He scrappy friends,
today I'm sharing my last Halloween layout for this year.
The assignment was to use a Bella Blvd cutfile and when I saw this cute spider, I absolutely wanted to use it and scrap a last Halloween photo.
I started by using the spider cutfile to create 14 spiders in different colors. I used patterned papers from different collections. The aqua and purple ones, I cut out from the new Hearts&Ombré Bella Besties collection. Love those new papers :)
As the machine was cutting, I created my background. I put gesso all over my page and then I used some Distress Oxides to put color on my page. After the background had dried, the color had faded a lot, so I went back with gelatos and a baby-wipe and added more color. Then I splattered white and gold paint all over.
While the background was drying, I added some interest to the spiders by giving them stitched details. I put a cross on their backs and gave them eyes with french knots.
I matted my photos with the scraps that I had left from cutting out the spiders.
I adhered the photos to my layout and then adhered all of the spiders, using thick foam squares to make the stand out and give the layout a lot of dimension.
Then I went through all of the embellishments of the Monsters&Friends collection and chose some things that I could add.
I added a white scalloped border from the sticker sheet to the sides of the photos. I also used two purple photo corners from the same sticker sheet.
For my title I used the new Aria puffy Alphas and some black alphas from the sticker sheet of the collection. I always love using different fonts and colors in my titles. Then, to finish I added some more cute details to my layout like enamel dots, a chipboard flower and a Bella-Pop pumpkin.
I hope you like the layout,
thx so much for stopping by,
