Fall & Winter Themed Week Day 1 | Lauren

Hi! Lauren Seals here today sharing some fun mixing in a little bit of everything along side the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombré! Have you tried this fun patterned paper? It’s absolutely perfect to add so much extra depth to your paper crafts without overwhelming it with too much pattern. It’s subtle yet sweet. Just the perfect touch that pairs so nicely no matter what the theme of your project is. For my layout today I used them focusing on fall and the colors that coordinate with the seasonal feelings. 

To create my base pattern I cut strips from multiple colors of the Ombré paper. I arranged them so they would give contrast throughout the whole layout. To allow me to embellish and have all the fun elements really pop. I then used the Halloween cut out to create the fun little pumpkins along the bottom. I thought they were perfect for fall and allowed me to add some different patterns to the layout layered on top of the Ombré. I even used some pops of the fun floral print from the Let’s Go On An Adventure camping line. 

One of my favorite things to do in crafting is mix all different lines together to create the feel and theme you are trying to achieve. For insist with this layout I pulled little pieces from various Bella lines. From the outdoors line, to the Home line, and even some Cooper and Chloe for all the sweet little sentiments. Once you look at patterns and elements from lines outside of the intended theme. You really are able to do so much to utilize all the different papers in your crafting stash. 

To finish off the layout I created some fun little embellishment clusters throughout the page. I used the cute little pumpkin shape epoxy stickers from monster & friends. I used some sweet little heart hugs. We all as the perfect added touch to any project!! My favorite, matte enamels! I love how much they can really bring together a project and give it that finished look.

Thanksgiving Week Day 6 | Traci

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!  November is always one of my favorite months of the year ... the fall season in Georgia is so pretty, I love the cooler temperatures, and the Thanksgiving holiday always reminds me to be grateful.

So for my project, I used some colorful Bella Besties papers and Trinkets puffy stickers to create a gratitude journal.

For the album base, I used the Essential Mini Album die (661094) that was designed by Lori Whitlock for Sizzix.  I cut the base of the album pages out of white card stock, and the inset papers out of Bella Besties and lined journaling paper.

 

The pattern papers and cute flower die cuts are from the Chloe collection, and the "thankful" title is a die from Echo Park Paper Co.  (Links to all products can be found on my Artsy Albums blog).

I kept my album pretty simple because I plan to put 3x4 photos on the left side of every layout, and then journal about the things I'm thankful for on the right.

 

I added clusters of Trinkets puffy stickers on each journaling page.  I love how there are flowers, hearts and arrows so that I can mix it up.  So simple but so cute!

 

I love small little albums dedicated to journaling.  This would also be a fun project for kids to write what they are thankful for, or you could change up the papers to mcintosch and guacamole for a Christmas traditions journal.

Thanksgiving Week Day 5 | Sarah

Hi Bella friends! It's me, Sarah, again. Hope you all had a wonderful, restful, and full Thanksgiving holiday, and maybe if you were lucky you found some time to get creative with some Bella products. I know I did! I wanted to create a project about something I am thankful for. I am truly thankful for all my blessings big and small, and I wanted to make sure to document that.

So without further ado, I'm excited to be sharing another project with you all. Today, I wanted to share my latest 12x12 layout about a couple of furry friends that I am most especially thankful for. Do you have any pets that bring joy to your life? Dogs? Cats? Birds? Hamsters?! Let's document the animals we are thankful for. 

I had lots of fun using the Cooper collection. I think it tops as one of my favorite dog themed collections ever released. If you have a canine bestie, this will be your go to collection for all dog related projects! Honestly, if you haven't already, go check it out, and you can thank me later, heh.

I wanted to focus on using the Trinkets Puffy Stickers because I love that they come in an assortment of colors. Each pack has stars, hearts, flowers, and arrows, so basically all your essential embellishments. I used the Orange, White, and Bell Pepper colors, and they all coordinated and came together so seamlessly. Without any effort, those stars add so much dimension to my layout.

Thanksgiving Week Day 4 | Nathalie

 Hello there Bella Blvd friends!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our US friends! 

Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration using the beautiful Bella Blvd goodies.  This week we are documenting Gratitude.  I couldn't think of anything that fills my thankful cup than being a mom to my two teen-soon-to-be-adult kids.   

