Spring & Easter Week Day 3 | Victoria Calvin

Hello everyone! It's Victoria and I am back with a new scrapbook layout featuring the Bella Blvd Mood Booster Cut-Out. This cut-out serves as the perfect backdrop for my spring inspired page. It's so fun and whimsical, and can be used with a variety of design techniques. 

 

For this project, I used the Bella Blvd Home Sweet Home Collection. The colors in this collection are super bright and fun, great for a spring inspired layout.

To begin, using the Mood Booster Cut-Out and Daisy Details pattern paper, I backed the middle sections of each flower, leaving the petals of the flower open. Next, I adhered the cut-out to the Borders pattern paper. I love how the white cut-out looks so vibrant against the dark blue pattern paper! 

 

Once the cut-out was in place, I positioned several Trinket Puffy Stickers in the center of each flower for added interest and dimension. Next, I created an anchor for my title by cutting a fish-tailed band using pattern paper from the Bella Besties Collection Kit. The title was created using the word "Fun" from the Ciao Chip Icons chipboard stickers and I used the Florence Alphabet Stickers (Blueberry) to spell the word "Easter". The photo was layered with pattern paper from the Home Sweet Home Collection (Welcome Home and Mosaic Title), and positioned to the right of the layout.

 

 

To complete this project, I added small clusters of die cuts from the Home Sweet Home Ephemera Icons pack, and a bit of journaling that is adhered directly to the photo. Using the Bella Blvd Cut-Outs (or a Bella Blvd electronic cut file) is a great way to create stunning scrapbook layouts in no time!

Spring & Easter Day 2 | Erica Thompson

Hey friends! Erica here today to share some spring inspiration using Bella Blvd cut files and the Home Sweet Home collection!

I started out with a piece of the Hearts & Ombre Bella Besties in Bell Pepper and trimmed it down to 11.50x11.50 and matted it on the Welcome Home 12x12 pattern paper. I used one of the new Bella Blvd cut files from the Silhouette Design Store for my title and backed it with papers in the Home Sweet Home collection.

I added the backed cut file towards the bottom of the Bell Pepper Hearts & Ombre paper. I used the same Welcome Home pattern paper to fussy cut some flowers and added a couple floral clusters to the page. 

My photos are of Liam and I taking some selfies in our new bunny headbands! I printed out four photos and matted them on some of the Bella Besties in Peep Hearts! 

Liam loves to take photos so I take advantage of these every chance I get! I tucked in some florals die cuts around the cut file and popped up one of the heart stickers from the Doohickey Home Sweet Home sticker sheet.

Spring & Easter Week Day 1 | Nathalie

Hello Bella Blvd friends!

Nathalie with you today to continue bringing you more Spring inspiration using the beautiful Bella Blvd. products.   Finally the weather is starting to change here in Canada, and soon,  we will be able to go for long walks at the park.   We love visiting the park at the height of Cherry Blossom season, everything is just too beautiful.  So, I pulled a few of those pictures to create this page...

 

 

I love the clean and flowery feel of the page, and it was so easy to put together.   Starting with a bit of mixed media on the background.

 

 

I pulled a paper from the Home Sweet Home collection, and trimmed to 11.5"x11.5".  I then, used a small ink blending brush to messily add some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide to the background in a diagonal line.   Then finished the application with a few splatters of the diluted ink.

 

 

While the ink dried, I used papers from the Chloe collection 6x6 paper pad, and also from the Bella Besties collection to back the flowers from the Live Love Meow Cut Outs pack.   All the pops of color with the white outline is just like little pops of color for the page.

 

 

I printed the two pictures, and backed them  and the background page with papers from the Home Sweet Home collection.   The fresh colors of the papers are perfect for the clean look of the page.  I used embellishments from the same collection to add extra sentiment to the cut out and around the pictures.

 

For the page title, I used the "Day at The Park" cut file (design # 346832).  I cut it three times from white cardstock, stacked them together, and then backed it with Bella Besties in Gulf, and attach it to the bottom of the layout.  Then used embellishments from the Home Sweet Home collection on the page, then added Matte Enamel dots from Cooper collection to complete the page.

