Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share a fun 12x12 summer layout using the Splash Zone collection and not one but two cut files!
I started out with three pieces of white textured cardstock. I cut out the pretty Splash Pad cut file from Lacey Ann Designs and the awesome Bella Blvd Waves For Days cut file. The last piece of cardstock I will use as my base. I adhered the Waves for Days cut file using some wet adhesive. I backed the Splash Pad cut file using papers from the Splash Zone and Home Sweet Home collection. Once my cut file was backed I added foam adhesive all over the back to pop it up from the background.
I have two photos of our daughter Alyssa having fun at the splash pad and I thought they were perfect for this layout! I added a layer of pattern paper behind the photos to help the blue on this layout really pop.
I tucked in some fun embellishments around my photos and the cut file. I love to have pieces peeking out around the cut file or on the cut file!
Having the Waves for Days cut file adds just the right amount of interest and texture to my background but still gives me that white space that I absolutely love on my layouts! Here is a look at my completed layout.
Thank you so much for taking a look at my layout today! If you would love have a look at my process video you can head on over to my YouTube channel and check it out HERE! Have a great day!
