Hello sweet friends! I'm happy to be back to share an easy 12x12 layout with you. You know how sometimes you just love how a page design comes together, so you decide to scraplift your own design on another project? We've all done it ... we're having a less than creative day so we pull out an album, pick a page, and re-create the design with new papers and themes. Well, I was having that kind of day yesterday. I wanted to create a page for one of Rylee's school days so I went to one of my albums for some inspiration.
Can you tell I had fun with color on this one? I started with a NEW blueberry Hearts Bestie pattern for the base. Then I layered some pattern paper from Pop Quiz ... I love how it gives the center a border of color. The white card stock is a 10" square, and each of the cute heart pattern squares are 2x2".
I love a color block design ... I guess it appeals to my need for organization and symmetry ;). You're probably familiar with the adorable acrylic stars, but how cute are those NEW tiny stars from the Trinkets Puffy Stickers?! If you haven't checked these out, you'll be blown away with how many fun shaped trinkets are in a package!
See those cute arrows and the heart that's in place of the O? Yep ... from the trinkets! Oh, and that adorable alphabet? Those are Florence alpha stickers (which I have to have in every color).
I hope I've given you a little inspiration for a new layout today. Want to see my original inspiration piece? It's on my blog
here at Artsy Albums. Otherwise, I hope you all have a wonderful week and find some time to be crafty!! Thanks for stopping by!
