x12 pattern paper. I glued down all the hearts onto the white textured cardstock and created a grid style layout using all these layered hearts! I went through the Chloe embellishments and added a few different banners, flowers and die cuts to the center of the hearts! I also pulled in a few pieces from the Home Sweet Home collection and a few Trinkets.
You can check out my process video HERE on my YouTube channel! Thank you so much for stopping by! The next time you are stuck for inspiration try pulling out some of your steel dies to create! Have a wonderful day!