Spring Has Sprung Week Day 6 | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here with a fun Spring Themed layout using a lot of Bella Besties as well as this super cute Bella Spring Break cut file.  This cut file was perfect for my photo that I just took this past week.  It was Spring Break here and we had a couple of warm days, so we took advantage and swam for a little bit!  You can find all of the Bella Blvd cut files here and there are several brand new ones, so make sure to check them all out!  Here's my layout!

 

To start, I cut the cut file out on textured white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo.  When it was finished cutting, I chose to back the letters using the Hearts & Ombre patterned papers in the colors, Cotton Candy, Blueberry, Bell Pepper, Gulf and Punch.  They're fun colors and went so nicely together.  I ended up popping the entire cut file on foam tape to give it some dimension.  

 

 

Once I was finished backing the cut file, I chose the Ombre side of the Hearts & Ombre paper in the color Ice and adhered my cut file down to it.  I ended up trimming 1 inch off of the side and the top, so that I could frame it using a piece of the Freehand Graph & Dot paper in Cotton Candy.  The Ombre paper looked like the sky and it was so cute framing it with the pink.  That really made it even more Spring themed.  

 

 

Next, I added onto my cut file title with the Florence Alphas in Cotton Candy by putting the year and then adding the "Let's Party" acrylic word right underneath it.  I love how it flowed so nicely on the page.  

 

 

I created several embellishment clusters around the acrylic phrase using a few different Heart Hugs and Matte Enamel Dots.  I even added a few strips of the Rainbow Washi Tape as a little shelf for my embellishments to sit on.  

 

 

I also added in some of my favorite embellishments, the Trinkets Puffy Stickers.  I used both the hearts and flowers from the sticker sheets.  I pulled in a rainbow acrylic piece from the Squeeze The Day collection and layered up a phrase sticker from the Word Salad Booklet right on top.

 

 

Lastly, I added a few pieces of tangled thread into my clusters and added a pink Cute Clip to my photo.

Spring Has Sprung Week Day 5 | Victoria Calvin

Hello friends! This is Victoria and I am so excited to share my first Bella Blvd Creative Team project with you! Today's project features the Squeeze the Day Bella Besties pattern paper, the perfect companion to the Squeeze the Day Collection! Bella Besties can be used to create backgrounds, trimmed for photo layers, and much more. 

 

This layout features the Squeeze the Day Graph and Punch pattern paper as the background. This pattern is the perfect backdrop for the Bella Blvd Happiness Cut-Out. For a bit of grounding, I added a strip of the Borders pattern paper to left of the layout. 

 

 

Next, I backed the Happiness Cut-Out using pattern paper from the Squeeze the Day 6x6 Paper Pad and the Squeeze the Day Bella Besties. Alternating the pattern paper designs adds a ton of visual interest and whimsy to a layout. I like to use a mixed of bold and subtle patterns!

 

 

Layered clusters featuring the Squeeze the Day die cuts, puffy flowers, and acrylic hearts add a pop of dimension to the Happiness Cut-Out, and coordinates beautifully with the Bella Besties pattern paper. 

 

 

To finish this project, I adhered a few lines of journaling and additional puffy hearts for added dimension and interest. And with that, this project is done! I hope you are inspired to create a beautiful layout using the Bella Besties pattern paper.

Spring Has Sprung Week Day 4 | Tarrah McLean

Hi Bella friends!

It's Tarrah McLean here today and I am so super excited to share my very first scrapbook layout as part of the Bella team/family! I am so so lucky to create with such AMAZING and gorgeous products!! I created this layout for the Spring theme for this week featuring Bella Besties! 

I started out by taking my trusty butterfly paper punch and punched out 2x butterflies from each of the coloured Graph/ Dotted papers in the Squeeze the Day Bella Besties paper pack. I then arranged and adhered them in a rainbow shape on a sheet of plain white cardstock, I applied the glue just to the bodies of the butterflies so that I could bend up the wings for some added texture.

I adhered the photo of my niece with some craft foam over to the right of the page and under the butterflies, layering a piece of the teal colour, dotted side Bella Bestie paper underneath my photo also. I then adhered some of the floral die-cuts from the Home Sweet Home ephemera icon pack and some Ciao Chipboard from the same around my photo. I also adhered the sun from the Squeeze the Day Ciao Chipboard sheet above my photo. 

