Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share a layout using one of the new Bella Blvd cut files! You can find the Bella cut files in the Silhouette Design Store or at shop.loriwhitlock.com.
I was so excited to use the new collection to back the I've Got My Eye on You cut file that I downloaded from the Silhouette Design Store. I used the 12x12 Lil' Pumpkins pattern paper to back the cut file. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the backing section for my cut file.
I wanted to use one of the new Bella Bestie Ombre & Hearts papers for my background and I thought the black would be perfect. I trimmed down the black ombre & hearts paper and matted it onto the Scary Cute 12x12 pattern paper from the Monsters & Friends collection. I went in with some white acrylic paint and a thin paint brush to add some splatter on the left side of the layout. I wanted to add a little bit of something behind the cut file.
I popped the cut file up on some foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and placed it towards the left of my layout. I knew I was going to use 2 photo strips with 4 photos total. Since the colors in the photos did not match well with the colors in the collection I printed them out in black and white.
I created a cluster of monsters and pumpkins to the right of my photo to help fill in some of the open space and love how it turned out. I popped them up on different foam adhesives so they are very dimensional. I love the different ghost in the Monsters & Friends collection and loved how they looked peeking out around the cut file.
To finish off my layout I added a few of the enamel bats from the Goblins Epoxy Stickers, added some photo corners from the 12x12 Dohickey Sticker sheet and then my journaling. Here is a look at my completed layout!
Thank you so much for stopping today! I hope if you are celebrating Halloween that you have a safe and spooky good time!
