This is Maryám and today I am going to be sharing with you a brand new 8.5” x 11” inches layout which documents some of my New Year’s Resolutions featuring one of the gorgeous Cut-Outs from Bella BLVD as well as some other fun things.
To create this layout, I started by backing the gorgeous rainbow from the Over the Rainbow Cut-Outs Set with different pattern papers in the following order- red, pink, orange, yellow, green, and teal. Then, to back the clouds, I used Play Time Pattern Paper from the Cooper Collection which coordinated perfectly with the other papers.
After the rainbow was ready, I adhered it onto an 8.5” x 11” inches white cardstock a little bit towards the right and trimmed the excess with some scissors. I then added my photos right under the clouds as well as my title and journaling documenting some of my new year’s resolutions.
Now, to embellish my layout, I decided to make use of one of my favorite techniques which is color on color embellishing. So what I did was to grabbed a bunch of different embellishments from the Squeeze the Day Collection and adhere them in their corresponding color spot. For example, I added a slice of lemon in the yellow rainbow section, then a strawberry in the red section, and so on. In addition, I also added some word stickers from the Word Salad Booklet that represented my resolutions, and to make the rainbow even more fun and whimsical, I added some Trinkets Puffy Stickers and a few epoxy stickers here and there.
Last but not least, for my title I decided to go with “fresh start” and used the amazing Aria Alphabet Stickers in Peep and Punch Colors to spell out the words.