 

I wanted a colorful cascade of hearts for my page, so I reached for the Love You Lots cut-outs to build my layout.   I backed one of each of the hearts with vellum, then used foam adhesive to attach it to a piece of Hearts/Ombre White Bella Besties paper.  Once the cut out was in place, I fill each of the empty hearts' spaces with the new Bella Blvd Trinkets, so that I have a chain of rainbow hearts.

 

The new puffy stickers are colorful and small enough to fill the heart spaces and bring a pop of color to the page.   I decided to add a few extra stickers to some of the vellum hearts on the left of the page.  These help to emphasize the colors in each of the hearts.

 

 

I placed my picture to the right of the heart cut-outs.  I added a few pieces of papers from the Mom's Life collection as layers behind the pictures, Then decided to create smaller clusters at the corners of the pictures.

I used a few more of the Trinket stickers as well as stickers from the Mom Life, and Mind Your Manners collection.  I added a simple title to the bottom of the pictures using the Oyster Florence Alpha stickers.  Finally, I added pieces of the Mom Life Doo Hickey edge stickers to frame the page.

Just love how this turned out, and how there is beauty in simplicity,color and texture.   I hope this inspires you to pull your Bella Blvd goodies to document your Gratitudes!  Remember to share with us your projects, so that we can be inspired by you, too

Thanksgiving Week Day 3 - Digital Layout with Tya

 Hello Bella Fans- Happy Thanksgiving Week! I think during this crazy year I have become that much more thankful for so many things, big and small. When I was making this layout, I was able to think about just how much I have to be grateful for, and the greatest of these is these 4 other wonderful humans with who I get the pleasure to be with and share my space with. We have definitely grown closer this year as we have had to spend quite a few "forced family fun" days together.  I have grown to love them each individually on a deeper level for sure this year - probably one of the biggest positives that have come from this pandemic. 

I used the stunning "Gratitude Documented"  digital collection for my papers and embellishments. I added some stitching, paint splatters, and made my own title from a font, and backed it with some of our Bella Besties pattern paper. I adore the colors in this collection! 

I hope I have inspired you to make a layout this week focusing on what you are most thankful for. It was great to take the time to really assess what I was thankful for this week! Thank you for stopping by today! I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Week Day 2 | Patricia

Hello Beautiful Bella Blvd Friends!  Today I is all about being thankful using the new Trinket Puffy Stickers.  When I think of being thankful during this Fall season, I can't help but think of a bountiful display of Fall colors.  These Trinkets Puffy Stickers along with the new Hearts & Ombre papers, Heart Hugs, and two cut files cut files (On The Vine and Pumpkin Patch) helped me documenting being thankful exactly how I pictured it.

I used the Pony Hearts & Ombre paper along the edge on the left using the ombre side and used a brush stroke of brown/chestnut paint on the right.  To create that bountiful feel I wanted, I cut out Bella Blvd cut files Fall Leaves and Pumpkins from the Silhouette Design Store.  Once those were cut, I used a scallop punch to punch a few more pieces from the Hearts & Ombre.  I started placing the leaves, pumpkins, and the punches.  Next came the fun part, I sprinkled the coordinating Trinkets, Heart Hugs, and Florence Alphabet Stickers to finish.  To create a layer and placement for my photos, I used the same Hearts & Ombre papers alternating from the hearts and the ombre side, and making sure they were stacked to add a layering interest.

I finished this with a few more Trinkets, journaling, and a die cut cat from the Chloe collection.  This year brings a new season to all of our lives, but like I did, document specific changes and be thankful for how these changes will allow you to grow and be stronger individually and as a family.

Hey friends! Happy Thanksgiving Week! It's going to be a weird Thanksgiving for us this year, with only a Zoom Thanksgiving to "celebrate" but I still wanted to make sure that I "counted all my blessings" and documented that this year! 

I used the "BLESSINGS" die cut from the Silhouette store, and backed it with some papers and elements from the digital Illustrated Faith Gratitude collection. This is one of my very favorite collections, and I use it ALL the time!

