Hello Bella Friends! This is Maryam, and I'm so excited to be back here today with a new project. This week it's all about Love and Valentine's Day so I'm going to be sharing some fun shaped cards I created using some Bella Cut Files and Bella Besties, perfect to be gifted to your loved ones on this special day.
For my first two shaped cards, I decided to create some donuts so I went to the Bella BLVD Silhouette Design Store and downloaded 314819 Donuts Cut File. This cut file comes with three sweet donuts but I only cut two. Since I wanted to cut each one of the pieces of the cut files into a different pattern paper, the first thing I did was to ungroup all the pieces. I spread them across my mat and then cut papers to size and let the machine do its thing.
I cut both donuts at the same time or in one pass, so the next step was to put together all the pieces. To add some dimension to the donuts, I adhered some of the pieces with foam dots. In addition, I also grabbed some matte enamel dots and added them around as if they were sprinkles. To finish up the donuts, I added some sentiments from the Word Salad Booklet.
For my third card, I did something a little bit different and used the 326903 Cupcake Cut File. Just like I did before, once I opened the file on Silhouette Studio I ungrouped all the pieces and cut them out of different Bella Besties Patterned Papers. To embellish the card, I added the word "love" from Squeeze the Day Ephemera Words and right below it, "you make my life great" from the must-have Word Salad Booklet.
Once my three cards were done, I decided to also create some coordinating envelopes, and again, I used the incredible versatile Bella Besties Patterned Paters in three colors- McIntosh, Peep, and Cotton Candy.