Above the butterflies I popped up 2 of the cloud die-cuts from the Home Sweet Home ephemera icon pack, I also layered some of the cute butterfly die-cuts over the top of the paper punched ones. On each paper punched butterfly I also added small shaped puffy stickers, I love how these look! My title is made up of the Florence alphabet stickers in Blueberry and the Aria puffy alphabet stickers in Bell Pepper. I love a mixed font title! Under my photo and title I added a chipboard scalloped border from the Squeeze the Day Ciao Chipboard set.

Some of the last things that were added to my page were a few more shaped puffy stickers, some small chipboard pieces, a word sticker and I added my typed journling strips. The font I use is called 'Remington Noiseless', I love it as it looks like a typewriter font. You can see in my detail photos the shadows created when I have bent up the wings of the butterflies, I love how this looks and gives some dimension to my page! Once I had embellished and completed my layout, I trimmed down the white cardstock and backed the entire layout onto the red Ombre/Heart Bella Bestie paper, I then machine stitched around the outside edge.

Spring Has Sprung Day 3 | Melissa

Hello, everyone! I'm so happy to be on the Bella Blvd design team for the next year and I'm sharing my first project with you all today. 

I created a new spring project using the Bella Blvd Besties paper pack. I love, love, love layers of paper so to start with I layered the pretty floral pattern paper from the Let's Go On An Adventure collection with a piece of white card stock. On top of the white card stock, I layered a square of the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre paper. I stitched all three of these pieces of paper down using my sewing machine around the very outer edge of the card stock.

I had printed two pictures of my niece smelling some flowers in a Boston garden and wanted to find a way to "frame" these photos. I found a great frame cut file in the Bella Blvd Silhouette shop. I cut this file out on the Bella Besties Freehand Graph and Dot pattern paper. I layered this on top of my other paper and stitched it down as well. I also backed this cut file with the Mood Buster Cut Out to add a little dimension and texture. 

My title was created down the length of my project on the right hand side using a variety of Aria and Florence Alphabet stickers in Plum, Oyster, White, and Guacamole. My journaling was typed up on a strip of white card stock and adhered to the bottom of the lower picture. Then came the fun part of adding all of my embellishments!

I used the Let's Go On An Adventure Ciao Chip, the Trinket Puffy Stickers in Plum, and the Fruity Mix Matte Enamels.

Spring Has Sprung Week Day 2 | Karlla Dauer

Hello Bella BLVD friends,

Karlla here and I'm so happy to share my first post blog.

I created a colorful layout to represent this beautiful season of the year, Spring.

I love to balance all this color with black. yes black.
I think it is charming and highlights all the color.

For this layout, I created layers with hollow circles with the rainbow background paper.

I loved how black enhanced colors.

 

I just love using cut files in my layouts and I was so happy when I received their kits already cut.

They are practical and a great option for those who do not have a cutting machine

For this layout I used the Over the Rainbow Cut Outs.

I like details in my work, I think it makes the layout richer.

After lining the rainbow, I sewed each color.

Want to highlight the details? Use lots of foam tape and in several layers.

Spring Has Sprung Week Day 1 | Yarelys

Hey friends! Hope you are having a wonderful day! Yarelys here to share with you a new layout featuring the Bella Besties, as well as one of the Bella Cut–Outs. Spring is here, so I want my layout to look like a flower field!

I started my layout by tearing two pieces of the Hearts & Ombre paper in Pickle Juice. Then I glued them and did some mixed media in between the two pieces of paper.

The Cut–Out I chose was “Mood Booster” and backed it with the Graph & Dot papers in Gulf, Bell Pepper, Orange and Punch. After I finished backing all the flowers, I added adhesive foam on the back to create dimension and then glued the Cut–Out and my photo.

For my title I used the Aria Alphabet Puffy Stickers in Punch and the Florence Alphabet Stickers in Orange. To finish my layout, I added some of the Squeeze The Day Ephemera Words, Ciao Chip, Epoxy Hearts, Epoxy Icons and Mate Enamels.

I love how this layout turned out and had a lot of fun playing along with this amazing Cut–Out. Hope you all like it and get the inspiration to create beautiful things. You can find the process video for this layout below. Thanks so much for stopping by!
