Bella Blvd Studio Blog: JULY MOOD BOARD Inspiration with Nathalie

Nathalie with you today with one more project inspired by this month's Mood Board. July is here, and the colors and feel of the squares in the board are just so Summery that it was so easy to put a project together. Let me show you the Inspirational board:

All the water feel, the stripes, the waves and the bright colors were the inspiration for this page all about one of my Goddaughters love for water:

Don't you just love all the colors and texture on the page. This layout came together rather easily using a combination of papers from various Bella Blvd collections.

I started with a piece of left over Truck Parade paper (NSD layout) from the Fireworks and Freedom collection over white cardstock as the base for the page. This already brings the watercolor to the page, and follows the tile design in the pictures. I love the stripes in the bottom square of the board, so i cut strips of papers from Bella Besties, Splash Zone and Plaids & Dotty collections to bring some of the colors to the page. I glued them to the top of the background, and then hand stitched the wave pattern on each stripe.

I pulled the pictures of my Goddaughter and backed them with papers from the Splash Zone collection. A bit of foam adhesive help to make them pop from teh page. I pulled embellishments from the Splash Zone collection to create the clusters at the corners of the pictures.

To create the title, i used the large chipboard waves (Splash Zone collection) to bring the wave element from the board to the page, then used the Florence Alphabet stickers to complete the title work. A few drops of shimmer and white ink, and a few lines of journal under the pictures complete the page.

I love how this page came together rather easily by using a few of the images of the Mood Board as inspiration. Cannot wait to see what you create using this moodboard. Remember to share with us what you create, we love being inspired by you all!