Cut File Week Day 6 | Sarah Kee

Hello and welcome, Bella friends! My name is Sarah, and I'm new here. I'm beyond excited to be a guest designer for Bella, as I have loved their projects from way back when Stephanie first launched her first collection in 2008. That seems like a life time ago now, but I'm glad to be here sharing my work with these fun, bright, and happy products. 

Today, I wanted to highlight the oh-so-cool Cut Outs. Have you tried them yet?! They're so much fun. For this 12x12 layout, I used the October Cut-Out, and I went to town with all of the coordinating patterned papers from the Monsters & Friends collection.

To further embellish the "October" Cut Out, I added a couple of of those cute monster Bella Pops. The purple monster might be my favorite, but I'm a fan of pretty much all of them. Those googly eyes are so adorable though!

Lastly, I'm a huge fan of the photo corners. I know sometimes they can be intimidating because you just don't know how to use it, but they can add so much to a scrapbook layout. I love that Bella has them on the Doohickey Stickers. I've used them for photo corners, but more recently I've used them as fun little "arrow" embellishments. Anyway, give it a shot; it'll add such a fun little design element to your project.

Happy Children's Day Digital Layout | with Tya

 Hi, there friends! Tya here! I am sharing my latest digital scrapbooking layout with you and  I couldn't be happier to celebrate this fun day! Today, November 20th

is National Children's Day! I didn't even know this was a thing! But you know we have Mother's Day and Father's Day, even Grandparents Day - so it seems right to also have a Children's Day as well! (Even though us busy mamas may think EVERY day is Children's Day lol!)  

My layout uses the simply gorgeous "You are Loved" digital collection.  I loved the colors and all the floral and heart icons in this collection.  And there is something about using stripes and florals together that just has my heart -  just like these 3 cute kiddos do as well! It was a very special day in this photo as my son was leaving to go to college a few hours away and we had one last family dinner together on the night this photo was taken. Such a precious memory I never want to forget.

You Are Loved Collection Bundle

Cut Outs Week Day 4 | Lisa Fonseca

Hey scrappy friends, its' Lisa back on the blog and today I'm sharing a layout I created using the Bella Blvd Cut-Outs. :)

The Cut-Outs are an amazing opportunity for you to use cut files on your projects without having to have a cutting machine. They are ready for you to use and there are a ton of different ones for any theme you might want to scrap. :)

This one says "Love you Lots". I thought I'd use that one, since the assignment was to scrap a fall or family layout. I had this old photo of my sis, my dad and I, on my phone and I thought it'd be the perfect picture to use with the Cut-Out. 

To start, I chose papers from both, the Chloe and Cooper collections. I wanted to use happy and bright colors. I really like that color combo. Some of the papers have decent patterns, while a few of them have more intricate and colorful patterns. It's really important, when you back a cut file like this, that you don't only use complicated patterns... it will look too overloaded and your eyes won't have a place to rest. 

The same rule applies to the background, when you're using a lot of different colors and patterns. The background needs to be plain. I used one of the new Belly Besties Ombre papers, which look wonderful as a background. I sprinkled some white and gold splatters all around and let them dry.

While the background was drying, I cut out the letters. Instead of backing my Cut-Out traditionally, I adhered it to my background and I used foam squares to attach the letters, to make them stand out and give the layout a bit of dimension.

I matted my photo with different scraps of paper and adhered it next to the Cut-Out. Then I used some scalloped borders, from the sticker sheet, to decorate a bit more around the photo. 

I didn't really know how to proceed at that point, I didn't know what else to use to decorate even more. But I didn't want to leave it like that because it didn't look "done" to me :)

So I took a floral patterned paper from the Chloe collection and started to fussy cut a ton of small and tiny flowers. 

Then I created three clusters of flowers around the letters. I used a lot of enamel dots in the centers to give them more interest and dimension. I also added a few enamel dots around the clusters. At the end, I really liked how it turned out. :)

I used to make frames for my layouts a lot, but since it's difficult to take good pictures of layouts with frames that are a bit warped from mixed media, I don't do it very often anymore. On this layout though, I thought it would be a great addition. So I created a frame using a teal patterned paper and then I machine-stitched a border in pink. 

To finish, I added a subtitle, using the Florence Alphas.
